The heavy sound of a fire and a terrifying roar of an animal had echoed in the darkness, disturbing the tranquil silence of her surroundings.
Anna, who was already, scared to death, because of the dark around, now those horrible sounds made her shiver, and she screamed loudly out of fear.
All of a sudden, someone ruthlessly put his both hands on her mouth to suppress her screaming, not only that, he warned her yelling at her, if you make any more sounds I will kill you.
She was already frightened, but the sudden attack ran a chill down her span.
Moreover his cold voice and ruthless actions, made her out of breath. She was scared to death, that she even couldn’t turn around, to see who that horrible man was.
He dragged her to a little distance, and then threw her on the ground mercilessly.
After staring at her coldly for a while, he growled at her again, “you stupid woman…. you have already ruined my whole plan”…. now just sit here quietly, or I will shoot you directly.
After ordering her to sit silently, he moved forward and Anna started crying again, but of course secretly.
She had a deep wound on her left elbow, and it was bleeding, but the fact was, that she was not crying for the injuries. She was crying for her fate, which brought her to that horrifying jungle. And she was on the leniency and compassion of that ruthless man.
Anna massaged her wound a little, and saw him coming back to her from a distance.
His cold face and terrible expressions drained the blood from her already frightened face.
He came forward and shouted, you have ruined my whole plan you idiot woman… I have been working hard to entrap him… just because of you; I missed such an auspicious chance. You are such a coward. You know what? People like you should stay at home, instead of wandering in such place.
He was standing just over her head, and was advising her in an ordering tone, while staring her with enraged eyes.
He was definitely sharp tonged. And at that time so annoyed at her, that he didn’t even notice, she was injured.
Ahhhhhh… suddenly he shouted again in rage, whattt?? What on Earth are you doing here? Just because of your stupidity, I missed my target, and the bullet hit his leg, if you didn’t have screamed stupidly, he would not be alerted.
He was continuously scolding her on her that mistake, for which, she could not be blamed.
Anna was busy in shedding tears, with loud sobs; her head lowered almost buried in her knees.
While he was venting his anger on her.
Now God knows where he has hidden in the woods?? We can’t just ajar an injured lion to wander here freely. You have really made him envy.
Now instead of me, he will be watching out for me…. Of course, he will be looking for his revenge now. He worryingly talked to himself.
After listening to his word ‘injured lion’, Anna forgot her earlier problems, she started panicking and felt a lot of depression coming over her.
When he suddenly saw her frightened yet pale face, and eyes widened with fear, his lips twitched in a smirk.
Giving it some thought, he stated again sarcastically, you better be careful, maybe he likes to attack you instead of me, and he is so clever.
But of course…. it’s better if he attacks you, at least you should be punished for what you have done.
Before she could answer him, he moved forward carelessly, leaving her behind, she was near to death out of the fear, he had already given her.
Oh my God… he is going back, I think I should ask him for help, thought Anna. So what if he is so horrible and ruthless? He still is a human and of course he is much better than an injured lion. If he left me here alone, what am I supposed to do?
With this thought, Anna stood up and rushed after him, therefore she deliberately didn’t shout to call for him, as he was already irritated and much annoyed from her screaming before.
He was walking slowly, so Anna overtook him in a few seconds, and called for him with her uneven breathing, hello… please listen…. I have come here by an accident… please help me I will be really obliged… please help me.
He was surprised on her sudden request at first hand, therefore after seeing her like this and thinking about how she ruined his plan, he stated coldly, listen woman! I really don’t have any interest in social work at this hour…. and so far as you are concerned… I really don’t want to waste my time and efforts in helping you. Consequently, I am sorry; I will take my leave first. With that cold and careless statement he moved forward again.
When Anna saw this, she ran and came in front of him.
I didn’t mean to do what I did.. I am extremely sorry for that… she was begging for his help earnestly, with her pitiful watery eyes and joint hands in front of her chest. Please I beg you… I will really die alone in this dangerous atmosphere here… I am too scared here.
He stared at her for a while, quietly observing her little actions.
He suddenly realized that she was badly injured and her wounds were bleeding. He said somewhat unwillingly, ‘come’! She was in doubts for a while, whether he will accept her request and help her or not?? Thereupon when he allowed her to follow him she felt extremely relaxed and pleased inside her.
On the other hand he was completely incautious about her, whether she is coming after him or not?
Anna was latterly running to catch his pace, but she was still behind him, after running for half an hour her legs felt numb. Yet she didn’t want to give up, as she had a fear that, if she stopped perhaps he will leave her here and move forward, without taking a single back glance, either she is coming or not?
After crossing the unstable paths in running pace, for forty five minutes, he stopped before a jeep. After sitting in the driving seat, he opened the first passenger seat for her, as soon as she hoped in, he started running the jeep.
Perhaps, he likes all toils as quick as he could, like rashly walking, rashly driving and making his listeners frightened, with his reckless and harsh tone. Anna thought to herself.
Anna was panting heavily, due to constantly running to catch his pace. Thereupon, she relaxed her head on the seat, and closed her eyes to catch her breath.
During the whole journey, he didn’t even give her a single side glance. Yet Anna had looked at him for a few times secretly.
He had a tall yet slander figure. He had a very handsome face with straight nose, deep eyes and beautifully arched lips which he had made like a single line by pursing them tightly together.
His face was quiet red at that time maybe because of the vexation. He was wearing a pair of black jeans pants with a black leather jacket and a pair of black long shoes.
The first thing, that came into Anna’s mind after eyeing him secretly was, ‘He is such an angry bird, with an eye catching face and domineering aura.’
There was a gun hanging on his left shoulder, and a revolver was engorged in his jacket, along with all this a dagger was put tightly in his pants pocket.
Perhaps he was a professional hunter. After glancing at him for a few times, and noticing his serious and focused expressions and his driving skills, she came to a realization, that he was completely aware of the surroundings.
With that thought, Anna reviled a sigh of relief. She was now in safe hands. She thought to herself. What if he was as fumbler as her? It would be such troublesome for both of them. Though he was still a stranger she felt relaxed and reviled under his protection.
