Nestled in the heart of Karachi’s most luxurious district, "The Royal Cuisine" was a testament to sheer opulence. Every glittering crystal chandelier, velvet-upholstered booth, and soft golden light screamed wealth. This elite five-star establishment belonged to none other than Raza Sikandar—Pakistan’s youngest and most ruthless billionaire tycoon. Raza was a permanent fixture in business headlines and a man whose sharp, devastating looks could stop a beating heart. Yet, behind that flawless exterior lay a man who was cold, arrogant, and deeply cynical. To Raza, the world was a marketplace where everyone had a price, and women were merely gold diggers chasing his massive bank balance.

On the other side of the grand double doors, a mini-hurricane was brewing in the kitchen area.

"Oh my God! If that TV hero ever walks through those doors, I swear I will drop the menu card right at his feet!" Saman Ali squealed, dramatically straightening her waiter's cap. Saman was a breath of fresh air—bubbly, vivacious, and hopelessly cheerful despite her modest background. She chose to face her poverty with a wide smile and sharp wit. But her biggest, loudest secret was her massive, borderline obsessive crush on her own boss. She had only ever seen Raza Sikandar in sharp, custom three-piece suits on television screens, and she had utterly lost her heart to him.

"Saman! Cut the chatter and get to Table 7. A bizarre customer just walked in, wearing a black mask and cheap jeans," the restaurant manager barked, shoving an order book into her hands.

"On it, sir!" Saman gave a playful, mock salute and skipped out toward the dining hall.

The man sitting at Table 7 was, of course, Raza Sikandar himself. Bored of his predictable life, he had decided to go incognito to personally test the service and behavior of his staff. Dressed in an oversized, worn-out hoodie, faded jeans, thick glasses, and a black face mask, he was unrecognizable. He wanted to see how his employees treated an ordinary, everyday citizen.

"Good evening, sir! Welcome to The Royal Cuisine! What magical dish can I get for you on this stormy night?" Saman chirped, placing the menu before him with her signature theatrical flair.

Raza looked up. From behind his dark frames, his piercing, cold eyes carefully mapped the expressions on her animated face. He opened the leather-bound menu and deliberately let out a heavy, tragic sigh, playing his part to perfection.

"Is... is a simple cup of tea really fifteen hundred rupees here?" Raza asked, softening his usually commanding voice to sound helpless and intimidated.

Saman blinked, staring at the 'poor guy' in front of her. Thanks to the mask and glasses, she had absolutely no clue that this was the very Raza Sikandar whose pictures she stared at on her phone every single day. Looking at his cheap hoodie, her soft, innocent heart swelled with pure pity. ‘Oh, poor thing,’ she thought to herself. ‘He looks like a decent, educated guy from a humble family. He probably walked into this expensive place by mistake while looking for a job interview.’

Saman leaned in closer over the table, darting her eyes left and right to ensure the manager wasn't watching. She lowered her voice to an urgent, conspiratorial whisper.

"Listen to me, brother. Close that menu card right now. If you drink even a glass of water here, your entire month's pocket money will vanish into thin air! This restaurant belongs to our utterly stingy, blood-sucking boss, Raza Sikandar! The price of a single tea here can buy your family a whole week of groceries."

Behind his black mask, Raza ground his teeth. In his life, he had been called many things—ruthless, arrogant, tyrannical—but 'stingy and blood-sucking'? That was entirely new. Suppressing a sudden urge to both laugh and roar in anger, he played along. "But I’m starving, and my pockets are practically empty."

Saman’s heart melted completely. Without a second thought, she slipped her hand into her apron pocket and pulled out a few crumpled bills—the tips she had earned from her previous tables. She stealthily slid the money under the table and pressed it into Raza’s palm.

"Here, take this. It’s not a fortune, but it’ll do," Saman whispered, giving him a reassuring wink. "Now, stand up quietly and exit through the back door. There’s a local dhabba called 'Pappu's Cafe' just across the street. You can get a piping hot, strong cardamom tea and a buttery paratha there for just fifty rupees. It'll fill your stomach and save your money. Go, go! If the manager catches us, I’ll lose my job!"

Raza sat in a state of absolute, frozen shock, staring down at the three hundred crumpled rupees in his hand. He—Raza Sikandar, a man who signed billion-rupee deals daily without blinking—was being handed charity by a low-wage waitress! While his massive ego took a hit, something entirely strange and unprecedented sparked deep within his chest.

Every woman he had ever met worshipped his cars, his designer brands, and his status. But this girl... she was willingly giving up her hard-earned money just to feed an ordinary, broke stranger. The cynical belief that had governed his entire life—that everyone was driven by greed—crumbled to dust in a single second.

Raza pocketed the crumpled notes, a sudden streak of mischief coloring his voice. "And what if I don't want to leave? What if I want to sit right here and have tea poured by your hands?"

Saman cupped her face in her hands, making a hilariously frustrated expression. "Oh goodness, you are one stubborn guy! Look, the manager is watching us. Tell you what—stay right here. I’ll sneak into the kitchen and secretly bring you my own share of tea and biscuits. But promise me, you won't breathe a word to anyone, or I am ruined!"

Saman chuckled, making a playful face before scurrying back toward the kitchen. Raza slowly pulled off his mask, his gaze tracking her retreating figure. For the first time in years, a genuine, breathtaking smile broke across his usually cold, severe face.

"Saman Ali..." Raza murmured her name, the syllables rolling smoothly off his tongue. "You just bought Raza Sikandar for a mere three hundred rupees. Now, let’s see if you can handle my actual wealth..."

Saman sprinted toward the kitchen as if she were executing a top-secret guerrilla mission. Moving with practiced agility, she successfully evaded the manager’s sharp, watchful eyes. She poured a generous serving of her own share of strong cardamom tea into a beautiful porcelain cup, grabbed two chocolate biscuits, and made her way back to Table 7 with quiet, tiptoeing steps.

"Here you go, mister! Your VIP tea is served. Drink up while it's piping hot and make your escape," Saman whispered in her characteristically bubbly voice. She was still under the impression that Raza was just an ordinary, broke guy going through a rough patch, especially since his black mask was still firmly in place.

Raza looked at the steam rising from the tea cup, then stared directly into Saman’s sparkling, mischievous eyes. A sudden streak of playfulness took over him. Using one hand, he subtly lifted the black face mask just a little, brought the porcelain cup to his lips, and took a deep, appreciative sip of the hot tea. The blend was truly remarkable. He lowered the mask back into place and leaned back comfortably against the wooden chair, completely relaxed.

"The tea is absolutely fantastic," Raza said, his deep, mesmerizing voice carrying a natural, commanding undertone. "But I’ll get bored drinking it alone. Sit down in the chair across from me and keep me company."

Saman immediately placed both hands on her waist, arched a single eyebrow, and pulled a wonderfully dramatic expression.

"Oh, really? So, mister is trying to hit on me now?" Saman said, barely suppressing a loud laugh. "Are things really that bad for you? You eat my charity of three hundred rupees and immediately try to charm me? Listen, boy! You have absolutely no idea whose girlfriend I am! Don't even dream of hitting on me."

Raza’s hand froze mid-air over the tea cup. Behind the mask, his entire face filled with profound shock. Over the years, his name had been linked to top international models and high-society heiresses, but he had no clue when this ordinary little waitress had claimed a stake in his heart.

"Is that so? I really had no idea," Raza asked, carefully concealing his immense amusement and curiosity. "Please, do tell. Who is the lucky man?"

Saman lifted her chin with utter pride, flipped her hair back dramatically, and spoke with supreme confidence. "The biggest, most handsome, and wealthiest businessman in Pakistan... Raza Sikandar! He is deeply, hopelessly in love with me, got it? He is absolutely crazy about me!"

Hearing his own name, Raza’s mouth literally fell open in sheer disbelief. He sat frozen, staring at Saman. Behind his dark frames, his eyes widened to the size of saucers. He was left wondering if this girl was the biggest liar on the planet, or if the universe was playing its funniest prank on him.

Seeing Raza’s jaw drop, Saman clapped her hands and burst out laughing. "Hahaha! Look at that! Your mouth is wide open! Shocked, aren't you? Now you know exactly what legendary figure's future wife you are sitting across from!"

Raza cleared his throat with great difficulty, desperately fighting the urge to burst into laughter. "That very Raza Sikandar? The one who owns this entire five-star restaurant? If he is so completely crazy about you and is a multi-billionaire... why are you forced to clear other people's dirty dishes and work as a waitress?" Raza asked, deliberately putting on a deadpan, serious face.

Saman took a deep breath, morphed her face into the most innocent expression in the world, and waved her hand dismissively in the air.

"Oh, my dear friend! You wouldn't understand," she sighed dramatically. "The truth is, I just have a massive passion for cooking amazing food and helping poor people! I get so incredibly bored sitting around at home. So, just to pass the time and serve humanity, I do this job. Otherwise, Raza keeps me safely perched right on his eyelashes!"

Saman’s bubbly, utterly fabricated, yet entirely innocent response struck a chord deep inside Raza’s heart. He was laughing silently behind his mask at her sheer audacity and witty charm. While every other woman in his circle wore a mask of fake sophistication and serious calculation in his presence, this girl was standing right in front of him, confidently spinning a massive, hilarious lie right to his face.

Before Raza could formulate a witty reply, the manager’s roaring voice echoed from across the dining hall. "Saman!!! What on earth are you doing loitering around Table 7? Get back to work right now!"

Saman jumped in fright, spinning around to glare in the manager’s direction. "Oh great, my dad's servant is barking orders again! Well, I must leave. Finish that tea quickly and vanish into thin air before the manager spots you!" Saman gave Raza a playful wink and scurried back toward the kitchen.

Raza Sikandar remained seated in his wooden chair, staring at the space she had just occupied. He slowly pulled off his face mask. A deep, breathtaking, and enigmatic smile played upon his usually cold, unyielding lips. He reached into his pocket, pulled out his phone, and dialed his personal assistant.

"Rana! Schedule an urgent meeting at 'The Royal Cuisine' tomorrow morning at exactly 9:00 AM. I want the entire staff present. I am coming in personally..." Raza hung up, took the final sip of his tea, and stood up. He was now thoroughly eager to show his 'bubbly girlfriend' the true reality of her 'crazy lover'…
