Separated from human civilization by a magical wall, there existed another world deep into the forest where magical creatures resided, goblins, elves, pixies, fairies were almost extinct and lived in hiding from the majority 'The Vampires'. Vampires who were the most powerful creature, a world ruled by the Vampire King and Vampire Council, members of which consisted of vampire sorcerers, sorcerers who had been turned into vampires by making the contract with the pure—blooded vampires. Werewolves who rivaled them in strength and powers, their sworn enemies lived separately between the magical world and the human world at the periphery of the forest, marking their territories.
Today is the Vampire King’s birthday. The castle was loud with cheer, all the noble Vampires were lined up to wish him, all the girls awaited his presence, they were all glittered up to impress him, today was the night he was going to choose his queen.
A carriage stopped in front of the entrance to the castle.
"Look at those fools. We arrived a little late and they dared to think they have a chance against you, my lady?" The girl helped her mistress with her dress as she stepped out of the carriage.
"Those low lives need to learn their place, the queen has already been decided, only the official announcement remains." The door opened, Rebecca Williams made her way inside the castle; she was the daughter of the head of the Vampire council and the most suitable candidate for the Vampire Queen.
At another part of the castle, there was restlessness; the king had disappeared from his own birthday party. His ministers dispatched a search team for him.
Adrian was the fifth king of the Vampire world, the kings reined for thousands of years until they found someone more worthy of the throne be it their son/ grandsons/ or further down the line.
Adrian's ancestor ruled for 3000yrs until finally he was born with dark powers, the powers superior to anyone, the same powers which kept others away from him and all his life he faced loneliness. He was no longer lonely until he met his lover, Gabriella Blakesley, the only one that was able to piercing the darkness around him. She belonged to a powerful ancient werewolf clan ruled by the female alfa, she was born with the birthmark of the moon, making her the female alfa chosen by the moon goddess herself.
When Adrian reached their meeting place he found Gabriella staring at the full moon, she hadn't noticed his presence. e He then approached his beloved quietly and hugged her from behind.
"Happy Birthday!" She smiled as she leaned her head back. He pressed a kiss to the nape of her neck.
He extended his hand.
"What?" She raised her brows.
" My birthday present, where is it?" She held his hand and guided them to her belly.
He frowned. "This....is that...."
She nodded.
"I love you." He picked her up and spun around. "Thank you, this is the best gift ever." Slowly lowering her to the ground, he claimed her lips in a sweet kiss.
His happiness was short—lived when he heard the footsteps from miles away, "Damn!" he swore under his breath.
"Your soldiers have arrived, your majesty." She smiled bitterly.
"I've discussed the proposal with the council, we won't have to sneak in the dark to meet each other, very soon I'll make you my queen. You, me, and our child, we'll live happily like any other family." He smiled at her.
"Is it really possible? Thousands of yrs of enmity, can we erase it? I'm scared, will we be hunted down like others who dared to love the opposite clan? "
He looked into her eyes and said. "We'll bring the change, I am the vampire king and you're my queen, We'll have our dream turned into reality, Vampires and Werewolves, both clans will come together again, just like our clans lived in harmony with each other in ancient times.. I promise."
"I'll be waiting." She whispered into space.

The dark forest echoed numerous footsteps, the chase was long but they needed to hunt them down, "Disperse and find them." One vampire commanded.
"We don't follow your orders," One of the werewolves growled in response.
"There's no time to complain, we must find them!" growled another one.
Groups were made and sent in different directions.
"Stop," one of werewolves transformed into his human form, "ignore them and focus on finding that bitch. It's all because of her, she has disgraced us. Find her and kill her along with her child."
"Haah... haah.." Gabriella ran with all her might but she couldn't lose the vampires and werewolves behind her, she was weakened due to the childbirth. She hid behind a large stone and placed her newborn baby on the ground. "Be a good girl and wait here. Mama will come for you."
She then transformed into her wolf form and ran towards her enemies. She bit them, tearing them into pieces. Several vampires surrounded her, she heard wolves howling from a distance, "damn they're near! There are too many of them," Suddenly, a vampire lunged at her, just as she was about to be bitten a powerful force threw all the vampires away.
"Adrian!" She shouted the name of her beloved, the only one who had the power to throw them off without even touching them.
"Sorry, I was late," She heard him inside her mind.
"Where're you?"
"Hide somewhere safe, I'll come after handling them."
"Come back to us safe," She whispered as she dashed back to her child.
"Papa will come to us soon" She kisses her baby and held her close.
"Gabrielle!" She heard her mate.
"We're here, Adrian." She called out to him.
"Let's get out of here," He said weakly, tried to move but fell on the ground, his face was pale and he was severely injured, his wounds were gaping.
"Adrian?!" She shouted she had never seen him like that.
"They injected me with something," He winced in pain.
Just then one vampire appeared, "Your majesty," He knelt down in front of his King.
"Listen, Gabrielle, he'll take you somewhere safe where vampires and werewolves won't be able to reach you guys." Adrian assured his mate.
"I'm not leaving you behind!" She shouted tears filled her eyes, "I'm not!"
"I'm the Vampire King, remember?" He cupped her cheeks and rested his forehead against hers, "Please listen to me once in a while."
"Fine, we'll send our child with him but I'm staying with you." She told him.
"You know that's not possible, she won't be able to survive alone, she has a tremendous amount of powers, she'll need you to guide her." Adrian argued.
He took their daughter in his arms, he was finally able to look at her face, "My princess!" He planted a soft kiss on her forehead. "She'll do what we couldn't," He whispered as he looked at his mate. She was the child of prophecy, destined to bring the 2 clans together, destined to rule over them.
Handing her over to his mother, he held his tears back, "Now go," He stood up turning his back to them. "After this ends, I swear I'll come back to you," He kissed her tears away.
"Promise me."
"I promise," He sealed it with the kiss on her lips, "Now go."
