SCRUBBING the floor with ragged clothes while everyone is happy socializing on the banquet that Alpha Leonard mentioned after the great hunting of fall. Winter is coming, and fall is a massive murder of hunting food in the forest to survive the cold season.
Everyone is happy, they can eat the food served here. Dancing like on a fairy tale with those fancy gowns, dresses, and suits. All the werewolves here in a form of humans are having fun, while she and the other two Omega of the pack are serving the whole banquet.
Alyanna wishes that she was not born as Omega. She hopes she is just a normal Beta, dreaming to live the same way as others.
She is seventeen years old teenage girl who never met her parents because she was an abandoned child, taken on the house of Alpha, and became a lower servant as she was tagged as an Omega.
"Why these disgusting 'Omega' are here? Look, they have horrific wounds, and they smell so bad. They should be outside!" A woman shrieked.
And in an instant, Alyanna, Vanessa, and George were kicked out on the hall of the banquet. Starving and weak, whimpering on the coldness of the wind. Their body is thin and deprived of food, but they are working double like a mad man. Because if they stop doing the task assigned to them, they will taste a horrifying punishment.
Alyanna wants to live the rest of her life. She still believes in hope, that there is still light after the darkness. She often sneaks on the library of the pack territory, teaches herself how to read, and often reads fairytales and novels about romance, journeys, and life.
"Let's go somewhere, it is getting cold here," she suggested because the wind is getting icy cold. If they will stay outside the big warm wooden hall, they will eventually freeze to death.
The three of them went straight to the dark forest because even though they are omega, it would not change the fact that they are still werewolf who has a greater night vision than normal people.
The forest is dark and creepy, but they are all used to it. Alyanna always remembers the past where they will escape the punishment from a little mistake by running into the woods.
They gave all their efforts to create a treehouse for the three of them. That is their only haven.
When they reach their place, they decided to create fire to warm their thin bodies. Through the years that they were abused and used like nonliving things, they learn how to survive.
Many omega on the pack has been died because of the member's cruelty. Not to mention because omega for beta and alpha are nothing but lowly creatures born to be a servant.
They stored food in the treehouse. They are eating bread, and despite the hardships that they are currently living with, they are still hoping for a miracle. That someday, they will be accepted as who they are and what they are.
"Are we that hideous?" Vanessa asked in her low tone. Alyanna smiled broke into a sad one. She can feel what the younger omega feels right now. They are constantly being bullied, it is very tiring for them.
"There is a hope," Alyanna whispered. "I believe we can survive this."
Goerge disagree and burst out. "We are barely surviving, Alyanna! Look what they have done to Vanessa? She almost died because an alpha female kick her... I was almost burned into death! Just because I slept from working too much. It is only you who wants to believe that they will still change! They won't! They are heartless, and they will continue to be one."
Alyanna's tears flow on her face. She felt miserable, and guilty because she is dragging the two other omega. "I am so sorry. I am so sorry for holding you too."
Vanessa embraces her in a tight hug. ''It's okay. We believe in you."
ONLY that night they sleep peacefully. The next morning, they have to face the reality again.
The territory of Red Sky Pack is in the middle of Mount. Eris, surrounded by the thick forest, away from human civilization.
The pack territory is composed of wood and stone-built houses. There is a one-way road, and at the center is the packhouse where the Alpha and its family is residing.
This place has a hierarchy if it is not that noticeable enough. Alpha's who are far stronger, and ability to dominate is always on the top of the food chain.
Alyanna is working inside of the large house. She never experienced a peaceful day ever since being labeled as an omega. She is constantly experiencing bullying and beating as if it is now a normal thing for her to experience.
She can still feel pain, but her body is tolerated. No one sympathizes with an omega like her. She is a nuisance to the pack members. If she will have no longer use, they can freely be disposed of her.
She went inside and sweeping the floor is the first task he finished. Although the werewolves coming in and out intentionally put there on their shoes to give her more workload.
It's been around 1 in the afternoon when she felt her stomach protesting. She wants to eat, but she has still a lot of things to be done, or else a punishment is waiting for her.
She felt no energy anymore, she is drowsy, and she barely can stand straight because of her pitiful situation.
'I hope I am not an omega. I hope I am not suffering like this... Why life is unfair?'
She decided on taking a few minutes to break. She walks straight to the back of the packhouse. She is more than delighted when she found an apple tree. She ate the apple fruit without thinking about the consequences.
The girlfriend of the current alpha Leonard came out of nowhere and pushed Alyanna to the ground. Alyanna felt her back crack on the impact.
"What are you doing here, you slut!"
