Good morning world? This time I need to be cool. This is the first day of our classes, so I better change myself and do something, like finding good friends, eating healthy snacks at the cafeteria, participate in school, attending classes every day, avoiding cutting classes so that I can prevent getting detention. Sofor now, I want to start everything over.
I took a deep sigh and looked at the freshmen looking around and trying to find their rooms. After that, it was still the same.
"Sharlene," I immediately glanced at my friend named Chloey, who is still waving her hand, and she was hiding something in her back with her other hand.
"Ow? Chloey...I missed you so much. You look matured, huh" I said teasingly, but she looked messed up and still hid something on her back.
"I have a surprise for you. Tadaaaa!" she immediately pulled out the red velvet box and revealed what she was hiding in her back.
It was a nice present. "What is this?" I said questioningly, and she opened the red velvet box. My eyes were filled with amusement. It was a shiny gold necklace with a guitar shape in the middle of it.
"Wow! what a pleasure! Thanks, friend, for this," I said and hugged her tight. "Thank you, Chloey. I missed you a lot. Let's go," I said, and then I grabbed her arm and pulled her inside the university.
After the short message from the dean, the bell started to ring, and I'm surprised to find that, Chloey was my classmate, so we chose a table from the back and were sat next to each other.
My friend changed a lot. I remembered our childhood. I missed her teddybear toy that talked when you press the body of it.
I don't think I changed, and I am still childish. However, I'm trying to be tough and be mature.
"Sharlene? how's your vacation?" Chloey asked and bit the tip of her ballpen.
"Good, I'm still having fun with my video games, and my life was cycling by playing in my room. How about you, Chloey?" I asked, and her face turned sad.
I was shocked when the English teacher entered the room and immediately we stood up and bowed our head with respect.
"Goodmorning, sir," we said, and we took our seat.
"Goodmorning class, hmm, it seems I see your section is good? The class is silent, and the room is clean. I think I would appreciate this class as so far. So, everyone, I am Mister Lorenzo, your English teacher. I hope all of you treat me as a good teacher and always your eyes and ears to me and always think about your future and don't stop chasing your dreams," Mister Lorenzo said in amusement. I see that Mister Lorenzo is good and not so grumpy.
After Mister Lorenzo introduced himself, he tackled the upcoming lesson, and I found it was not boring, but it will take us some time to learn the new subject.
After a couple of hours, the bells rang again for the break time. Chloey held my hand tight, pulled me to the cafeteria. The cafeteria looked the same, and the tables were messy.
We instantly order a couple of burger and two cups of coke, we planned to eat outside, and that was when we found the big birch tree behind the school grounds. Chloey sat and leaned on the roots of the tree and sighed deeply.
"The school is boring," she said annoyingly. I furrowed my eyebrows and asked her. "What is it? is there someone bothering you?" I asked, and she immediately took the burger and bit it a little.
"Yes, we have a classmate that confessed to like me, and he has three friends that I find very annoying,
They teased me about answering the guy and having a date with him, so for me, it was disgusting and disrespectful, so I rolled my eyes and tried to avoid those jerks," she said irritably and bit the burger.
"That's fine? You should be thankful, and you're lucky that there is someone who likes you. But what about me? I'm still single and a virgin" I rolled my eyes and drank the cup of coke.
"Tss...I don't want to? And they want me to answer that guy...you know I want a long courtship before I answer the guy. I want him sending love letters, delivering a bouquet and chocolates, I mean," she said and waved her hair that covered in her face.
"That's up to you. If I found out someone likes me, I'd answer him quickly," I chirped and took a bit of a burger.
We fell silent. We almost had a heart attack when a man came to us holding a baseball bat and told us that we should leave the area.
He was tall and keen, he has sharp blue eyes, messy brown hair, masculine body, thin eyebrows, pink lips and probably was good looking, his polo was unbuttoned, so Chloey and I could see his exposed chest, and I turned red when I see he has a tattoo near on his neck.
"Ugly, the two of you get out here," he said and pointed his baseball bat to us, but we remain silent and frozen. His looks amused us. He was totally perfect and looked like an ideal man, but I saw how evil his heart has.
"Ugly? " I said questioningly and arched my eyebrows, "Yes...so get out of here unless you want me to rip your head out," he warned and stared at us.
"Youㅡwow? You're handsome, but deep inside, you're so ugly and wicked, so stop judging others without knowing their story, you jerk!" I barked and grabbed Chloey's hand away from that wicked.
I felt harsh about that, but he deserved it. Well, I should get a standing ovation for being brave. He was insane...I wish he could be expelled from school because he has a bad personality.
