Chapter

Luna, a successful attorney, lived for one thing. The idol, Raven Wilde. She'd spent her savings on merch, concerts, and even flew to U.S for a meet-and-greet. She knew Raven’s lyrics by heart.

Her latest obsession is always timing his song releases with her court cases. "Echoes" played in her head as she won a tough case. Clients loved her focus. Little did they know, Raven fueled it all.

Luna fingers flew across the keyboard, coding her latest app idea. The cafe buzzed around her. Lagos streets outside

Suddenly, her phone pinged. A message from an old friend: Need a lawyer. Urgent.

Luna’s instincts kicked in.

Luna texted back: What's the case?

Her friend replied: Someone's after my startup. Need you as soon as possible.

Luna grabbed her bag. "Code red."

At the office, her friend spilled it, a rival was sabotaging their project.

Luna’s eyes narrowed. "Not on my watch."

Luna dug into the case, uncovering a web of deceit. She pinpointed the rival's next move, a crucial investor meeting.

"Got you," she whispered.

At the meeting, Luna presented irrefutable evidence. The rival's plan crumbled. Her friend's startup was safe.

The investor smiled. "Impressed. You're a force, Luna."

Her friend hugged her. "Thanks, Lu."

Luna smiled, justice served. She ran home quickly and couldn’t even wait for her and the team to celebrate.

As she got home. Luna kicked off her shoes, flopped onto the couch, and hit play. Raven’s voice filled her space, her happy place. She sang along, stress melting away. Tonight, she was a fan, not a lawyer.

Luna lost herself in the music, eyes closed, letting Raven’s melodies take over. She knew every lyric, every beat. The apartment faded; she was in her own world.

The playlist ended. Silence.

Luna sighed, contented. She opened her eyes to a notification on her phone. Raven's team posting about a charity concert in Lagos!

Her heart skipped. Could she get tickets? She jumped up, grabbed her laptop, and started filling.

Hours later, tickets secured, Luna danced in her living room, she'd be front row. Tomorrow she'd wear her fave Raven merch.

The night ended with Luna smiling, clutching her phone like a treasure.

The day of the concert arrived. Luna dressed in her best Raven inspired outfit, hair styled, makeup flawless. She bounced to the venue, heart racing.

Front row, center seat. She snapped a selfie: Ready.

Raven took the stage. Luna screamed with the crowd. He sang directly to her or so she thought .

Luna's smile froze. Raven walked past, autographing posters, selfies with fans. No glance at her.

Luna shook her head, backing away. She slipped out, blending into the night. The Raven hype wore off. Home, alone, she'd binge her fave K-dramas instead.

Luna pushed through the crowded streets, the excitement of the concert now a distant memory. She hailed a ride, sinking into the backseat as the day's events replayed in her mind. Why had she thought Raven would notice her? She was just another face in the crowd.

The ride dropped her at her apartment. Luna trudged up the stairs, changed into Pajamas, and microwaved leftover rice. The quiet space swallowed her.

She curled up on the couch, remote in hand, and let the drama-filled world of K-dramas consume her. Hours passed. The night wore on.

The next morning, Luna woke to her usual routine coffee, emails, and work prep. The concert was yesterday's news. She smiled, remembering Raven’s performance. Maybe she'd daydream about him at work.

Luna settled into her day, tackling coding tasks with a quiet focus. Her phone pinged, a notification from her tweets : Raven's is really aggressive, how could he do such a thing.

Luna's eyes widened as she scrolled through the trending tweets. Raven's name was everywhere – drama, fights, speculation .

Luna's mind spun. The Raven she idolized wasn't the one in those videos.

Aggressive wasn't his vibe. Was it all hype, or was he having a rough day? She searched for more updates, but the internet was a mess, everyone speculating.

Her phone pinged again, a fan account tweeted: Raven apologized to his friend LIVE on stage! Luna checked, it was all true. He had paused mid-song, said sorry, looked genuinely remorseful.

Hmm. Maybe he’s human after all.

Luna's eyes misted as she recalled that day. She had told no one, but Raven’s music had found her. He was a teen then, strumming his guitar by the river, playing _Let Go_. She had sobbed, wanting to jump, and he had played softer, approached her quietly, and calmed her with his music.

He had handed her his cap and left.

Her secretary walked in quietly. "Luna, sorry to interrupt."

Luna looked up, lost in thought.

"A case file came in. Lawyer handling it’s asking you to review."

Luna blinked slowly. Which case?

The secretary hesitated. "Pro bono work. Single mother vs. unfair termination. Sounds like it needs your touch."

Luna nodded, taking the file.

She opened the folder, scanning pages. A young mother fighting for justice…

Luna's eyes scanned the pages, her mind still tingling with the memories of Raven’s music and that riverbank moment. The case seemed straightforward. Sarah, a single mother, had been let go from her job of five years due to "restructuring," despite excellent performance reviews. Her employer had replaced her with someone younger and cheaper.

As she read on, Luna’s fingers drummed the desk. Unfair termination was a plague. She’d fought similar battles before – tech spaces exploiting workers, ignoring rights.

She forwarded the case to bloggers . Within hours, #JusticeForSarah trended.

Luna drafted Sarah’s legal response. By week’s end, the company caved. Sarah got her job back plus compensation.

Sarah cried on the phone. "You are great. how can I thank you?"

Luna smiled. "Pay it forward."

Sarah’s gratitude still lingered as Luna hung up.

Luna head straight home, needing a break from the day's intensity. As she slipped into her apartment, the quiet enveloped her like a hug. She kicked off her heels, and let out a tired sigh .

The memory of Sarah’s tears lingered, mixed with Raven’s_Let Go_ melody floating in her mind.

She opened her fridge, grabbing leftover pasta for dinner.

Her friend, Alex, walked in with his guitar case. "Hey, ready to jam?"

Luna smiled weakly. "Yeah."

They sat down, and Alex struned a familiar tune. "Raven's new album dropping soon."
