Enice's Point of View

"Nice! We're going to Empty Club later at 7.Are you up?"

I shook my head at Lia. As much as I want to go with them in EC, I can't. Stupid family dinner sucks and will always be for me.

"I'll pass, Lia." I said. Her lips formed an 'O' shape like she was taken by surprise with my answer.

I rolled my eyes at her. "Dinner with the fam." I added like I don't have any other choice but to say it to her. She's getting suspicious with my answer and it wouldn't take her seconds to jump into some stupid conclusions.

Seconds later, she managed to laugh at me.

"Oh girl, no. Will I ever see you again tomorrow or nah? I'm sure your relatives will toast you or something. Should I say good luck?"

I glared at her. But I can't help but to think deeply about what Lia said. Oh well, like it would make any difference? I am pretty sure that my relatives will really do that. They're not fond of me that much. They don't like me and the hell I care when I am feeling the same for them? Like duh? We're on the same page.

"How about, you change into something? Like, be a good girl for once so they'll like you."

I rolled my eyes at Lia. "Like I didn't do it already? I tried to be a good girl, but they still throw a f*cking stone at me. I don't know anymore if they're my family or relatives or blood related. They never treat me like one, really. But that's not my problem anymore. As long as they're annoyed by my presence, I'll be happy." I grinned at her making her laugh.

Why would I even try to pleasure them when they do nothing but to disappoint and insult me? Like, duh? As if.

After school, I stayed in Starbucks for 1 hour to kill the time. It was already 6 when I decided to go home. When I was on our doorstep, I can already hear my relative's laughter as they tall about something interesting.

I'm glad that they didn't even talk about me. It's a surprise, since I know how they get excited everytime that the topic always drifted on me. They're always excited to insult me. Saying that I am such a disgrace in the family for being a rebel. Like duh? I have been a rebel for years already and I do think I deserve a medal for that.

I opened the front door before stepping inside and closing it without turning my back to the visitors, who's currently on the living room, looking at me in disgust.

I can't help but to roll my eyes.

"Oh! The not-so-nice girl who's named Nice for nothing." My aunt said. I don't even know her name so I'll just call her aunt…or grandma.

"Hello to you too, grams. You see, I'm pretty busy with school works this days so I go home from school at this hour. Can't I get a 'Welcome Home, Bitch' first?" I grinned widely when I saw her annoyed face.

"Nice! She's your Aunt Missy. Your father's sister." Mom was holding a spoon when she appears from the kitchen.

I walked to her before kissing her cheeks and facing grams again.

"Okay, Aunt Messy—"

"It's Missy!" Grams interjected.

I nodded nonchalantly. "Aunt and relatives from my father's side, I'll just go upstairs to change." I even winked at Messy before making my way upstairs.

I chuckled when I heard her crying voice on the living room complaining to my Mom of how I acted. Like duh? She started it first? Tch.

I never liked to be with the relatives in my father's side. They were always the one who insult me and call me a black sheep in the family. My father never say anything about it. He never even care if his own family talk sh*ts about me. I was never his favorite. It was always my sister, and that's what made me feel so out of place despite of how my Mom shows she loves me as what and who I am.

My mom's family is the best. It's just sad that they're far from us. I badly want to bond with them. They're cool, while in my father's side, I always feel pressured. Though, I shouldn't feel it because I always do what I want, but still, I felt it.

I may seem to not to care about their presence, but I pretend to because I don't want them to see me being intimidated by them. My father's family is a bunch of perfectionist people, and that's what I don't like. And I will always oppose them.

It didn't took me much of the time to change my clothes. I just wore a fitted cotton short and a white sleeveless top.

I silently made way downstairs. The perfectionist relatives immediately stared at me, but I let out a sarcastic smile before turning my back at them and going inside the kitchen.

I helped my Mom in the kitchen.

"No need to help me, hun. Why don't you bond with your relati—"

"Mom, I don't like them. The end of the story. We'll just blow the house off if I'll try to talk to them." And that's true. Me with the perfectionist people can't go together without blowing the place down. They always want to argue with me, and I don't want to lose from them. No. Never.

When the food was prepared, Dad and Victoria, my sister came. Dad always fetch my sister from the school while I take a cab to go home. Always. And I'm used to it.

I ate silently beside my Mom while the perfectionist family discuss about their business and all. The never ending cycle of talking the same sh*ts in front of the food.

"How about you, Nice? What's your plan?" Grams asked me. The sarcasm never escaped my ears as I processed her question.

I put my fork and knife down before looking at her and smiling sarcastically. "My plans?"

She nodded with a raised eyebrow.

"Will....not do anything about you." I said, still smiling.

"Vanazil Enice!" I heard my father shouted. Grams' eyeballs were now big as saucer.

My Mom coughed beside me. I know that she's covering her laugh deep inside. And that's what I love about her. She never stopped me from saying anything bad when she knows I was attacked first. She's a baddie too, just like me.

"Everly! Your daughter!" Grams shouted and I just pouted at her.

"Mom is out of this, Grams. Please, just let us eat quietly."

"I can't believe you Everly! I told you Von! She'll never be a good mother to your children! Just see what she did?! She just ignored the fact that your daughter is talking sh*ts! They don't know how to respect! Everly and her daughter is such a disgrace in Lamuerte!"

I closed my fist tightly before standing up angrily, facing the grams in front of me.

"My mom is out of this! Whatever the grudge that you are holding to me! Shoot me with that sh*ts! But never include my Mom in this! She knows how to respect and I too! It's just that I choose the person who's deserving for that! You get that old hag?! I can never f*cking understand your perfectionist of a family! You better listen to Bella Porch's song Build A Bitch and learn something from it! The f*ck! I'm out!"

I kissed my Mom's forehead before walking out of the dining.

So much for this dinner! Ugh!
