"We are moving AGAIN?" My step-mother yelled at my dad's face, looking furious.

"This is the last time darling I promi-" my dad got cut off by my annoying step mother

"whenever she is around everything turns into a disaster! It's about time you let her face the world on her own rather than spoiling her like you always do."

"I'm certain we can keep her past mistakes private in the next town." My dad sighed.

"There is a great school there for Amelia and it's a great town. Look at it as a fresh start for all of us."

"How many fresh starts does that little brat of yours need?!" She yelled.

"She's eighteen. It's time she faced the world on her own. We've suffered the consequences of her actions enough!"

I had enough and decided to finally come into view. "And, of course, she's home late. What a surprise." I rolled my eyes looking at her

"I would've been home on time if you picked me up like you were supposed to!"

"You are an adult now! You can take care of yourself."

"So I've heard" I replied.

"Oh, darling, I'm sorry you had to find your way home." My dad said looking guilty. But of course, my stepmom had to make a comment on everything.

"This is the babying I'm talking about; she shouldn't need a father looking after her anymore. She is ruining both our lives with her immaturity!"

"Are u done yet step-banshee?" I yawned.

"You've got the rest of your life to be annoying? Can you take a day off? You'd think it's your full time job."

"Your attitude is absolutely disgusting." she gasped.

"So is your personality, but you don't hear me complaining about it." I replied.

I'm Amelia Black. The daughter of Collin Black and Maria Black. I'm what the people call the "Bad Girl". They started calling me that so I started becoming that. My reputation started because of what happened in my past and ever since then people won't even give me a chance to explain myself.

I didn't believe I would ever meet someone who would see past my bad reputation until I met him...
