Early in the morning, Ayla was woken up by yelling echoing in the whole house.
Groaning in annoyance, she turned on her stomach, throwing the covers over her head, closing her eyes. The yelling continued, and Ayla became irritated, unable to fall back asleep. She reached for her phone, looking at the time.
''It's literally nine in the morning, way too early for this'' She grumpily said.
Not a second after closing her mouth, her bedroom door slammed open.
''Ayla! Wake up! It's noon, why are you still sleeping?'' Her mother's voice yelled.
Breathing in, Ayla answered, ''I'm awake mom''
''Why do you have an attitude this early? Get up, we're going out''
''Where?''
''To try on dresses''
''For what?''
''Stop asking questions, and take a shower''
''But where are we going?''
''Just dress up, will you?''
''Okay, okay''
''Hurry up, we're late already''
'''What?''
''Why are you still not getting showering?''
''I'm going, I'm going''
Sliding off the bed, Ayla stretched herself, a yawn following. She waddled to the bathroom, scratching her neck as she stared at her reflection in the mirror. Her hair was pointing everywhere, her eyes and cheeks swollen, covered in with freckles.
''So ugly'' She whispered, laughing at her swollen face.
Stepping out of the shower naked, Ayla waddled to her room, taking the towel that was on top of her closet's door, which she forgot to take to the bathroom with her. She started getting ready, when her mother walked in unannounced.
''You're still getting dressed?''
''Yes, I just got out of the bathroom''
''It took you three hours to shower?''
''Mom, it wasn't even fifty minutes''
''Hurry up''
''Yes ma'am''
Once again, the door was slammed shut which emitted a sigh from Ayla.
Dressed in a casual thigh slit dress, Ayla stood in front of the mirror putting her red hair in a pony tail, smiling proudly.
''You're still not done?'' Her mother's voice echoed from behind the door.
''I'm done, I'm done!'' Ayla saved herself.
''Then let's go, we'll buy something to eat along the way''
''Yes ma'am''
Looking at herself one last time, Ayla walked out, following her mother out of the house to the car.
''You have everything?''
''Yeah, my phone is right here''
''Good, let's go''
Nodding, Ayla fastened her seatbelt, looking at herself in her phone's reflection.
''Ma''
''What?''
''Do I look cute?''
''Your hair's going to be messing up''
''Why?''
''You will be trying on dresses''
''I'll put it on from the bottom''
''Sure..''
Parking in front of a building, the car was shut down.
''Where are we?'' Ayla asked, getting off.
''We're staying here for the day'' Her mother answered, walking besides her.
''Why?''
''Reasons, now stop asking questions and follow me''
''Yes''
Following her mother quietly, Ayla's eyes looked around, slowly realizing they're at a hotel.
''Good morning, Ms. Garcia!'' A young man greeted, brightly.
''Simon! Hello!'' Ms. Garcia answered.
''You're here!, everyone is here already"
''Really?''
''Yes, everyone calmly waiting, all excited to meet the bride''
''Of course, of course. We had some traffics along the way''
''No problem! you're fine''
''Good then''
''Is that her?''
Facing a very confused Ayla, Ms. Garcia nodded proudly.
''Hi there! My name is Simon, nice to meet you''
''Hi, I'm Ayla, nice to meet you too''
''She's a cute bride!''
Chuckling at the other's words, Ms. Garcia took a hold of her daughter's arm.
''Oh right, this way'' Simon guided.
''Thank you'' The relatives said in unison.
They were guided inside an elevator, Simon pressing the floor, letting the door close.
''So Ayla, how old are you? If I may''
''Oh me? I'm twenty three years old''
''Oh! That's a nice gap, only two years difference!''
''For what?''
''Between you and your future husband, of course''
''My future what?''
''Husband?''
Glancing at her mother, Ayla waited for her to say something, but the older was busy on her phone, not even paying attention to the conversation beside her. Not interrupting her, Ayla faced Simon, as the door opened letting them out.
''Say, Mr. Simon''
''Yes dear?''
''Who's my 'husband'?''
''That, I'm not allowed to tell. It's a surprise''
''What?''
''Yes. This way''
Not asking anymore questions, Ayla followed the young man quietly as they go down an hall, halting in front of a door, Simon opening it.
''We're here!'' He announced.
Entering after him, Ayla was in awe. The place was huge, it could probably fit two and half of her whole house inside. They had the view of a fool below it, and the city right in front of it.
''Wow'' Ayla breathed out.
''Girls! The bride is here!'' Simon called again.
Hurried footsteps were heard coming closer, a small group of people appearing.
''Hello!'' They greeted in unison.
''Hi'' Ayla answered shyly.
''So ladies, she is the bride, her name is Ayla. So let's take care of her'' Simon explained.
''Yes sir!''
Facing Ayla, he smiled.
''Ayla, the girls will betaking care of you for today, We have eight hours. Ms. Garcia?''
''Yes?'' Ayla's mother answered.
''You did get her nails and her facial done, right?''
''Yep, just like you told me''
''Good. We'll go over everything, there will be no bridal party because this is a rushed wedding. Got it?''
Nodding slowly, Ayla flashed a closed lip smile.
''Good! Now let's get to know each other!''
Cheering, the girls took a seated, encircling Ayla. Meanwhile, Simon quietly took Ayla's mother, going outside.
"She's not Eva, is she?" He asked in a serious tone.
"What do you mean?" Ms. Garcia respond.
"She's not Eva, her hair is ginger. Eva have a black hair, come on. What happened?"
Sighing, Ms. Garcia answered, "Eva left and haven't called home"
"How long has it been?"
"Two weeks"
"Did you search for her?"
"She ran away from the wedding"
"Ah, that explains it. Good thing they look alike"
"Yes, hopefully Ayla can replace her until I can convince her to come back"
"Hopefully. Are you attending the wedding?"
"Yeah, I have to walk her down the isle"
"You have to explain it to her"
"She won't forgive me"
"You don't know that"
"I feel terrible right now"
"Just explain it to her as softly as you can"
"That'll work?"
"You never know until you try"
"Thanks, I needed that"
"No problem"
"I have to leave, I to pick up something"
"Go ahead"
"See you later"
"Don't be late!"
"I won't!"
Waving at the older, Simon took a deep breath, walking back inside the room.
