Hazel POV
I groaned as the sunlight hit my face. Who the hell opened the curtains? I stood up lazily and slumped my way to the bathroom. Turning the shower on, I relaxed as the warm water hit my skin. I went to my cupboard and slipped on my undergarments and a pair of denim shorts and a navy blue top.
As I made my way down the stairs, I thought about how I was going to find a job considering I got fired because of my smart ass mouth. I took an apple from the counter and opened my laptop which I left here last night.
Oops. I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Hazel Rose and I am 19 years old. I am just an average girl with dark brown hair and green eyes trying to survive in this cruel world. But there is nothing special about me other than the fact that I am an orphan and live alone.
Sighing to myself, I start hunting for a job. There are many job proposals about baby sitting, personal assistant, waitress but the pay was not good. I wonder how I am going to pay my bills. Damn! I wish I didn't get fired from my job. I was lost in my thoughts when I heard the doorbell ring. I ran and quickly opened the door to see a handsome guy. He had brown hair, blue eyes and a strong jaw. He was wearing jeans with a tight black t-shirt that showed his muscles and abs. His neck and hands were tattooed making him look dangerous and equally edible. His aura screamed DANGER loud.
He’s hot.
I realised that I was staring then cleared my throat and asked.
"Who are you ?"
"Your well wisher." He said in a husky voice. A puzzled look appeared on my face which made him laugh and say.
"Won't you invite us in ?"
Xavier POV
I cursed as I thought about how Darren got a hold of my folder. That fucking folder contained all information regarding my illegal business. I really have to do something to get it back. Well, I actually have a plan.
"Max, go to Abbotswell road. We will find the solution of our problem there." I ordered him as I averted my gaze to my phone.
"What do you mean ?" Max questioned as I smirked thinking about what I was going to do.
As we reached Abbotswell street and went to house number 12, I rang the doorbell and the same girl with dark hair with highlights, green eyes wearing shorts and navy blue top opened the door. She looked beautiful than the first time I saw her in the cafe.
Xavier, you are here for work focus on it.
"Who are you?" Her angelic voice filled my ears.
"Your well wisher." I answered in my usual intimidating business tone. I smirked taking in her puzzled expression.
"Won't you invite us in?"
