"I... don't know," I whispered. I don't know how did it turn out like this. I was being captured by these guys in their suits. They will use me as a hostage, to get what they want.
I wanted to ask why, why me? But I already know the answer to it... or not? Maybe, maybe because I was a personal bodyguard of that devil Billionaire. Ryker Albrecht. I already quit that job a few weeks ago, but why would they use me? I'm just his bodyguard.
"Why won't you just tell us, where he is?!"
"I said, I don't know!" I couldn't compose myself anymore, to the point I shouted at them considering that I'm in trouble and I'm in front of these guys that can kill me anytime soon.
They keep on nagging me about Ryker when the truth is, I don't know where he is! Probably, partying with his friends while pushing himself to be drunk while I'm here tied up in a chair, have several wounds already, and being interrogated by these guys who can't understand what's the meaning of 'I don't know'.
The one closer to me slapped me and tightly grip my jaw. He forcefully, makes me look up at him while my tears are falling nonstop from my eyes. I can handle minor conflict that includes fighting but in this kind of situation, I can't. I'm useless with no weapons and while I'm tied up.
"Still protecting him? I thought you've resigned, why are you still protecting him?" His expression darkens while saying those words. He's scary and has this intimidating aura.
"T-That is.. what I'm t-talking about... I already r-resigned, that's w-why I d-don't.. know where h-he is right n-now." I hissed. He let me go harshly.
"Don't be harsh on her, Lefan." A deep low voice man spoke out of nowhere. I was looking around and tried to find that man but I can't see properly because the spotlight was on me.
"My apologies, Sir."
"Don't force her, and keep an eye on her." That was the last thing I had heard of that man. I didn't saw him but I have a hint of who it is. I think I've talked to him twice already. Vague memories are flashing in my head, it's making me confuse and I'm getting pissed at it.
"Who's that man?" I asked, not thinking if I have the right to asked or even speak. The guys looked at me with eyebrows met. Not happy with what I've asked or said.
"You don't have to know." Answered by the Lefan guy.
"But I want to know."
"So?"
"You... have to.. tell me... who he is! Argh!" The other guy punches me in my abdomen and it's freaking hurt so much. Damn you, Ryker. Once I get out of here, you'll be dead!
"You shut up!" After that, I didn't talk and they didn't hurt me again. In this room, even if the light is just up above my head I could see, a little to my right, the three guys are playing cards quietly.
I was watching them the whole time they play. Sometimes I can hear them talking about the game, sometimes Lefan guy will look up at me probably guarding me. It was almost an hour when I feel my eyelids are heavy and I just went to sleep but to woke up immediately when I heard them shouting.
"What is wrong with you?!" Shouted the man who punched me earlier. What the hell?
"What?! You're gonna punch me just because you think I've cheated?!" Lefan retorted. The other guy was left confused about how he will stop both of his comrades. Damn, I don't know but I found it funny.
"Yes!" And the guy gives Lefan an uppercut. Lefan wasn't expecting it, that he leaves a funny expression on his face. Well, for me it's funny. And I'm proud of myself that I can stop myself from laughing.
"Uhh, guys...?" The middleman guy tried to insert himself in between the two guys but couldn't find the right timing. Lefan was already exchanging punches with the other one and I could say it is really hard to put yourself between them without receiving a couple of punches.
"You're an idiot!"
"You're an airhead!"
Oh my god, they are insulting each other. I cannot believe I'm watching this. Like, I am watching high schoolers fight, with a referee too. All they need is a little more audience.
"Guys, stop! You two—"
"Uh, sir?" They fell silent when a woman entered the room with a tray full of food in her hands. "I'm just delivering this food, for the lady."
I can tell that she is modest and I think she can't even stand for herself, but why would she work for these guys? Lefan immediately stood up and tried to fix his clothes, as well as the other guy. The woman walks towards me and put the food on the floor, she smiled at me and then looked away.
"Thank you, Katelyn."
"You're welcome, Sir." The woman immediately went out of the room, leaving me again with these three guys. They look at me with those deadly stares.
"You can eat now."
"How?" They gave me the stares out of disbelief.
"Seriously? Push a food into your mouth, chew it and then swallow. Easy as that! Stupid."
"Yeah! I can do that! I know how to eat. But how can I eat, when I'm tied up here?! Unless you're going to feed me?" That made them stop, geez, they are the ones who are stupid here.
"Yuri, feed her."
"Why me?!"
"Because I said so!" Are they having a round-two of the fight? Well, that would be entertaining. The Yuri guy didn't have a choice but to come closer to me and started feeding me. For all these wounds I got from them, I think I deserve this one. Even if they will untie me for ten minutes, I still couldn't eat properly because I'm already drained.
I've been here for, maybe, almost a day now. And before I got to this moment I got a fight with them first. I keep on refusing to be caught by them. I keep on struggling from their grips even though I am already lost the battle. I only have me and they only have them, too, but one against three is just unfair and hard to escape.
"Can you please slow down?" I hissed. He's too fast that I only have the time to swallow my food.
"Where is she?" I instantly turned to look at the guy who just said that. I definitely know that voice, no doubt. I couldn't see him properly but I already know who he is. "Oh, Domino. Are you alright?"
Alright?! You are looking at me right now and you have the gut to ask if I'm alright?!
"So, it was you? I should have known. What do you want?!"
