Jasmine groaned and slowly opening her eyes. But, she immediately closed it again when a light almost blinded her. When her eyes adjusted to the light, she roamed it across the room. She saw a chair just right beside her bed where she is lying, a basket full of fruits on top of a cabinet on her left, a beating monitor on her right, and in front of it is dextrose which is attached to the back of her hand. Soon after she realized, she was in a hospital. She felt panic when she can't remember why she was there. All she could remember was she was driving to her house from her work and after that, nothing.

　　Jasmine was worried and anxious at the same time. If she was admitted to a hospital, that also means doctors are lurking everywhere, which she doesn't like. And talking about the devil, a doctor came inside the room. The doctor is wearing a lab coat and holding a chart in his left hand. He's looking at the chart he's holding for a couple of seconds and glanced at me. He seemed surprised when he saw me as his eyes went wide but he recovered immediately and smiles sweetly.

　　I could have fallen if I saw that kind of smile he's wearing but I'm Jasmine, so I won't. Liliana thought.

　　“ I see, you're awake now. So, how are you feeling? Any pains? ” The doctor asked Jasmine but the latter didn't answer him, not even a shrug or a nod. 

　　“ Oh, your record doesn't state here that you cut your tongue or lose your sense of hearing. You can at least try to answer it, honey. ” The doctor said while checking the chart his holding and a smirk is visible on his face.

　　“ She's stubborn as what her mother told me.” The doctor whispered to himself but Jasmine heard it and that makes her blood boiled.

　　“ Y-you! ” Jasmine expected her voice to be loud but it came out like a growl. Her throat is dry that is why her voice is like that.

　　The Doctor approaches Jasmine and closely examines the latter's current physical conditions. Because of the distance between them, Jasmine now notices how beautiful is the doctor.

　　Dark Brown hair and eyes, thick dark brown eyebrows, tall nose, fair skin, and thin kissable red lips. That's how Jasmine describes him inside her head.

　　“Wait- WHAT?!” Jasmine blurted out that made the doctor startled.

　　“ Oh goodness, gracious! You startled me. I was just asking you something, what made you shout?” the doctor asked Jasmine.

　　Jasmine averted her eyes away from him, she's still embarrassed from what she was thinking a while ago. Who would think that way when he was just doing what he should do? Jasmine came back to her senses when the doctor speaks to her.

　　“Excuse me, Miss Clair? Is there something wrong? You seemed to be always spacing out. Does something concerning you about your condition? You can ask me.” the doctor tells Jasmine.

　　The doctor is worried about how Jasmine behaves right now. As a doctor, he needs to make sure his patients are well and that also includes Jasmine Clair.

　　Jasmine looks at the doctor and they stare at each other for quite a while until someone opened the room's door.

　　A nurse appeared and glance at the doctor, “ Sorry to bother you, Dr. Haines. Your shift Is done Dr. but we badly need you at the ER.” she said.

　　The doctor, which the nurse called earlier as Dr. Haines, turned around to face her.

　　“ I'll go there in a minute, I just need to do something here first. I'll be fast, I promise.” Dr. Haines tells her.

　　The nurse glanced at his back and her eyes went wide when she saw Jasmine awake.

　　“ O-oh, I'm sorry Dr. Haines. I didn't know your patient is awake now. I'm so sorry to bother you, I'll go ask anot-” the nurse was cut off when Dr. Haines speaks.

　　“ No, It's seemed to be urgent that you need to run all the way here to ask for my assistance. I'll go” Dr. Haines tells her.

　　The nurse just nodded at Dr. Haines and smiled at Jasmine before leaving the room.

　　Dr. Haines faced Jasmine, “ Miss Clair since I already informed you a while ago about your condition and I already made sure you're okay right now, I'll go take my leave.” Dr. Haines told Jasmine.

　　The doctor walked towards the door and before he could open it, he remembers something.

　　Dr. Haines faced Jasmine one more time, “ I almost forgot to introduce myself, I'm Dr. Yuhan Haines and I'll be your doctor here. Your mother will be here any minute from now, and I know she'll be happy to see you awake.”

　　After he said that, he opened the door and completely leave the room. Jasmine was left alone there and continued glancing at the white ceiling while she's waiting for her mother to come.
