This is the story of Kale, a low-class Saiyan sponge.
It is the year 780 on Planet Jupiter as a small child was born. He is a square-shaped light yellow sponge with olive-green holes. He had large blue eyes, each with three eyelashes, and two prominent front teeth. He also had three freckles on each cheek and dimples. A monkey-like tail on his backside. He had three bangs hanging to the right of his forehead and two bangs hanging to the left. His hair stands up in the front with four spikes and three bangs in the back. He was attended by his saiyan mother named Nashi. She was wearing a Battle Armor with a blue jumpsuit. A monkey-like tail that was around her waist as a makeshift belt. She wore a white armor with yellow shoulder straps. She was wearing white gloves and boots, with a blue scouter on the right-side of her ear. She was wearing long blue leg warmers on both of her legs. with a white legband on both of her legs. Her black hair would closely resemble King Vegeta the fifth.
King Trunks's father and the late King of all Saiyans. Who was assassinated by Kuriza when King Trunks was just a young prince.
The sponge baby had cried out, making his lonely plea to his home planet! And like all of the Saiyan babies, the saiyan child was destined to fight! He is the the son of two low-class warriors Nashi and Akio!
Nashi: "Let's see... I will call you Kale! Remember that name, my son." Nashi had said she was walking away from the baby incubator and looked around the high-tech room. Meanwhile, Akio and his close friend Tora were on an assignment to exterminate all the life forms of Planet Kanassa. Akio would bear a striking resemblance to his second son. Expect he was wearing a dark blue and green Battle Armor, dark blue combat pants, long red armbands with matching leg warmers, a green Scouter on his left eye, and black and green boots. And a thick rough scar running down his left cheek. After the planet is seemingly devoid of all other life, Akio and Tora were resting up and celebrated their victory by eating one of the slain Kanassa until one remaining warrior had caught him off guard and decides to give him the "gift" of seeing visions of the future. While he was in recovery after he had returned to Planet Jupiter, Akio is met with what he simply passes off as a delusion. In his vision, he witnesses the destruction of his home planet by the hand of Kuriza and also sees the salvation of the planet Earth through his son Kale. During this time, presiding doctors had said that Akio's power level is almost approaching 10,000, and that at this rate he may surpass the strength of the Saiyan monarch, King Trunks and his Queen Doral. Akio is still out of commission when Kuriza executes his selfish plan to resolve the paranoia he is experiencing. Following Kuriza's orders, the capable soldiers Tora and Nashi was instructed to clear the civilization of Planet Meat. During their visit to the planet, the two saiyans would encounter one of Kuria's most dangerous minions, Dodoria, and his elites, who would betray them by Kuria's orders and make short work of Akio's team. When Akio is informed that his wife and Tora had accepted an offer on planet Meat, a still injured Akio would hurriedly make preparations to pursue his friend and wife, unaware of the dangers that await at his destination. On his way to his Space Pod, he would come across his newborn son Kale and checked his power level to see if his visions about him growing up to be a strong warrior is true, but disregards the notion after seeing that his second son only has an average power level. Eventually, once upon Planet Meat, Akio had discovered his ravaged comrades and, to some fortune, finds that Tora is alive but in critical condition. Vowing to avenge his wife and friend, Akio had removed Tora's Armband, now soaked in blood, and puts it around his head. Akio is suddenly assaulted by Dodoria's Elite, although for a low-class Saiyan, he is able to dominate over the elite-class fighters until Dodoria had launched an Energy Cannon, overpowering Akio, blasting him into his wife and friend's dead bodies and leaving him for dead. Akio barely survives this attack, and coming to terms with the fact that his visions are actual premonitions and not a case of delirium, he desperately struggles against time to return to Planet Jupiter and change the grim fate of his saiyan people. Angry at the reaction that he had received, Akio would yell at the other Saiyans for their disbelief and they were stunned into silence. Akio had realized the hopelessness of his situation, but his second son would appear into him in a vision and Akio would go into a frenzy after taking to the skies where Kuriza's Spaceship is orbiting, in a last resort effort to throttle Kuriza's plan to eradicate the Saiyans. As Akio would display an abnormal ability to fend off hundreds of Kuriza's soldiers, Kuriza had decided that the situation is growing out of hand. Kuriza's decision is solidified by his perceived insolence of another Saiyan, King Trunks, who had invaded Kuriza's Spaceship with his saiyan queen in an attempt to rescue their only son, prince Tarble
who at this time is nowhere near the ship, as he was carrying out orders on another planet
. After killing King Trunks and his blue-haired Queen. Kuriza would step out into the orbit of planet Jupiter where he had encountered Akio, who would insist that the Saiyans had refused to continue being oppressed and commanded by the tyrant and announced his intentions to avenge all killed for Kuriza's cause. Intending to wipe out the Saiyans anyway, Kuriza does not see a problem with Akio's allegation, and somewhat patiently listens to Akio's speech, staking out the perfect opportunity to commence his genocide. Within moments, the Supernova is set free from Kuriza's fingertip and races through numerous bystander soldiers and towards Planet Jupiter; Akio had tried blasting it but his Final Spirit Energy Ball was overwhelmed and he was caught in the Supernova. As he is incinerated within the Supernova, Akio had one final vision, that of his son Kale and his oldest son Serori along with prince Tarble and general Nappa challenging and defeating Kuriza, which would bring a smile to his face. His only regret, however, is that he never had a chance to hold his infant son in his arms before his child was commissioned to Earth only days after being born. After his demise, Akio would wish his son, Kale, to take care. At this time, Kale, who is still in the space pod, would wake up to an automated voice. "Good morning, son of Akio and Nashi. Landing procedure countdown begins in 5 minutes." The automated voice had said. Elsewhere, having just completed an assignment on a far-off world, Tarble is informed of his home world's destruction. His pride would keep him from expressing his shock and he remains outwardly emotionless. Soon afterward, Kale's space pod had touched down on Planet Earth, where he is found by an elderly man named Gohan, and giggles happily in the old man's arms. Gohan would then decide to care for the boy as his own grandson and renames him Spongeku.
