"Amelia Claire Cromwell, here!" The media shouted as they were taking a photo of Amelia, one of the youngest self-made billionaires according to Forbes Magazine.
Amelia never thought
or even dreamt
of becoming THIS successful. Before, she was a young girl who dreamt of having a successful husband. She dreamt of standing alongside him, give him all he could ever want.
She molded herself into becoming the "perfect" wife-material, which she never was, in the first place. She was taught that women are made to please men. In the society that she lives in, finding a husband is a must. Although one is only a teenager, this society will push the girl to find a suitable husband.
Later on, Amelia realized how messed up that thinking is. Despite being looked down on by the environment that she was in, she didn't care. She became the independent woman that all the girls will look up to and she did this all by herself. She became successful because she worked for it, not because she found a successful husband.
With this, she became an inspiration to all. And Lord Vasquez is so proud, though his heart is now filled with regrets.
"Change for a man or change because I want to? " Amelia Claire said as she was making herself comfortable while a lot of Cameras are capturing her every move.
John Theodore Vasquez looked at the screen intently. 'She's back, huh?' He said to himself. After they broke up, which is because of the stupid mistake he made, he always watches her from a distance. He's always there, silently supporting her.
He even wishes to come back to her arms but he couldn't because he knew that he hurt her really badly. And he doesn't dare to come up to her.
"Yes, Madam." Her interviewer said. He listens to their interview. Ever since the news spread that she is back, he couldn't contain himself. He misses her.
"Hm... I'd say I will change. Not for someone, but for myself. I'd change for the better because I want to be better. I don't need a man to be better. I'm perfectly imperfect."
Amelia is really a strong independent woman. She has a strong personality that Theodore usually doesn't like. He can sense her independence even way back. However, society and her parents taught her to become submissive all the time.
When he got to know Amelia, when he spend time with her, he fell for her. And that scared him. So, he made a mistake to ruin their relationship and to ruin Amelia. And how he wish he didn't.
