It was a cold and breezy day, Jake and his pack was out on a run near a river when suddenly they found a human unconscious by the riverbed. First, they thought it was an injured wolf but with further inspection, they realized it was not. Rowen, Jakes' beta rushed to inform alpha Jake of this injured wolf but when he approached her, he picked up a familiar scent covering her. They couldn't tell which pack she belonged to, that was until Jake picked her up and realized she was a human!!!
They had never been that close to a human before, no humans were living close to that forest, and thus no reason for a human to wander off that far, alone. She was covered in bloodied scratches across her fair skin and had torn clothes.
"What do we do now Jay?" Steven asked
"Let's take her home, if we leave her here then she's as good as dead," Jake answered while looking around
He couldn't shake the feeling that they were not alone, he sensed they were being watched. With a human being around he didn't want them to expose themselves to her anyhow nor endanger her life. The pack walked back home in a protective circle, in the middle being Jake carrying the unconscious human.

In the deep forest of Kelnor lived a pack by the name of The Blue Moonlight pack led by alpha Xavier Flicker, who handed down the pack to his eldest child, Jake Flicker. Steven Flicker and the youngest being Marry Flicker trained by his side. He decided to leave the pack and enjoy his aging in peace with his wife, queen Lillian Flicker. Years ago the family of five was joined by extra two wolves, Owen Jet and Rowen Jet. Once upon a time, the Jet's pack got attacked and the pup twins lost everything. They were left for dead until alpha Xavier ran into them and took them in.

Marry and Lilian went outside and knew instantly someone had to have been injured but never fathomed it would be a human.
"Oh My, What happened?" Lilian rushed to Jake's side
"We found a human by the riverbed, she's hurt" Steven replied
Lilian was always fascinated and fond of humans and realizing one was in their presence, she swore to protect and care for her and be by her side.
"Quickly bring her in, hurry. Marry go prepare the guest room for her"
"Yes, mom!" Marry wasted no second and hurried upstairs as she was told.
The rest of the pack remained outside the castle while the Flickers attended to the human. Everyone was on edge by the unexpected occurrence.
"I called the pack doctor and he'll be here in no time, Jake come with me," Xavier informed everyone in the room.
Jake and Xavier stood outside the human's room
"What happened?" Xavier asked in a stern voice
"We found her looking like that by the riverbed, I picked up Huro's scent. He is behind this, I know it!"
"She's a human. What could Huro be doing with a human? He's heartless but not that heartless... still, keep away from him. Okay?"
"Heartless enough to destroy families! Dad let me find out what happened to her"
"Just don't let your mother know about Huro, Okay?"
Just then the pack doctor rushed into the room and stood still next to the bed.
"This is her, isn't it?"
"Yes doctor" Lillian answered
The doctor took a seat next to the human and did his analysis
"She must have gone through so much, I don't know much about humans but I'd like her to come for a checkup when he wakes up. She seems to have suffered so much trauma"
"And what does that mean?" Jake asked
"It means she might be suffering from amnesia. But like I said, bring her in when she wakes up"
"Thank you, Jake will stay here with her until she wakes up" Lillian faced Jake
"I have to go train the pack and put them at ease about this whole thing"
"Rowen will go and tell them"
"But mom!"
"Hush now! I know nothing will go wrong when you're in charge. Please watch her ok sweetie?"
Everyone left and Jake was left guarding the human. He wasn't fond of sitting around and taking care of someone else, if a pack member got injured they would be sent to the Heal House or hospital to recover. The Heal House was built for everyone, those who wanted to live in it and for pack meetings. He knew if he wanted to find out what happened to her he needed to do this.
**Jake’s POV***
Out of all the things I’d rather do to waste my time, guarding a human was never on the list. At least she’s bearable to look at despite the bandages on her.
“Yeah, she is cute. How long has she been out?” Steven asked as he noticed my staring,
“I don’t know. I had to keep track of it?” he rolled his eyes at me and huffed
“Wow, who knew the alpha of The Blue Moonlight Pack would be so careless”
Nobody said I must keep track of it, how will I know if I’m not informed of such things
“She was supposed to have healed like five days ago or something.”
“She’s a human, human’s don’t heal as fast as us. Everybody knows that. I feel pity for our pack, an alpha with muscles but no brains now your story will go down in history as one of the most horrific eras in history. We are doooooomed...doomed I tell ya!”
“Will you just get out, you should be training right now. Get out, leave.” I just can’t stand Steven.

"Ouch! My head"
That’s when she opened her eyes and scanned the room until she caught me staring at her.
