My name is Ameria Shajor and I have silver hair and glowing green jade eyes and look like a nobles daughter. I am a storm elf and this is how I met my soulmate. It was a normal day for me as I walked to my house from the magical shop Runes and Rods that I worked at. It was a honey brown building with a grey silver roof. The inside was honey brown. I was suddenly grabbed from behind as I passed an alley. I was forcefully turned around to face the one who grabbed me. It was a Dawn Golem. They were a light pinkish purple and could use magyk. This one had a very detailed face and body.

I put my palms in front of me while thinking of the spell čiigin čiigv. Before it could do anything it was wrapped up in chains made of lightning. Before I could grab my holo crystal bracelet to call for help two royal guards came down from the roof. One was a vampire the other was a kitsune. The kitsune had brown ears, tails, and hair with his eyes a honey brown.

The vampire is the one who caught my attention. He had black hair and red eyes with a face structure that made you think he was a noble. They were both wearing the black capes with the sakura flower embroidered on it showing they were the royal guard. The kitsune quickly killed the Dawn Golem with an energy sword while the vampire checked on me.

"Are you okay my Lady?" He asked.

I took a calming breath and then spoke. "Yes I am."

That is when two sakura flowers appeared on both of our wrists in light pink and red. We were soulmates. He smiled which shocked the kitsune judging by his gasp and said. "My name is Raiziel Jade. It's nice to meet you. Do you want to go out for lunch sometime?"

I smiled and said. "I would love to. My name is Ameria Shajor and I can meet you at eleven thirty if that's okay with you?" He agreed and told me he would meet me at my work after I told him where it was. They then disappeared but I could still feel their eyes on me as I finished the walk home. I got inside and was immediately wrapped up in fur from my saber toothed chupacabra.

My house had stone exterior walls on the outside and a blue tiled roof. My living room is a dark orchid. I won't describe the rest so pet my pet.

"Get down Aster." He got down so I went to the kitchen and fed us both. I got ready for my lunch date the next morning. I got dressed in a sky blue ankle length empire dress. I put on my robes that protected me from any mishaps in the shop. After taking care of Aster I went to work. At work I was told to brew a few potions. I did as I was told then when lunch break came I hanged up my work robes by the door to the street. There Raiziel was waiting for me.

"Good morning Raiziel. I hope so far you have had a good day?" I questioned him. He laughed a little then bemusedly told me.

"Yes I have had a good day so far and good morning to you too." He then took my hand and kissed it. I blushed as he did it then we went to a bakery that was called Chateau Dough that served my favorite pastry sandwich. It had pastel yellow exterior walls and a silver roof. The inside was a pastel yellow as well. My favorite pastry was called the flower sandwich. It was a hot sandwich full of mushrooms and roast beef with swiss cheese. It was called the flower sandwich because it was flower shaped.

Once we arrived that's what I ordered while Raiziel ordered a blood cream pastry. Vampires could have normal food so long as it had a little bit of animal blood. We then went to sit down at a booth while our food was made. We started to talk about our lives.

"I noticed you have magyk, where did you learn it?" He commented.

"I learned it from my mother who is the head sorceress of the storm tribe in Pryspell village which is in the Rockleaf forest. I moved here from the Emadia Empire to see if I could train under the master sorcerer here in the town of Moorsummer. I must work at a magyk shop for three years before I can apprentice to Master Jasion Zayne who is a necromancer. I have two days left."

"So you came to the Amusea Dynasty from the Emadia Empire to apprentice under a different Master sorcerer than your mother? Why?" He asked, confused.

"Why? Because I can't apprentice under my mother since she is my mother and Master Jasion Zayne is one of the only Master's that will take on a storm elf as an apprentice and this was the closest place to my home that would allow me to take an apprenticeship." I stated as he at first looked confused then angry.

"Why in the hell is there prejudice against the storm elves?" He exploded in anger. Everyone looked at us in shock. The head chef, a demon named Jannumon, had blue hair and eyes with blue skin showing he was a water demon and asked what was wrong. I explained and was shocked to find that everyone looked mad. Jannumon nodded in understanding then asked to next time be just a bit quieter. Raiziel agreed and apologized to everybody for disturbing their meal. We were then ignored by everyone and were served our food. I then continued what I was going to say.

"It's because when we are born we don't have control of our powers so we cause storms that get worse as we get older because of our emotions even though we gain control by the time we are ten and we can't leave until we are twenty years old so most of don't leave but no other master would take me on as an apprentice at home and I had a good feeling about this place so I came here. And my mom and I don't have a great relationship. Now do you have a pet and are you allergic to fur because I have a saber toothed chupacabra named Aster." I calmly told him while changing the subject.

"Yes my pet is a midget Golem called Romm. And no I am not allergic to fur. The job I'm aiming for is master armsman in the royal guard." He stated excitedly but with a knowing gleam in his eyes.

"That would be a nice job. I hope you're able to get it." I happily told him then looked at my holo crystal bracelet which was made out of jade and saw the time. "I'm sorry but I've got to go back to work. Let me pay for my half and when do you want to meet again or do you want to exchange numbers so we can talk about it later?" I asked as I got out one silver coin and twenty five copper.

We exchanged holo numbers and went to our work. Once at work I put on the robe again and went back to making potions. After work I went to The Smith Myth blacksmith that had stone exterior walls, black roof and stone interior walls for my staff and Asters collar. My staff was made of Swenyx, a light brown wood like metal and Oslil, a gem that turned the color of the user's aura. Aster's collar had a rune matrix on it so that he could grow small because the barracks for apprentices only allowed small pets unless they had a collar like the one I'm getting for Aster. I paid one hundred gold coins for my stuff then went to the Wonder Athenaeum Library.

It looked like a five story log cabin on the outside and what little you could see of the inside. There I got Flower marks on soulmate wrists. I then went home and at home my holo crystal bracelet dinged telling me I had a text message. It was from Raiziel.

Raiziel: I can't meet you for three days because of an event that's being held here at the castle. I'll meet you on Friday at the bakery we went to today at eleven if that's ok?

I texted back that it was fine then I went to bed. The two days passed quickly and once I got ready to leave on the last day my boss a siren called Eiremora handed me a piece of paper. "What's this for miss boss?" She smiled at me revealing her fangs and making her look more dangerous than her tiger skin and red hair and eyes already did. "This young one is your grade on your test." At my confused look she explained. "You had to work here for three years to see if you would have the patience and correct attitude for what you want to do. That paper you need to give to Master Jasion Zayne then you will find out if you can become an apprentice." I nodded and went to my home.

The next day I walked to the sorcerer's guild Lightning clouds had ghost white exterior walls and lavender roof. The inside was indigo on all seven levels and walked to the receptionist and asked her to send the paper to Master Zayne. I then paid her the two silver required. She sent it then a few minutes later came back with a piece of paper from master Zayne. It told me I got accepted and to pack my clothes, staff, pet and my things for said pet.

I was also to give my information to the receptionist to get my apprentice ID. So I filled out the paperwork and went home to pack my clothes which I did with a tap of my staff to the floor then in a separate bag I put Aster's things away then shrunk both bags to put in my pocket of my skirt. I put the leash on Aster then walked to Celnaer palace. Once there I was met with another apprentice that was human who led the way to my room first.
