CHAPTER ONE
Rainaaaaaaaaaaa! Get your lazy ass down here and help me prepare breakfast",I groan loudly as I roll out of bed, picking up my headset I head towards the kitchen.
Sorry for the late intro,my bad am so forgetful sometimes, anyway am Raina but let's stick with Rai as my roommate Shelly calls me.Did I mention that Shelly is the most annoying person have ever met, other than my humble self of course but I love her anyway.
Am just your typical Italian girl, black curly shoulder length hair, golden brown eyes which makes me look innocent rather than mischievous,plum pink lips and a tattoo of a Black tiger on my back.Am 5'4ft I don't think am too short either.
I hum a familiar tune as I head towards the kitchen to see what the fuss was all about,haha..........I clutch my stomach while laughing at Shelly who has baking powder all over her face and hair, grabbing a towel I make my way towards her to help her clean up.
"Could you go any faster" Shelly whines as I clean up the powder,"you know I could have just taken a picture" I chuckle lightly,"you wouldn't dare" Shelly glares at me trying to look intimidating which just makes her adorable, "someone's fiesty today" I say loudly trying to annoy Shelly more.walking to the fridge I take out a cereal and milk to make breakfast since Shelly's idea of baking was a disaster,I sit down on the stool and enjoy my breakfast while feeling Shelly's glares burning holes in my head,she eventually sits beside me and reaches for my bowl of cereal but I yank her hand away as she pouts trying to make her pleading face but I just ignore her,I don't share my food ever!! am cool like that," note the sarcasm.
Heading to my room after doing the dishes,I head for the bathroom and take a shower as I have a long day ahead of me working at the pizza delivery shop.Putting on a light ripped jeans and a shirt with my favorite pair of sneakers I head out," byeee rommie" I yell before leaving,"I love you" she yells back making me smile.Shelly's a college student studying business administration,she doesn't talk much about her family other than the fact that they are loaded,am also very glad about the fact that I don't have to talk about mine.My past is something I never want to remember.
The pizza delivery shop is just a ten minute walk from the apartment so I just stick with walking, heading inside I grin at Jeffery my co worker and close friend,who was trying to dance to the music playing from across the street.
"Heyyyyy Rai, did I tell you how much I love this song.... putting on the pizza delivery shirt with my jeans, I head out to help Jeffery behind the counter until a delivery comes up.
"Nooooo,I whine loudly after ten minutes of Jeffery trying to convince me to go clubbing with him tonight.
Jeff, you know how much I hate clubs.It smells like alcohol and sweat, not to mention the countless bodies grinding against each other ewwww.
"Whatever floats your boat baby".
Glaring at Jeffery I pick up the payphone which has been ringing,"hello this is Benny's pizza plaza,what can I do for you?
I'd like a delivery of Two pepperoni pizza please,amelodious voice replies making me slightly jealous of my feminine voice.
Hey,Gio you want anything else?
No, I'll just have whatever your having,I freeze as the deep masculine voice replies the caller.Gosh is it just me or are these guys blessed with the sweetest voices I facepalm myself while scribbling down the address.
"I write down the address which is actually an hotel and hand the order over to the chef to prepare the pizza and get ready for delivery.
