Axiara Xyliah POV

I was busy doing some stuff in my room when someone knocked at the door. I immediately stood up and opened it. And there, I saw my loving brother, wearing his sweetest smile. I welcomed him with a tight hug.

"I missed you, Brother." I uttered.

I heard him chuckled.

"So, how things are going?"

"Good. Nothing in particular". I answered.

"By the way, are you done packing up your things?"

"Not yet."

"It's going to be a long drive, you don't want to miss anything while on the way. Make sure to pack everything you need". He responded.

If I had the choice I will choose to stay. My former school was nice, I love it there. I do not want to be away from my brother as well. But nah, it won't do me any good staying for long so I dismissed the idea.

Kairox my brother was driving the car while I am seated at the backseat busy playing the horror game, Granny.

"Xia, you need to know that Azaxva is not a normal school. You're going to encounter unordinary people so please be careful" he said. I can sense the nervousness in his voice.

"You can count on me. I will keep myself safe from any harm brother, you don't need to worry. What's with you today? You sound weird ." I said and fake a laugh just to throw the awkward air away.

"I'm serious, Xia." He said in a serious tone, I nodded my head in agreement to shut him up.

We finally arrived which took us approximately 6 hours to reach our destination. I was astounded by how huge the school was. I haven't heared anything about it nor did I even know that this kind of school exists until not long ago.

Thick brown stoned high walls, golden gates, tall towering trees at least 15 meters high surrounded the entire perimeter.

"A school as secured as this is astonishing". I muttered in disbelief.

I was told the school is a like a community. It has its own market, malls, dormitories, hospitals, etc. I basically don't need to go out to buy stuff anymore. Everything you need is in here. The thought made me giggle.

I was about to get inside the gate when I noticed that my brother wasn't following me, I turned and looked at him.

I saw him standing near the car, staring at me. I looked at him with a furrowed forehead.

"Hey, are you not coming? Come on, my suitcase are heavy." I groaned.

"I can't". He said sadly.

I stared at him with a raised eyebrow, "Why not?"

"Axiara, only students are allowed inside".

"Come on, I don't think they will mind." I said, annoyed.

"Sorry, I can't. Be safe here, okay? Promise me that you will behave. I love you and I will surely miss you. I'm going to pay you a visit every 15th of the month, alright?" I don't like this conversation, it feels like he's biding his goodbyes. Sort of.

"And oh, Xia you are staying here for good. Here, you'll learn everything, anything". He added.

"Save your thanks for me later. Someday you will understand why I brought you here. Learn as much as you can because you will be able to make use of it when the time comes." A voice spoke in my head.

"D-did you just.. spoke?" I asked.

He just grinned.

"Nope." Weird.

I just shrugged it off. "Promise. I will miss you too. Love you! Be safe too, okay? Drive safe."

I watched him drive away. I held a deep breath and slowly walked into the gates. It felt strange when I entered the gate. I felt like I entered a portal and was brought into another dimension.

I closed my eyes and sighed. Then all of a sudden someone appeared out of nowhere which almost caused me a heart attack.

"Good afternoon Miss Axiara. Welcome to Azaxva University! I'm Zander Amatheo your guide for a month." He said with a wide smile.

"Huh? What does he mean by extraordinary? Is he crazy"? I thought.

I gave him a forced smile.

"Please follow me".

Zander then proceeded and discussed the rules and regulations while we are on our way to the headmistress office.

I was so preoccupied by the sorrounding that I did not absorb anything what was said - not even a single rule!

Finally, we arrived at the headmistress office. He knocked three times and the door suddenly opened. Ow, advance technology, cool!

Amatheo extended his hand signaling me to go ahead and enter as he excitedly uttered "Go on".

"Are you not going?"

"You will be fine. I will be here waiting outside".

When I entered the office I noticed the gold doubled door - just like the gate. Highly secured, huh? I mumbled.

"Welcome to Azaxva University Miss Montenegro. I suppose Zander had already told you about the rules and regulations here, right?" I nodded as a response.

The woman in front of me is wearing a long red gown with puffed sleeves, hair in a ponytail, arched brows and a red lipstick. She looks young and glamorous.

"Allow me to introduce my self. I am Helianthus Del Monte, the Headmistress. You may call me Miss Hel."

"Pleaure to meet you Miss Hel".

" Azaxva University has 4 distinguished kins, Miss Montenegro. First we have the Royalty, where Princes and Princesses are classified. These royalties are on top of the chain. Second, the Masters. They are second to royalties. Third, the Elites or the skillful ones. Lastly, the Scholars. And of course, we are still yet to know where you belong in those 4 class Miss Montenegro. This is why you are here. Please put your right palm here." She guided my hand on top of the small flying tear shaped machine.

"This is Toro, he will tell us which kin you belong. He will also help identify what ability or power you possess".

I rested my right palm on the scanner.

"What power is she talking about? I'm pretty sure I will be put to wherever the bottom of the chain is, interesting." I thought.

"You may now remove your hand".

"I am pleased to inform you that based on the available data gathered you have been identified as one of the Masters".

"C-cool". I sttuttered. I still could not get a clear picture as to what is happening.

"Here is the key to your room".

She then guided me to the door where Zander was waiting.

"Zander dear, please lead the way to the Masters Dorm for Miss Montenegro".

"Certainly". Zander replied.

After which, I bid my goodbyes to the headmistress and left.

While on our way, I still could not grasp the idea of the whole kin thing. I was shaken out of my deep thought when Zander spoke.

"I know you are confused but you will soon understand".

"Welcome to the Masters Room!" Toro said. Wew, I didn't know that thing can talk. Pft.

"Be careful to whoever you meet or encounter here Miss Axiara. It's a whole different world out here, far more different than what you used to know. And oh, you probably very powerful, huh? Master?" Zander said.

"Huh? What power? I am not rich if that's what you mean".

"Hahaha no, not that".

"What about you? What class are you?"

"I am a Master too. Welcome to the Kin Miss Axiara!"

"You may call me Xia or whatever you prefer just lose the Miss".

"Okay Axi!" tsk, this guy.

We entered the dorm. Its painted with white and gold, windows tainted black covered with white long soft silky curtains.

Are they obsessed with gold? I silently thought.

"Gold represents Masters, Diamond is for the Royalties, Queens and Kings wore rubies, Silver are for Elites while bronze are for Commoners." Zander said as if he read what's on my mind.

Perhaps, he noticed my curiousity in the surrounding area.

My room has two windows facing the field where the sun can shine brightly during the morning. I opened the window and the cold air blasted through my face.

I remember the voice earlier and I wonder what it meant.

"Alright, I will leave you be so you can rest. I'll pick you up tomorrow at 5 am."

He smiled and walked away.
