"You're so busy these days, gosh. Don't you have rest?" She pouted. My friends were here at my office, they gave me a visit since I haven't seen them for a month now due to my busy schedule. I felt bad for them, I badly wanted to be with them every week since they're not used to hanging around without me. But for some reason, I need to focus more on my job. I was the only one in our friendship who has a different path to them.

I smiled at them widely and genuinely. "I'm so sorry about that. But, don't worry, I'm having my rest at the right time. It's just... uhh some changes happened, and I need to focus on it. " I explained to them while I was sitting comfortably on my swivel chair while the four of them were sitting on the couch, while sipping on their iced coffee.

They bought me one. My favorite iced coffee.

"Well... if you can't be with us every week, then we will visit you here instead. " Claude said. I looked at them as I squinted my eyes. I doubt that, they're the type of person who easily get bored, and they will be bored if they'll stay here.

I bit my lower lip. "My office is so bored. Most of the time, you'll here nothing but your heart beat and breathe. This is a silent room because I always need to focus. I am managing a financial flows of a company. "

And it was a difficult job. Ever since I started to learn everything about this profession when I was in highschool and college, I already sensed that this will be so stressful.

I am a private accountant of a company. While my friends are architects and engineers and they're working together.

"Are you ready? You'll meet bigger people there. And you wouldn't know, they might be interested in you and decided to expand your job. Just be professional in front of them and spread your skills. " It was Bella. My boss. We're kind of friends since we always have each other, talk to each other most of our days. We became close as time passes by.

"I don't know if I would like the idea of expanding my job even more. You see, my duty in our company is already huge compared to what other people expect. " I rolled my eyes upward while we were on her car, she was driving towards the hospital.

Bella chuckled at me. "I know it is hard. Having a job is difficult, yet it is the only thing you must have in order to survive. "

Survive. Yeah. Speaking of survive, my college days were so arduous. It was more difficult as what other people think, I've suffered enough, I've been in too much pain. I thought I couldn't survive anymore consciously, I just tried to move forward because I have to.

Luckily, I still did great in college. When I met someone, I still did great even more because I was motivated, I was inspired. Who wouldn't? Your man was a dean's lister in his school, and it will be an embarassment for me if I will fail.

He knew everything about what was happening to me that time. Except my friends. So, he had been there for me to teach me, to lift me up. I was enjoying our great time together, I was enjoying those years.

That point of time made me forget about how temporary some people will be in our lives. And, so we decided to split up. For some reasons.

And for the second time, I was in my downfall again. Yet, I still chose to crawl, to stand up because I have to. I need to finish that degree, pass the board, get a decent job.

And so I did. And I survived again.

But I don't want to repeat the same thing happened in the history.

"Hey." I flinched a little when Bella tapped my shoulder. I looked at her with a questioning look on my face.

"We're here at the hospital. You suddenly became pre-occupied when I was saying something to you. " She spoke as she unbuckled her seatbealt and got out of the car. I did the same.

"Are you sure you're having a good and enough rest?" Bella questioned while she was covering the half of his face, the sun's light was hitting our face directly. I squinted my eyes and covered my face.

I nodded at her. "Yes, I am. I was just thinking of somethinf earlier. Sorry about that. "

Bella smiled at me and gestured her hand, signing that I should follow her. I wandered my eyes at the parking lot of the hospital, we're not at the main parking lot, Bella's car was parked in front of the hospital.

I furrowed my brows when I sensed that the place was familiar. I stared at the people inside, and my heart was starting to beat faster.

"Bella." I called her. She was in front of me, she turned her face at me and lifted her both brows.

"What hospital is this?" I questioned. While I was waiting for her to answer me, my heart seems wanted to escape inside my chest. I can here it pounding too much.

"Oh.. I forgot to say. We're in Elizalde North Hospital. Follow me, they're waiting at the 7th floor. "

My jaw dropped. That is why this place was familiar. This was my memorable place.
