I groaned at the sound of my alarm and stretched my hand to turn it off before sitting upright on my bed.My head was pounding due to the hungover,you might be wondering what makes me get drunk to this state,well I can give some explanation.
*LAST NIGHT*
"Ding dong ding dong"I wondered who was at the door cos I wasn't expecting anyone.I reluctantly stood up from the couch to answer the person"oh Darcy it's you" I said."were you expecting someone else cos u seems suprise" she said as she walked in. I'm not expecting anyone I was just surprised to see you since you told me this afternoon that you will be out with kalvin.
"Oh about that,we cancelled it since one of his friends is throwing a party and am here to ask you if you would like to go.
"I would love to Darcy, I have been sitting here alone for the past few hours thinking about the past you know" I said sighing
"You just have to forget about all this and try to move on with your life.she said giving me the "stop this" look go freshen up and get ready for the party.
"My life was almost ruined Darcy" tears start building up in my eyes "oh no calla, can you just stop this everything is gonna be okay just try and move on with your life I can feel your pain and I understand you but that is not the end of the world,move on dear"she hugged me and pat me on my head.
"Okaye thanks dear" I ran up the stairs to my room to get ready for the party after taking a quick shower I ran through my closet to look for a suitable dress for the party, finally I took out a tight maroon dress that had a sma flowery flow skirt at the bottom,unplanted my ponytail and leave my hair in a perfect long curls.
"Wow you look stunning in that dress"I look behind me to find Darcy sitting on my bed."come on,sit I"ll do your make u"she ushers me to a chair near my dressing table,she doesn't give me an option to decline and decided to give up since my face look like shit from the effect to crying and having sleepless nights.
"Have you ever been to one of this?I asked nervously,a fart party isn't my thing. Darcy laughs,"Not a fart party but have been to plenty of house parties you will be fine, have drink and have fun.she reassures me.
She doesn't let me look in the mirror during the process until she was done. I gasps when she hands me a mirror"wow"
I can't stop looking at the girl in the mirror"Me" I can't stop looking at myself. I haven't worn make up in a long time and even then it didn't look this good."oh thanks Darcy,I look great"I said smiling.
"I know I am good,now get your ass up and let go to the party.
I quickly put on my stunning black heel and grab a small cross bag to match. We got into Darcy's car and she drove off.
At the party we walked past slot of people and greeted those that we knew. We danced have drink and have fun by playing spin the bottle. I never knew how I got drunk but I knew I started with a shot,I kept drinking till I feel tipsy.
*BACK TO PRESENT*
That all I could remember,I couldn't even remember the person who brought me home. By the way, my name is Charlotte Crawford the only daughter but the second child of one of the richest businessmen in the country but I love being called my short name"Calla". You might be wondering what makes a billionaire's child sad or what happens in my past,just forget it you will know sooner or later.
"Charlotte, charlotte" I heard my name called by my aunt Mia. She has been like a mother to me since my mom died few years ago. I grumble out of bed to meet my Aunt. I saw her at the kitchen preparing pancakes,oh I love morning pancakes.
"Good morning Aunt Mia"I greeted her as she turns around to hug me.she take a look at me and said oh my baby looks pretty this morning,I guess you met someone last night.
"Oh no Aunt there you go again,I enjoyed myself last night but never met someone"I said as I shrugged.
"Calla you have to forget things and move on with your life,make your self happy please"
"Thanks Aunt I have been trying to do so"
"But you have to try hard"she said as she motioned a plate of pancakes to me."thanks I will try hard aunt"she then pull me into a warm embrace.
I went to the dinning room and started eating when I heard the noise of my younger brothers. There they go again having twin fight. The seven years old Mack & Jack like to have twin fight not like they are fighting but are playing so all we do is watch them. "Hey kids can you just stop the noise because you are disturbing me"I yelled.
Not long Aunt Mia offered them pancakes and promise to take them on a treat if they behave well. Mack and Jack loves Aunt Mia since she is just like a mother to them and treated them like her own children ever since they were four years of age.
After eating I clean my dish and went upstairs to chat with my friends,I can't wait to see what my last week at high school will be as a sophomore.
