ELLEANNA

I'm here in the room where I am lying on my bed. I decided to pack my things and decided to go to school. I think I'm late already. I looked at my room again and I smiled at it as I looked at it.

"This room of mine is so beautiful. I want it to be simple but they won't allow it, especially Mama," I said to myself as I watched the Royale designed my parents made here. They want it to make it gold but I refused since I only want a simple design since if I'll be in college, I'll start to be independent and no longer depend on them.

I decided to go downstairs and our maid called me earlier– because I needed to have breakfast.

I was close to the dinner table when I heard my parents shouting so I stopped walking. "You shouldn't do that to your daughter?!" Mama shouted angrily.

My eyes widened and I looked like they were talking about me because I was their only child. "No. My decision is final. Elleanna should homeschooling." Dad's emphasis.

I just covered my mouth and couldn't believe what he said. "W-what ... Papa says?" I couldn’t believe the question in my mind until I went back to my room again because I had lost my appetite because of what he said.

When I entered, I couldn't help but shed tears at what he said. I can't accept that I will be locked up here at home because he prefers me to study here as well. I have long wanted to leave so I reopened the cabinet I was hiding under my bed where all the things I will need when I leave this house.

I picked it up and opened it. I have a Jar that contains the money I have accumulated for a long time. There is also a laptop here when I will need it when I study.

I was about to pick it up when there was another knock on my door so I was surprised at the same time as I hurriedly put it back under my bed.

The door opened and the maid opened it for me with no expression looking at me. "Your Papa wants to see you immediately, go to him right away if you don't want to be scolded by him," she informed me.

I looked at her and didn't notice that I was hiding something from under my bed. I nodded to her but she didn't answer and left my room immediately.

I smiled bitterly because Papa wants to do it to me. He wants to do the things according he likes here in this house, he wants to be the one to be followed. One of the reasons why I want to leave this house. I can't feel the freedom– it suffocates me rather breathe here.

It's sad to think that even if you have a good life, even if your house is big and you get everything you want but he denies you what you want for yourself.

That is the imperfection of my life. I sighed and started walking back to the dining room. When I arrived I found my parents quietly eating. I guess they just finished the fight.

The butler serves me until I sit down, I'm ashamed of him and I don't want them to sell me like this. Papa was reading the newspaper but he took it down while looking at me. “Starting next week, you'll be drop-out and study at home,” Dad said.

I was stunned and looked at him. "But Papa, I'm graduating student already?!" I couldn’t help but react to his wishes. I looked at Mama who didn't care about me and she didn't pay attention to me.

"Are you questioning me now young lady?" Papa asked emphatically and frowned.

I immediately shook my head, "B-But Papa, it's a waste of time to study–," I didn't finish what I was going to say when he spoke.

"My decision is a final young lady. You must need to obey me," he said in an authoritative tone. So I did nothing and I sighed at him.

"Y-Yes, Papa," I insisted on agreeing to his wishes. He resumed his reading of the newspaper and the butler serves me the food. I was also forced to eat even though I lost my appetite because of Dad’s decision today.

Until I entered school, two bodyguards always accompanied me. It was strange because I was distracted by the looks of the students inside the school.

I let it go and continued to my classroom. "Elleanna!" Someone calling my name. I looked at who it was and my eyes widened when I saw it.

"Tina!" I shouted happily and I ran to her and hugged her tightly.

"How are you?" I asked her.

"I'm fine, you?" She asked. I simply shook my head and nodded it as she got what I wanted to convey.

"Let's go to the library," I whisper and I signaled to him that we would escape the two bodyguards guarding me. He nodded and winked.

We approached the two bodyguards and Tina confronted them. "Where are you going?" The bodyguard asked us and it looked like we had no intention of evicting him.

"Guard, we're just going to the cr. I'm peeing and I'm not with anyone," Tina reasoned and pretended to pee.

"We're coming," He said and Tina looked surprised.

"Guard ... we're going for women. Aren't you not allowed to go there because you're men?" Tina asks and it makes a reason for the two of us to get through. I can see in his companion's face the hesitant nod.

"Okay, just make it faster," one agreed. So Tina smiled and quickly pulled me somewhere towards the cr. But when we got there we immediately turned around and went to the 2nd floor where the library was.

"Phew ~ that was intense to fool your bodyguards again," Tina reasoned and act that she was still dying.

"It's annoying ... and they still have to keep an eye on me," I told her angrily. She nodded and opened the door.

"L-let's go inside and here we can talk freely and just need to be careful, it's hard to be caught..." she said and pulled me inside.

When we got to the computer section I told her what Dad had told me earlier, "What?! You're going homeschooling next week and you're not going to study here?!" She couldn't believe what I said to her.

My eyes widened and I quickly covered her mouth. "Shhh! Don't raise your voice," I restrained her. So I looked around to see other people looking at us.

I smiled hard at them and apologized to them, "I-I'm sorry ..." I said. They ignored us and removed my hand from his mouth.

I turned my gaze to her, "Don't worry, Elle. I have an idea since I know that you want to be free from your father. Last vacation while I was surfing a site I saw a scholarship and we will try if they haven't closed yet," she said and turned on the computer.

Opening the monitor window she immediately fiddled with it and returned to the site. "Here ... here ..." She said happily and pressed it.

"I knew it, they haven't closed it yet!" Tina said happily.

It was loading so we waited for a while, then a name popped up.

“Welcome to Wisdom Oakwood of Exclusive School,” I read in the name of the website.
