“You bastard, get out of my house. You are no longer needed” Kelvin my husband fumes with arrogant words at me.
“You don’t have to do this to me, Kelvin. We have gone a long way and now, what we just need, is understanding” I said, as I tried to convince him to let me stay.
“This is what you have been saying for a long time and yet, nothing changes. At least, I have had enough of you. I can’t keep risking spending my life with you. I have tried my best and moreover, you are nothing but a stupid pest to my life. Since I met you, you have brought nothing but pain and shame to me. Because of you, I haven’t been getting promotions at work. In fact, I cursed the day I met you” Kelvin said.
I was weak when I heard the words that proceeded out of his mouth. My heart ached, and my emotions were in trouble.
Ever since I met Kelvin, nothing has changed in my life. My life has been stagnant, and it was not even better than a dead corpse. I have been the one trying to make our relationship work and when it comes to making a family, he doesn’t seem to have interest either.
It pained me to see the man I have ever loved, chasing me out of his life as if I was a mere stranger or a sort of clueless fellow. I looked at him again, and couldn’t believe that he was really the one doing this to me.
“I must never see you in my house again, or anywhere around my life,” He said, as he kept throwing and flinging my bags out of his mansion.
“Where have I gone wrong? I have tried my best to make sure our marriage worked, but you have been the one frustrating the processes”
“Really?” He asked as he opened his eyes in surprise.
I relaxed my back close to the wall, and started to shed tears, thinking that he would be touched and finally get me consoled. While I was alone shedding tears, he came close to me. He bent and started to rub my face as if he was trying to wipe the tears coming out of my eyes. At once, I started to feel the usual feelings of romance I do felt, whenever he touches me. I was beginning to feel the man I married, and not the beast chasing me away.
He posed a familiar face that suggests him being compassionate towards me. He raised my head towards himself, and when my emotions were calming down, he launched a heavy slap on my face.
I fell to my feet and could see blood flowing out from my nose and mouth.
“You idiot, you think you can keep tying me down with your reckless attitude? I don’t even know how you got into my life in the first place. Just know that the more you stay here, the more you will likely get injured so, it's best you leave my environment now, or you take the painful risk of entering the lonely grave” Kelvin informed.
He spoke to me, without showing any sign of compassion at all. He showed me for the first time, the beastly side of himself.
Ever since I knew him and fell in love with him, I knew that our relationship wouldn’t work. In fact, I don’t really know who he was rejecting me for, but what I know is that he has been going out with a special lady for the past five months. However, I may not been authentic about the lucky witch he has been moving out with because I officially observed his cheating attitude for over a year now.
“Come and take her away from here” He ordered two of his bodyguards who furtherely came and kicked me out of his presence.
“Since you have refused to sign this divorce document, I therefore, sign it on your behalf’’ He said, as he flanged it to me.
“Damn, he really meant business’’ I said in my mind, as I watch my bags and myself being chased out.
What pained me the most was that the day was already dark, and the night was ruling?
It was already clocking 10 pm, when this bastard was engaging with me. He couldn’t even wait till the next morning. In fact, I was only about to eat my meal, when he suddenly returned from the goddamn place he went. This bastard has really disrespected and hurt my feelings and for this reason, I shall deal with him soon, once I get the opportunity.
While I was already walking outside the gate in humiliation, a dark and tinted car that was passing over me, suddenly stopped. Finally, my heart melted down, thinking that a compassionate savior had come for me.
“Come dear’’ A female voice from the car spoke.
I went close to hear who she was and what she would have to tell me. As I went close to the car screen, a hand-launched a wicked slap on my face. I was wondering who it was, until she pulled out her head outside the screen, so I could see her. While she pulled out her head, I saw different men in suits coming out from other cars, and walking close to my side.
As I was beginning to feel scared and suspicious of these people in suits, it finally came to my knowledge that Stephanie was the one who just slapped me.
‘’You Stephanie? How dare you?’’ I fumed.
‘’Ha ha ha’’ She smiled and laughed.
‘’You fool. You really thought that your husband loved you? Under your nose, I have collected your husband, and guess what, am about to ride on him this night, while you will remain homeless throughout’’ She said intimidatingly.
I was about to slap her when a suited man held my hand tight and squeezed it.
‘’Beat her up, and throw her into the bush’’ Stephanie ordered. Immediately after she spoke this, a tall man landed a heavy blow on me, and I fainted.
