I closed my eyes for a minute. But when I opened them again, three hours has already passed. You're kidding me. I tried closing them again, and just when I finally tasted drowsiness, my alarm went off.

No. It isn't my alarm. I noted to my myself that when it's Saturday, there would be no alarms. Dang it!

I crawled to my bed, yeah and my butt waving around as I look for that sound while my eyes are closed.

Beep! Beep! Beep!

Shut up!

Beep! Beep! Beep!

I tried to open my eyes and looked for the goddamn phone. I hissed when it was Athena, calling me for the fifth time. I yawned and pressed the decline button while picking some boogers on nose. Gross, I know. Like the heck, this is freaking normal. My eyes accidentally landed on my side mirror and I almost fainted. Jeez louise! Calm down... That's just your beautiful self. Yeah, and pigs can fly.

"You're beautiful and you know that." I picked the mirror up and smiled, disregarding my dark circles.

Don't underestimate my dark circles under my eyes, we stayed up until dawn just to finish editing a 9k word count! Boom, bow down! No seriously, my head is throbbing so bad right now. My stomach feels weird too. Dang, what time is it?

I groaned and answered my phone when it kept ringing. "What is it this time?"

"Hera, come on! You said that we'll go together at the Coffee Shop, right?"

I yawned again and laid down, closing my eyes. "I didn't know that it was today. Where are you now?" I answered half closing my eyes, trying to doze off again.

She chuckled sheepishly. "Um, I kinda am now in the Coffee Shop."

"But you said that we were going together?" I hissed.

Athena. She's my best friend and turns out that she's also my cousin's girlfriend. We kinda became besties since like months ago. We don't have that much in common but we really enjoy each other's company.

"Whatever. Just get your ass in here."

Beep! Beep!

I snored and went back to close my eyes when I just realized what happened. That girl just hung up on me?!! What?! I was positive that our plans about going to the Coffee Shop should be tomorrow or maybe next week. Ugh, come on.  Did Jervis did something again? Yep, that's him. My cousin.

Either way, the queen said to come, then I'll come.

A quick shower and I fixed myself first to appear decent before going to the Coffee Shop. I have my totebag with me as I pushed the door, cue chime of bell. I felt anxious a bit when some people stared at me, their stares lingered for a second before minding their own business, but as time goes by, good thing it didn't bother me anymore.

I walked slowly finding a pair of eyes wiggling at me as her hands waved. Really? At the center of the table? Athena is wearing a very cute stylish dress. Simple yet she looked so sophisticated.

Her eyes darted at my outfit. "Wow, are we having a business meeting right now?" She kid out that made me look at my clothes.

I sat beside her in this round table, which is really at the center in this area. I sighed again. I look like an idiot.

"My bad, force of habit. You little witch, you know you freaking made me come in here. And you know very well that I just finished writing my manuscript earlier. I'm just gon' sleep in here..."

I placed my tote bag carefully at the chair beside me as I dramatically placed my head at the table. No worries, I ain't rude. The table is pretty clear, it's just for a while and an act. "You can tell me if my cousin was being a jerk."

"I'm sorry, Hera. Honestly, I just wanted to hang out with you. We could go back to your unit if you want to rest."

Me and my mouth. She sounded so sorry and guilty, the heck why did I even said that. And now I'm the one who's feeling guilty for blabbing all of this shits all of a sudden. Cue guilt.

I raised my head and smiled. "You know what? I'll need a black coffee. Let's order, sis."

She smiled back, looking relieved. That's much better. For now I won't mind my white fitted longsleeves, tucked in a khaki pencil skirt thay reaches above my knees with a slit. Force of habit, like literally. This was supposed to be my rest day or even a day for me not to wear this outfit!

I picked up the menu and scanned for some food. I do need a bite. Stomach needs it. Err, let's see...

I looked at the other side when I heard Athena giggling. The heck?

She must've noticed me looking at her, she then gestured her hand at the other table, a bit far from here. It has a narrow table with four chairs , exactly facing us but a bit far.

"Oh, he's here?"

"Yeah, even his friends. They seemed to be working for their company."

Looks like my cousin didn't even recognize my presence. Damn whipped. How amusing it is to see people looking at each other with love.

"You're so into him," I say.

She chuckles. "No way, it's the other way around. He's into me."

I just shook my head and grinned at her as I continue to look for an order. I'm not really hungry, but I still need to fill my empty stomach or else I'll faint.

Err, which is which. My attention moved to Athena when she's giggling again.

"Now what?"

She smirked at me. "I think one of Jervis's friend is into you though."

Eh? I rolled my eyes at her and paid attention at the menu. I'm serious about the black coffee, or maybe not. Yeah, I'll just go with the Iced Tea and glazed donuts. Dang, that will do the trick.

I suddenly hear a group of laugh coming from Jervis's table. I'm sure that it's not Jervis, well as you can see, my cousin rarely opens his mouth, unless when he's with Athena. His kryptonite.

My attention lingered at their table while looking at the guy who's laughing like someone made a joke that is damn funny. My eyebrows furrowed, forehead creased, when he was the only laughing. The other was just looking at him like he's a weirdo.

"Why are you separated from his table?" I asked again.

"He's got work. We'll probably make out if we're seated next to each other." She winked at me and her answer made me gasp.

"Eww. You little―"

I gulped.

My eyes suddenly darted at the guy beside Jervis. Of all the four of them? He's the only person that looked so quiet and intimidating. Well there's this one guy who looked intimidating too but he's got the fuck boy type of vibe. But 'that' person I'm pertaining too?

He looked like one of those main character protagonist that has the same tropes of a billionaire, and the one with anger issues, and traumatizing past.

Oh my god.

His hair his a bit longer compared to them, those eyes― I can't see it clearly but the scar in his eyebrow down to his upper cheek? Trust me when I said that it looked so hot, and fucking attractive. Dang it. Just dang.

"Hey! Snap snap!"

I didn't mind Hera but when he must've noticed my stare. I raised my menu to cover my face as fast as the lightning. Shoot! That would be so embarrassing!

"What happened to you?"

I closed my eyes. "Hera, don't look at their table but I think someone that tickled my fancy."

Her eyes widened as she suddenly fanned herself. "First fucking time. Heck yeah! Let me guess, it's with Jervis' table?"

I nodded, she sounded enthusiastic. "Second guess. I know very well what's your type, Hera. Though that guy is an asshole, he doesn't even care about girls, just look at that black coffee―"

"Oh, he's not drinking anything nor he has a cup near him."

She got taken a back. "I was pretty sure that it'll be Timothy. He's the one who's got a hundred percent accurate with your ideal man. Well then, it's Yuki? The loud man with pink highlights?"

I gave her 'what' and questioning look. Her eyes widened. "Do you like Jervis?!"

"Shshshh! The heck, Athena? He's my cousin," I whispered when she literally shouted.

Oh damn.

She did a peace sign. "Right. Right. Sorry, but who? There's like no one left."

"Excuse me?" I raised my eyebrows. "You still haven't mentioned that guy oozing with so much sex appeal. Oh dang, I swear he could choke me. Fuck, those sharp jawlines could cut my soul and I would ask for it again and I'll even say sorry."

"Hera! Oh my god! No simp September! You sounded like a die hard fan simping for someone!"

The menu fell from my hands as I gasp. "Shoot! Force of habit, I was out of character. I'm sorry! My latest character in my novel was, ugh, nevermind."

She sighed and laughed at my silliness. "So him, huh? I didn't quite expect that."

"Yes, love. Him and only him."

"Your toast."

I shrug. "Well his name?" I ask.

Athena suddenly grinned at me wickedly. She raised her hands unusually while calling for the waiter's attention. As he already got all of our order, she smirked at me.

"You want it? You gotta earn it."

We're still talking about his name.
