Introduction
Cliry, the daughter of Emery, grew up and lived independently just like she did when she was still living in this world. Emery died just a year later after Cliff died. She died because she was not able to handle the pain and loneliness she felt towards the death of the guy she loved but never had the chance to confess her feelings. Cliry, on the other hand, knew about the painful story of her mother, and on the other hand, she felt sad for her mother for the heartache she had gone through. Now, the one who was taking care of Cliry was her grandparents. And just like mentioned earlier, Cliry chose to live an independent life. But no matter how much she wanted to run away with those people who had the will to take care of her, she ended up living under one roof together with her cousins. Her grandparents eventually let Cliry live in a mansion with the supervision of her two older cousins whom she treated as her brothers. Cliry’s life became miserable as well. As much as she wanted to live a normal life, one thing seemed to haunt her. The death of her loved ones was haunting her. First it was Cliff, followed by her mother-Emery, and the latest one was her boyfriend. She witnessed it all. She witnessed how her boyfriend died right in front of her. Despite witnessing everything, she hasn’t done anything to save her boyfriend’s life. And now, her last resort was to find the guy who claimed his boyfriend’s life and exact revenge.

Cliry’s POV

"Cliry, grandma just called my number. She told us that I and Santi would be accompanying and transporting you to your school today. This is the first day of college, and we'd like to help! You are about to accomplish your studies and are now a graduating student!"

"Definitely!!! Definitely!!"

"Do you want a celebration thrown for you, young girl?"

I grimaced and shook my head.

My cousins are once again getting paranoid.

Nevertheless, welcome to my tale. My name is Cliry, and these two that were battling in front of me were my two crazy cousins, namely James and Santi, and they were older than me.

"Listen, gentlemen, I've put my acts together. I've grown up. Please don't treat me like a kid. Nevertheless, James, you should concentrate on your class as well. "

My cousins are very protective of me, even though I am old enough to handle myself.

Perhaps it's because our grandparents commanded it though.

"Stop whining, Cliry, and just follow us. We are the ones that are older than you. Plus, you have no choice but to obey us. "Santi stated.

He is the oldest of all my cousins.

I simply nodded. I'll merely obey instructions just for social harmony.

"Don't hold yourself too hard, Cliry. Come on, show the world your gorgeous face." James is trying to lift the mood.

I simply plastered on a fake expression and went to the parking lot.

"How do you feel right now, Cliry? Are you looking forward to your first day of class?" When we were all inside the car, Santi inquired.

I simply nodded.

To be honest, I'm neither excited nor glad.

For me, it's simply another ordinary day.

I'm more concerned with having a chance encounter with someone I ought to meet.

Someone I should strike in the face, then he can experience my rage towards him.

Someone who was responsible for my boyfriend's death.

Yes, on my first day of school, I should have been given the opportunity to meet him.

"I hate to break it to you, Cliry, but you must brace yourself. There's a strong chance Wilford will still be your colleague in the future. I hope that's alright with you. Moving on is tough, but acceptance will undoubtedly make it easier." James reminded me.

Wilford, by the way, is the one I'm referring to. The assailant of my boyfriend.

All of the pain came flooding back.

How everything reached its peak on that awful night.

After school, my boyfriend and I were on our way home when Wilford blocked our route.

He had a gun in his hand and was aiming it at my boyfriend.

I questioned what was going on, but it appeared that I did not exist that night.

It's between them. A secret between them.

That night was the first time I saw Wilford's face.

My boyfriend and I haven't discussed anything related to him.

I was completely unaware of the sequence of events.

Between them, no one is communicating.

I was trying to pry the rifle from Wilford's grip, but I didn't get the opportunity to do it.

My name was screamed by my boyfriend.

He screamed my name one final time.

I only understood later that he had already been shot by that evil.

He fell and was eventually drenched in his own blood.

I called out for assistance.

I shouted out for the life of my boyfriend, but no one heard me.

I'm not sure how we got to the hospital that night, or how the doctor proclaimed my boyfriend dead when we got there.

I'm not sure what else happened.

The only thing I know for sure is that Wilford was the one who planned everything.

He was not imprisoned since he was not of legal age and there was no proof against him.

The fact that he appears to be having a great time makes me uneasy.

I need to take action to ensure that justice is served.

I have to battle for the life of my boyfriend.

However, in order to achieve the justice that I seek, I must act discreetly and safely.

I'm not even informing my relatives about my plans.

No impediment to my future actions, please.

"Don't worry about me, guys; I am capable of dealing with any situation." I stated just to give them assurance.

I need to reassure them that everything is fine. James gave me a big embrace.

I put my hand on his shoulder.

Well, all I'm aiming for now is to be able to see Wilford again.

I have a lot of questions for him.

But it's probable that he won't be able to speak up, so I guess striking him in the face will be the first option.
