"You are so shameless! Are you really my daughter?! I don't have a daughter like you!
Slut! Bitch!"
The cold raindrops pierced into Gracie Price's ears along with the hoarse curse like steel needles.
"Mom, I'm sorry."
Gracie gripped her collar tightly with one hand to cover the bruise on her neck. She bit her lips tightly and pretended to be calm. "Mom, go home. I love him."
These words completely provoked Gracie's mother, Summer Mills. Summer was taken aback for a moment and rushed up to tear Gracie's clothes. She raised her hand and slapped Gracie's face.
Slap!
"You are so shameless! He is already engaged! Engaged! You are no longer his girlfriend! Why are you still shamelessly staying here? Come home with me!"
Gracie smiled bitterly. Her heart ached.
Her mother was probably the only person in this world who genuinely cared about her.
Therefore, she could not leave!
She knew Jenson Ryan better than anyone else and what he was capable of!
She made up her mind and pushed Summer away. "Mom, I will not go back with you no matter what."
The cold rain splashed on her calves, and her lower abdomen twitched. Her legs felt weak, and she just wanted to find a place to sit down.
"Did you just kick me out? Don't you want me anymore?"
Gracie turned around without looking back and walked towards the small white villa step by step. Summer's desperate wail echoed behind her.
"Gracie! I'm begging you! Come home with me!"
A dull sound rang out, and Gracie turned around, only to see Summer kneeling on the ground and knocking the ground with her forehead. Her action caused the water puddle to splash all over.
In just two or three times, there was blood flowing down.
Every drop of blood heavily smashed into Gracie's heart. She clenched her fists tightly. Tears welled up in her eyes, but they never fell. Gracie's face was drenched under the rain. Her mother, who had given birth to her and raised her, was kneeling in front of her and begging her to go home.
Gracie clenched her teeth, not letting her tears fall nor letting her expression show any signs of change.
The night wind blew, and it felt as if there were sharp blades in the wind that fiercely scraped her heart.
Her lower abdomen tightened as if something was about to break out of it.
Gracie bit her lips, stubbornly turned around, and walked towards the villa without hesitation.
If she turned her head, Summer would probably not be able to return alive tonight.
"Good girl."
On the balcony of the second floor, the naked man stared at the trembling figure in the heavy rain with a cold smile on his face.
Gracie, you owe me this!
The fire of the platinum Zippo lighter shone on the side of Jenson's face. In this faint light, he glanced at the white photo frame on the table and felt annoyed again.
He grabbed it and threw it in the corner, shattering the glass into pieces.
The broken glass was like his heart that was riddled with holes!
"Jenson, I'm back. Just come at me if you're upset. Please let my mother go. She is innocent!"
The door slammed shut, and Gracie finally lost control of her fragile nerves. Her knees went soft, and she fell to the ground.
"Innocent? If your mother is innocent, what about my parents, who you killed?! They were even more innocent!"
His long, rough fingers pinched Gracie's chin, and he lifted her head up forcefully.
The two of them looked at each other.
Jenson's eyes were cold, and a cold smile flashed across his sharp lips. "But then again, I have already let her go. Why else do you think she can live to this day?!"
"You..."
His aura came at her like storm clouds, and he bit her lips hard. This was not the first time he had done this. Every time, Jenson was so violent and aggressive as if he was going to tear her apart!
