"Mr. Barry..."

"Call me Liam."

"Liam... Liam..."

"Mhmm, say it again. I like it."

Liam Barry supported Nayeli Dejesus by the waist, forcing her to repeatedly call out his name.

His desire piqued, his profound eyes squinted subtly, carefully observing the woman beneath him.

Her raven hair was scattered untidily on the pillow, and her skin, as white as flawless jade, glistened translucently under the moonlight.

She was crystal clear.

Looking like this, she seemed so pure and flawless, driving him into a frenzy he had an uncontrollable urge to destroy!

"Nayeli, you are mine, only mine…"

Before the last syllable even dropped, Liam started to passionately claim her sweetness, as if recklessly trying to completely melt the two together...

The woman’s whimpers echoed in the dimly lit bedroom, finally quieting down after a long time.

Nayeli’s body went limp as she sank into the soft quilt. Listening to the man’s gradually steady breathing next to her, she silently got out of the bed.

A news notification flashed on the cellphone on the bedside table.

"[The CEO of Barry Group, Liam Barry, is to marry Jennifer Gill, the heiress of Gill Group, next month. Powerhouse alliance!]"

She quietly looked at the message for a long time before turning her gaze away. She reached for the pack of cigarettes on the dressing table, slid open the balcony door, and stood there, smoking.

She always liked to smoke after sex, but Liam did not approve.

So she always had to hide on the balcony.

When she was almost done with her cigarette, a sudden darkness enveloped her field of view. She instinctively looked up, straight into the man's pitch-black pupils.

"You're awake, did I disturb you?"

In just one second, she regained her composure.

"It's cold outside, come in."

The man took the cigarette from her hand and casually crushed it in the ashtray on the balcony's small table.

Nayeli remained silent and obediently let him guide her back into the bedroom.

She had been with Liam for over three years, when to say what, she had it down to a science.

She never showed her emotions on her face.

Just like now, even though her emotions were in turmoil, she remained composed.

She knew a day like this would inevitably come.

She also knew very well that she and Liam could never make it to the end.

She had always been prepared for this.

Liam, walking ahead, suddenly turned back to look at her. She gently reciprocated his gaze with a smile, "Isn't it time for you to head back home?"

According to tradition, he should be leaving.

He was a dutiful son who, no matter how late, would never stay overnight elsewhere.

Hence, she usually spent the latter half of the night alone.

Before waiting for Liam's response, she went to the coat rack to fetch his shirt and jacket. She returned to his side, helping him dress one piece at a time.

"Be careful on the road, also, regarding the BY contract, I placed it on your desk this afternoon. I'll be going to Meadrid tomorrow to discuss some details with Mr. Walton."

As Nayeli was standing on tiptoes to wrap the tie around his neck, she suddenly felt a tightening on her waist, followed by a low murmur from the man beside her.

"I'm not leaving tonight."

She froze, an eyebrow slightly raised.

It was unexpected, yet not surprising.

She laughed upwards at him, "Then I'll go prepare a bath for you."

Just as she turned to head toward the bathroom, she found herself tightly embraced and he wouldn't let her go.

"What's the matter? Not in the mood for a bath?" Nayeli smiled at him.

"Later."

"Alright, then later."

Nayeli allowed him to hold her good-naturedly.

They stayed in each other's arms for quite some time, and for some reason, the man's hand, looped around her waist, clenched even tighter. It almost squeezed the breath out of her.

"Mr. Barry..."

As she opened her mouth to speak, she was silenced by him before she could finish.

His familiar scent enveloped her. However, unlike before, his kiss became extremely domineering, to the point of suffocation.

Liam was odd today.

Even as brave and adept in bed as he was, it was rare for him to have such sex twice in one night.

He was always restrained, in his dealings with people, and even with sex.

He always gave off a faint sense of distance, neither familiar nor strange.

As the man's kiss fell on her neck, Nayeli slowly closed her eyes, allowing his breath to spread across every corner of her body.

It wasn't until Liam lifted her onto the bed that she opened her eyes and smiled softly at the handsome man before her.

Afterward, she hooked her arms around his neck, tilted her head back, and planted a kiss on his chin.

Later, they made love again without any hesitation.

Until the lust ceased, everything returned to calm.

Nayeli snuggled into the man's arms like a well-behaved little kitten.

"Nayeli..."

Liam's voice suddenly resonated above her.

"Hmm?" She responded lightly, her eyes half-closed.

His words abruptly ceased, silence lingering for quite a while. Just when Nayeli thought he'd fallen asleep, he suddenly spoke again.

"I'm getting married."

Nayeli's body stiffened, unsure of how to react. It took her a good few seconds to reply, "Okay, I understand."
