"Ever heard of Alexander greene?"
My boss slams a file on the desk, I glance at the file then back to him, "you mean the mafia king?" I raised a brow. I'm currently sitting in my boss's office with my phone in my hand and him standing on the other side of his desk close to the window. I'm 18 and a skilled fighter. I've been trained to be a good fighter. I used to hate training to kill, butI got used to it and I know I must do this. I recently concluded my training and now I'm here to receive my first mission.
My boss nods " He is one of the biggest mafia king in Europe, but stopped to be a family man, how pathetic " my boss roll his eyes before continuing " he is currently the governor of North Carolina, but stays in charlotte. " He said.
I think for a moment trying to recall the information, I know about thus mafia, " wasn't he the one that killed my father?" I say as I remember who was the reason for my dad's death. A few years back, there was a fuid between the mafia gang, my father's and uncle's against Alexander Greene's, he killed my father since that day I vowed to do everything to bring him down.
"What do I have to do" I asked with a blank but serious face. "Do I need to kill him?" I say.
"Yes in a way but no, take look at the file" I open the file in front of me and look through it. It basically has all the information we are talking about now but only one difference "who is the chick" I asked.
"That's your mission, that's Alexander's daughter Kaitlyn the heir to the mafia Kingdom, no one can go to the father unless through the son but in this case, it's a daughter , you would go under cover as an high school student"
" What I'm going back to school! ! ! " I exclaim in despair.
No. No. No. I don't want to. I quit school after my dad died at the age of 10, I was fully joined into this business. I was trained to be a mafia at that age but now I have to go to school and deal with high school drama. Great just Great.
I sigh in frustration as I have to do this to revenge my father's death.
"You will be starting next week, when the semester starts it's almost the end of summer break"
"So what am I supposed to do, do I get any assistance"
"Yah, in fact there us" my boss says "Derek" he calls out " that reminds me , you will go as Aiden not Xavier, got it?"
I'm not surprised, I had to go by a false name, in order not to risk my identity being known.
"Derek would guide you and help you along the way" my boss continues.
Derek is my oldest friend, older by a year. He is more than a friend. He's my brother. He was all I had when my dad died, he was there when I shut everyone out. He has known me since I was little, since then we have been inseparable, he always understood me even though I didn't voice out my feelings.
"What am I going to do when I find her " I asked glancing at the photo of the girl.
"Just get close to her, so we can get all the information we need , if you need to do something else I'll inform you " I nod again "be careful, cos if ur cover gets blown, he will surely kill you " he concluded.
" make sure this mission goes well, if not it'll be your last " my boss facial expression drop.
"Try not to do anything stupid, you're probably get yourself killed" Derek said with an eye roll.
"Dude!!!" I swag his arm " how could you say that" I yelled and abruptly stood up
"Uncle say something"
Yah my boss is my dad's younger brother. He may not trust me but he has no right to down grade me. I'm not weak and I'll prove it.
