"Hey, Violet, what is this about? Is this your new trick? Running away from home like a teen?"

Lera Hamilton said in a sarcastic tone as Violet Mayfair just walked downstairs with her luggage.

Violet didn't want to talk to Lera at all and glanced at Lera indifferently. She continued to carry her luggage downstairs.

Coincidentally, she met Swing Hamilton's mother on the first floor. Rosalyn Hamilton, the rich woman who had always looked down on her, was looking at her disdainfully. "It's so early in the morning. Where are you going with your luggage?"

Violet had been in the family for three years. She totally knew Rosalyn was going to give her a hard time when Rosalyn said like that.

Usually, Violet would apologize timidly and say something sweet to flatter Rosalyn. But it was not a usual day. Violet was leaving Swing. She couldn't care less about that grumpy old lady.

"I don't know, but you can rest assured, Mrs. Hamilton. Cause I won't come back to this house again."

Violet was no longer as gentle and respectful as she used to be. Her words were plain, and her tone was dry. Somehow, Violet looked more cool and cold.

Rosalyn was not used to her daughter-in-law, who had been cowhearted in the past, suddenly talking back to her like that. Her face suddenly darkened. "Is this how you talk to an elder?"

"Nope, but this is how you talk to me. How do you feel? Like it?"

She sneered and spoke. The arrogance in her tone riled Rosalyn angry. "Violet, I am your mother-in-law!"

Hearing that, Violet glanced at Rosalyn and then smiled. "Yeah, but you'll soon be not my mother-in-law."

As soon as she finished speaking, a car horn came from outside the villa.

Violet raised her eyebrows and said, "I'm leaving, Mrs. Hamilton. I don't want anything left in the room. You can do whatever you want to them. You can throw it away or burn it as you please. Just remember one thing. Don't contact me again in the future."

Violet lugged her luggage out slowly and said, "Your family sucks."

Rosalyn was actually thinking about what Violet said, and she then heard the next and quickly exploded. "Are you out of your mind?! Believe it or not, I'll tell this to Swing, and you'll..."

"Mom, did you see her? She is so ridiculous. Early in the morning with her luggage? Does she think I'll go to ask her to stay?"

Lera walked out of the villa and saw Rosalyn standing there motionlessly. She tugged Rosalyn's sleeve and said, "Mom, what's wrong with you?"

Rosalyn's expression was complicated. In the past, whenever she mentioned Swing, Violet would always give in. Yet Violet didn't care about Swing at all that day and left without looking back.

Outside the villa, a sports car drove away. When Rosalyn walked out of the gate, she only saw some smoke.

"She... gone?"

Lera followed Rosalyn out and curled her lips. "Whatever. Swing would kick her out if she stayed. Zoya is back, after all."

Rosalyn nodded. Zoya Almond, the youngest girl in the Almond family, was back. Violet was actually quite smart, for she left at the right time. If she could divorce Swing, it would be the best.

Violet, the smart girl, sat on the Porsche, flipping through the divorce agreement. After reading the contents of the agreement, she signed her name with satisfaction.

Jesse Buckley, who was driving the car, saw it and said, "Are you seriously doing this?"

Violet put on her pen away and said. "Or what?"

Zoya, the girl Swing truly loved, was back. Violet believed it was time for her to stop her wishful thinking.

It had been three years. Violet thought she could warm Swing's heart up. She thought she would get him eventually.

Yet it turned out that Swing didn't have a heart. He offered his heart to Zoya.

Violet knew she had done some shameless things. She used a favor to threaten Swing and make him marry her. Three years later, his beloved was back. She really had to scram. Nothing would be gained even if she stayed. Swing didn't even have sex with Violet during the three years.

Yes, she had been married to Swing for three years, but they never had sex.

Violet was lucky that it had been kept a secret. People were already laughing at her for being a gold digger. If they knew about it, they would probably laugh louder.

Three years was good enough. When Violet was young, Swing was her secret crush. And that kind feeling lasted for seven years in her heart. Now that Swing had been her husband for the past three, they were even.

She covered her eyes with her hands to prevent Jesse from seeing her tears.

She could be really tough, but she was a human being. Violet loved Swing for ten years, but now the divorce was all she had.

The red sports car stopped. Jesse pushed the sunglasses on her face and said, "Here we are. Vi, just go. I'm here for you!"

After saying that, Jesse threw Violet a kiss.

Violet looked at her and smiled. "Okay, I'm on the battlefield."

She was on the battlefield, and it was a tough battle, for she had to slam the divorce papers down in front of Swing coolly and gracefully.

Violet opened the car door and got out of the car with the agreement in her hand. It was not the first time that she had been to Ultima Group for three years. Of course, it was not the first time that the receptionist treated her rudely. "Ms. Mayfair, you can't meet with Mr. Hamilton if you don't have an appointment. Mr. Hamilton is very busy. If everyone just comes here and tells me they want to meet with him, what will it be like? I am here to stop those people, you know."

Even a receptionist could humiliate Violet like that. It had been three years, but the receptionist had never called Violet Mrs. Hamilton. Yet Violet didn't need to blame the receptionist. The origin was Swing.

Violet lowered her head and said with a chuckle, "Wow, as your boss' wife, I need an appointment to see him? Well, guess it's time to divorce him."

Violet took a cold look at the receptionist and walked straight to the elevator.

It was the first time the receptionist to see Violet like that. She was stunned for a moment and snorted when she realized what had happened. Then she called Swing's secretary for fear that she might need to take the blame.

Before Violet arrived, Swing knew that she was there.

He frowned and simply said, "I don't want to see her."

Five minutes later, he would have another short meeting.

The secretary replied and left. As soon as he came out of the office, he saw Violet walking over.

Violet wore a floral dress and looked gentle and dignified. Yet for some reason, when the secretary looked at her, he always felt that there was something different about Violet.

"Evry, hi."

Violet took the initiative to say hello. She then walked past Evry Norton and directly opened Swing's office door. "Excuse me, Mr. Hamilton. There is an agreement that you need to sign."

Under Swing's cold gaze, Violet walked to his desk and slammed the paper down, "Now, sign."
