"Melanie, don't tell me your reading one of those dumb romance filled novels"her friend, lisa said with a small frown on her face.
"Nope, this time am reading an entirely different one, but it doesn't mean that there isn't romance in it"Melanie laughed and lisa rolled her eyes.
"Okay, i will get a glass of orange juice for you"Lisa said and walked away.
"Okay, add ice to it!!!"Melanie yelled and dropped the book on the table before placing the remaining books in her shelf and smiled in content,staring at the 70+ novels that she has read
She went back to her seat and grabbed the book bearing the name THE DRAGON LORD'S DAUGHTER'.
She opened the book and immediately she did, bright light shon around the room including her eyes that, she had to close it.

Melanie opened her eyes to find herself in another world entirely, it was damn big and beautiful just like her imaginary castle.
She continued to admire it until someone tapped her.
"My princess,your father has been looking for you"A girl who had green hair with green eyes muttered with a bow.
"And who are you?"amor asked.
"Am fiona my princess and your father, my lord is calling you"fiona bowed
"Huh?,my father?"Melanie asked arching an eyebrow.
"My princess, i think you have forgoten that you were adopted by the dragon master, so your officialy his daughter"Fiona bowed and melanie scoffed.
"Who adopts an 18 years old, he might be a grumpy old man"Melanie said aloud and everyone stared at her with wide eyes.
If it was another person, the people around there would have beat the hell out of melanie but ofcourse, she is their lord's daughter. If she is punished then they would be killed by a snap.
"Please my princess, i will advice you to not talk about the lord in that manner or he would kill you, the lord has a terrible temper"Fiona paused
"Please my princess, give me your hand"Fiona said and melanie hesitated before slipping her hands into fiona's.
It felt like she was in a vampire movie where people can disappear and appear any time they want.
But melanie found herself in a beautiful garden,It was filled with a lot of beautiful flowers that made her think that she died and she was in heaven.
"Wow, what is this place?"Melanie asked admiring everything, there was a large might red and golden dragon in the middle of the garden, melanie found it amazing.
"Good day my lord, i have brought my princess"Fiona announced bowing slightly pointing at melanie who was still admiring the sculpture.
Then there was a cold silence, the silence made all the hairs in fiona's skin to stand out of fear and nervousness.
Melanie noticing the way the air has turned cold, she stopped admiring the sculptures and turned towards her fake father, immediately she did that, her breathe got stucked in her throat.

This guy was so hot, he had long red hair tied in a pony tail, red lips, red eyes that held fire in them. He was so hot that melanie was drooling and checking him out shamelessly. She thought that her fake dad was going to be an ugly old fat man but this guy was so young.
That really got a lot of questions in her mind, why will a very attractive guy like him wants an 18 years old daughter.
"Whatever, is very awesome to have a hot dad atleast"Melanie thought inwardly.
Lord drake glared at her for a moment before speaking icily.
"She is Not bad"He paused
"Don't tell me My lord don't like her, if he don't then am as good as dead because he will punish me badly"Fiona thought inwardly.
"But she is not the type i want"He added.
"Take her back to the orphanage"
Immediately melanie heard orphanage,an imaginary bell began to make loud noises inside her head...no...no.
"But my lord, with all due respect your majesty, she is the most beautiful among all"Fiona bowed fearfully rubbing her sweaty palms together.
A single glare from Lord drake made fiona to move back fearfully.
"Give me your hand my princess"Fiona said stretching out her hands to melanie who shook her head, she can't go to the orphanage.
Lord drake stood up and began to walk away but melanie ran in front of him blocking the way.
"I don't want to go back to the orphanage,i want to stay here..."Melanie paused folding her lips ina thin line.
"As your daughter"Melanie added putting on her best puppy eyes but he still looked unmoved.
Lord drake ignored her and walked away but ofcourse, melanie wasn't giving up, she ran towards him and ubstruct his way again.
"Please,i promise, i would show my usefulness here and will not cause trouble..please don't take me to the orphanage"Melanie begged and lord drake stared at her amusignly.
No one has ever dared to block his path or else he/she wants death.
Even fiona was suprised and also scared that he might kill her.
"Fiona"
"Yes my lord"Fiona bowed.
"Take her to the guest room"Lord drake said.
"What's your name?"He asked and melanie lowered her head "melanie"
Without a single word after that, he walked away.
"You should be lucky he didn't kill you"Fiona said and melanie looked around.
"Is this how he normally behaves?"Malanie asked and fiona sighed.
"He may look evil and icy but he has a loving heart, he saved us all"Fiona smiled as they disappeared again.
