It was the apocalypse!

Dark, ominous clouds filled the sky, accompanied by flashes of lightning and echoing thunder.

A helicopter weaved uncertainly through the dense cloud cover, buffeted by the torrential rain.

Inside, seven or eight people were seated.

"Captain, we're almost out of fuel. What should we do?"

"Let’s give up. The whole city is overrun by zombies. Where could we possibly escape?"

"Captain, why don't we just get bitten? After all, becoming a zombie means losing consciousness. We won't know anything, then it won't matter."

"Shut up!" Seele Haroldson, the captain, directed the gunfire at the hordes below, zombies stacked upon each other, roaring at the sky.

In the sea of flames, screams echoed all around. One wave of zombies would fall, only for another to stand promptly up in a never-ending cycle.

Black smoke began to billow from the helicopter's tail, and the aircraft began to plummet.

One of the more timid crewmembers was scared out of his wits. He ran to the cabin door, pushed it open, and parachuted.

However, he hadn't been in the air long before the zombies piled on top of him, tearing him apart in a gruesome scene. Seeing this, the rest of the crew, who had intended to jump, recoiled in fear.

"Captain, this won't work," implored one of the team members.

"Captain, what are you going to do?" a team member asked, staring at Seele in shock.

Seele's lips curved into a mysterious smile. "Are you afraid to die?"

The team members behind him instantly fell silent.

The silence was as suffocating as the night sky outside.

"Scared my ass! Ever since the day I joined you, I swore to die alongside you, Captain!" the bald man with the steel tooth laughed heartily and walked over to Seele.

"Captain, I've liked you for ages. I'm not afraid of anything, just afraid of leaving you. Dying together and becoming a ghostly couple wouldn't be too bad for me."

"I'm not scared either!"

"And me too!"

The team members bravely approached Seele one by one. They vociferously sand their team song as they tear up.

Seele bit a lollipop, directly throwing several heavyweight explosives towards them, "If I'm going to die, I'll bring these bastards along!"

The team members each took an explosive, swiftly attaching it to their bodies.

As the helicopter was about to crash into a mountain, parachutes appeared in the sky. Explosions resounded, filling the sky with mushroom-shaped clouds. Zombies screamed as they fell, stood up, and fell again...

Before closing his eyes, Seele swung her knife, chopping off the Zombie King's head.

The world was finally at peace!

...

In Zendalion, at the Bilford University in Nerolsem, a young lady lay prone on the desk, appearing to have fallen asleep.

However, the phone secretly placed on her lap under the desk was still lit up.

The index finger on the young girl's right hand was still pressing on the phone screen, unmoving.

"Seele, Seele!"

Her consciousness slowly returned as she felt someone shaking her. Instinctively, she grabbed the person's hand, stood up abruptly, and executed a shoulder throw, sending the person flying several meters.

"Gah!" The boy's painful scream echoed throughout the entire classroom.

There was an immediate uproar among the students.

"What's happening? Did Seele actually hit Henry? Isn't she supposed to like him the most?"

"Oh my God, did she lose her mind playing video games?"

"Henry, are you okay? That was a severe hit from Seele, that country girl."

"Steel Tooth, Giant, Kingo... " Seele's consciousness was still stuck in the zombie apocalypse. Instinctively calling out to her teammates, she glanced around. When she saw only living, breathing people, her brows furrowed deeply. This wasn't the apocalypse and not the world that was overrun by zombies. Before she detonated the explosives, the only living people she saw were her teammates.

"Who are you? Where am I?" Seele's cold eyes made it feel like she was interrogating a criminal despite merely asking a question.

Having been thrown by Seele, it took Henry Hiddleston a moment to find his voice through the pain. "Seele, are you insane? Who are we? We are your friends!"

With a wave of his hand, several boys standing beside him promptly surrounded Seele.

"Seele, Henry merely asked you to play a couple of games for him. What's got into you, throwing punches? Have you got tired of living?"

One of the tall boys immediately raised his fist and lunged at Seele.

Seele didn't dodge. Instead, she extended her hand and caught his large fist, squeezing hard. The sound of bones creaking filled the air, and the boy let out a howl, jumping in pain. Seele's brows furrowed, not at the boy, but at her delicate white hands. These weren't her hands. She remembered her hands as hardened from years of training in a mercenary squad. They were calloused and tanned.

Furthermore, her hands wouldn't be so weak. With her strength, the boy's hand should've been crushed. How was he still standing there, shaking his hand in pain?

Seele's mind raced as her eyes scanned the surroundings like a radar.

Memories that didn't belong to her continued to pour into her mind!

The original owner of this body happened to be named Seele as well, a college freshman who had a crush on Henry. To help Henry rank in the game, she had burned the midnight oil for several nights.

Just now, she suddenly died in this evening's self-study class because of playing the game too intensely!

So, she had been reborn into a young girl's body?

"What's all this noise during self-study?" A loud thud as something heavy hit the lectern. The classroom instantly fell silent. All the students hurried back to their seats. Even the young master, Henry, hobbled back to his seat beside Seele.

Even Henry, hobbled back to his seat next to Seele.

Only Seele remained unmoved. She stood at her desk with her sharp gaze fixed on the middle-aged woman on the podium, who was as stern as a demon. The head instructor was Laisha Lannister. She was 40 years old, unmarried, and a a typical strict professor.

Laisha didn't expect the normally compliant Seele to dare to glare at her like this today, and in a fit of anger, she smacked the podium several times, "Seele, what is going on?"

"Ms. Lannister, she just hit someone!" A girl with a secret crush on Henry raised her hand and tattled.

Upon hearing that Seele had actually dared to hit someone, Laisha's face darkened even more, "Seele, Seele, you are becoming more and more outrageous. Several subject teachers have complained to me about you. They said you never pay attention in class and would always play games. In the mid-term exam, you've already failed three subjects."

"You're a girl. Instead of focusing on your studies, you're chasing boys and getting into fights. Do you want to get expelled right after starting school?"

"I'm so angry. Call your parents immediately. I want to see what kind of parents raised such a worthless child!"

Laisha had suggested multiple times to the school to expel Seele.

After all, their institution was one of the top-ranked institutions in the country. Graduates from this school went on to become leaders in various fields. Even the least successful graduates usually ended up in well-paying professional jobs."

Now they've admitted a failure like Seele into their school. With her antics, wouldn’t she only disgrace their esteemed university when she left?

The whole class couldn't help but snicker quietly.

Henry scornfully glared at Seele. "What kind of parents would raise someone like you? Your mom probably married an idiot and gave birth to another idiot. Do you think you can pursue me with that shitty background? You even had the nerve to hit me. Believe it or not, I'll crush you."

Henry clenched his fist, making a crushing gesture.

Looking up, he saw Seele staring at him with cold, piercing eyes as if she could cut him to pieces with a glance.
