PROLOGUE

　　LUCY’S POV*

　　I’m waiting in front of the starbucks, I just ordered a french toast and a venti Café Mocha for me and kyle. cuz he’s still looking for a place to park.

　　"L-lucy?" I look at someone who calls me, its Maureen our classmate in highschool. "OMG! It's really you! I did not recognize you." She said cheerfully. "I've never seen you since we graduated highschool, its nice meeting you again" She smiled.

　　I smiled back. "Thanks."

　　"Can I have your number? So we can hangout if you have a time" she asked

　　"Yeah, sure." I gave her my number.

　　"Do you have a boyfriend?" She asked.

　　"Yeah, still remember Kyle?"

　　"OMG!" She looked amazed. "The famous handsome guy in the campus? Ugh! I will never forget him. Don't tell me--"

　　"Yeah, he is." I answered confidently.

　　"How?" she mad a puppy eyes.

　　"It's a long story, to make it short. he courted me for five months, I answered him when we graduated college as his college gift. It's also our anniversary" I smiled.

　　"That's so sweet, happy anniversary." She said, I thanked her.

　　"Love.' She look at her back.

　　"Sean?" I said confused.

　　"Oh, Lucy." He said

　　"You two know each other?" Maureen was the one now who’s confused

　　"Yeah, I was shocked that both of your are together.” Sean said.

　　"He’s my co-worker at the coffee shop then, that's why we knew each other." I explained.

　　"Oh okay, well I have to go. we might be late for the family reunion.” Maureen said, I just waved at them.

　　I jump when someone scared me. "What the heck!" I hit his shoulder. "That's not funny." I said when he laughed at me.

　　"Let's eat?" He asked and we sat down, he adjust my seat that made me blush.

　　Our order came so we started eating, I told him that I saw maureen and her boyfriend, then we talked about the happiest moments that we made.

　　"Do you still remember when I pushed you in the pool?" He said smirking.

　　"Ugh! Stoooop!" I said, That was the most embarrassing happened to me, My inner garments left floating in the pool, Good thing it’s just two of us at the pool.

　　After we ate, we went at the arcade to play some games

　　"Here, I'll get that one for you." He pointed at the Pikachu stuff toy inside the claw machine.

　　"Omg how'd you do that?" i asked surprised.

　　"Just with a little bit of luck and your love." He winked at me.

　　Then we took a picture, We asked some of the stuff to take us a photo, After the stuff took us a photo he point at the beautiful background, he’s telling me to go there, So I went there.

　　“Here?” I asked him, he nodded..

　　"Put your head up." I did what he told me to do. "Touch the skies, and smile." I extend my arms like touching the sky and smiled.

　　We take our photo together with love and happiness. I was shocked when he showed me a small box.

　　"Don't tell me it's too ear--"

　　"It's just a promise ring." He giggled and opened the box. "Promise me you won't leave me" He said, I nodded then he put the ring on my fingers. He gave me the other ring and I put the ring on his fingers.

　　"Promise me, that you will love me forever." I smiled and gave him a light kiss.

　　"How is it my Princess?" He offered his hand making his princess as if riding in a carriage even just in car.

　　"It's fun my Prince." I accept his hand and smiled.

　　He was driving, I'm getting bored because of the traffic. My phone died earlier. "Can I borrow your phone?" I asked him.

　　"W-why?" He said.

　　"I want to look at our pictures."

　　He quickly grabbed his phone like he’s hiding something.

　　"You have a password on your cellphone?" I asked him, I never seen him having password.

　　"W-we went out thats why I put on password" He smiled, but it looks like it’s force

　　There’s no connect that’s why I kept silent, I was in the middle of sliding left and right sa pictures when a message popped up.

　　Hey love, are you ready next month?

　　I don't want to see it because its his privacy but I'm getting suspicious of that name.

　　I read the text while he's driving, he doesn’t seem to notice me because he's focused on the road.

　　Why did you just read? You don't love me anymore? Are you with your girlfriend?

　　I erased the recent opened apps, halos masira ko cellphone niya sa pagkakalagay ko. I almost broke his phone."Hey, careful. I just bought that last month."

　　"Can you stop the car." I said, my voice almost trembled to stop myself from crying.

　　"Why? O-okay, I’ll just park the car"

　　I waited for him to park his car before I talk.

　　"What's wrong Princess?" He asked, I confronted him.

　　"Why are you crying? Do you--"

　　"Who's Niki?" I asked tearing up.

　　"I-it's my friend."

　　"Oh really?! All of this? All of this is a joke? Are you kidding me? What are you going to do next month?" I said bravely.

　　"I-its our--"

　　"What? Can you talk faster! You're wasting my time!"

　　"It's our wedding day, are you happy?" He said calmly.

　　I cried, My tears just started flowing. "Why? Why you're doing this to me? You're cheating on me?! How many years have you two been??"

　　"A-lmost three years." He said.

　　I cried again, I cried even more when he said that. Almost? ALMOST? So she’s the first.

　　"No! we're breaking up!!"

　　"N-no please." He started to tear up, " I love you more than her! I kept our relationship with my parents because they wanted to marry a girl that I didn't know, please. Don't leave me lucy. Y-you promised that you love me whatever happens please sta--"

　　"Then I don't!" I step out the car, I removed the promise ring that he gave me, I throw the ring to him.

　　"I-im sorry lucy, I couldn’t say it to you, I’m still finding the right time to tell you. please lucy don't leave me-"

　　"Enough is enough Kyle." I smiled bitterly. "T-till' we meet again" I slam the door hard and I run fast as I can till he can’t see me..
