“You’re late again.” Yuan chuckled and gave me a fist bump. He doesn’t know where I was yesterday so maybe I will not tell him where I went. I sighed as I saw our university principal walking towards our room. This is it again.
“Miss Fontalla, come over at my office after your dismissal.” She glanced at me and before I could make a reaction she turned around and walked out.
My classmates didn’t know what is going on. So am I. Yuan stared at me as if he wants to ask something? Am I the one who feels that this scenario is so awkward?
“Yu, I think I saw you yesterday,” I said while staring at the floor to avoid eye contact.
He began to walk towards the board and he wrote something. He started to write a letter “I” but our professor entered the room.
“Mr. Dela Llana, what are you doing there?” He asked with a straight face with no emotion at all.
“Good morning Sir, why are you late sir? Hehe”. The whole class laughing out so loud. Our professor smirked and rolled his eyes. Yu starts to walk quickly towards his chair.
“You jezzer!” I mouthed as I laugh at him.
“Miss Fontalla, get out now!” Mr. Vega shouted. Argh, here we go again.
“HAHAHA” Yu mouthed to me as he teases me the things that are not my fault though.
“You too, Mr. Dela Llana.” I ran as he shouted Yuan’s last name. I knew my classmates are laughing right now. Mr. Vega’s doing this again huh? I laughed out loud as I saw Yuan walking towards me.
“I told you that was busted.” He said while fixing his hair.
“Wanna eat?” I asked.
“Already?” He replied.
“Ya----“He grabbed my hands and I let him pull me wherever he wanted. He’s crazy. He always is.
I feel like I felt this hand already but where and when? I noticed that there’s no one here in the cafeteria. DUH. That Vega! I hate him so much.
“What do you want to eat?” You asked and started to look at the menu.
“You’re my best friend, right?” I asked staring at the ceiling, I’m not myself today.
“Yup.” He nodded and he starts walking to the food stall. I left dumbfounded and what the heck is happening to me. Of course, he’s my best friend, why would I ask him repeatedly? After eating, I went inside the classroom and remind myself that I have to go Principal’s office later. What is it this time?
“Class dismissed.” After a long discussion, I get my bag and left it in my locker.
I immediately went to the principal’s office. I am about to knock but someone taps my shoulder. I jumped to shock but it was our principal.
“You should come in.” She said with authority.
“Thanks,” I replied. I sat and stare at her.
“I have my reason for you, being here.” She spoke. She wants me to do something. I hate this school for some reason though.
“What is it, Miss?” I asked out of the blue. I want to know what is going on here. What’s in her mind?
“I want to announce that you’re my daughter.” I was shocked and can’t move to my place.
I want to run but I don’t want to disrespect her. She should have never brought it back again. This brings back all the nightmares I have been.
