There is a deafening silence inside the hall other than his heavy breathing. He pressed the wound on his chest and tried to move towards the room where she is. He had already have a few deep wounds on him from which blood is oozing out. He went near the decorated table and using the decoration clothes he tried to bandage his wounds to stop bleeding. He have to live until he make sure that she is out of danger.

Once he stopped the bleeding he tried to move towards the room, but his legs gave away. There is not much strength left in his body. He tried to move but tripped on something. It is a hand of a dead body. He fell down to the floor and couldn’t stand. He felt dizzy by losing too much blood. He pressed on his wound and the pain shoot up. He groaned in pain but the intense pain helped him clear his mind a little bit. Je gritted his teeth and crawled towards the room where she is.

The dim light and blurred vision didn’t help him to move forward with his weak body. He saw something shining in the moonlight. It is a ring. The wedding ring he gave her. He tried to rub his eyes and try to get a clear look. Yes It is her. She is wearing their wedding ring. A smile crept in to his face. So it is her but why she is out side the room? Did she got hurt too? Why her hand in not moving.

He crawled toward her as much fast as he could in this state. Once he reached almost near he couldn’t move further because he lost his strength. He tried to touch her hand. The hand with their wedding ring on. Je always want her to wear it but...... Now after all this years when she wear it, it become his last day. Je smiled sadly and tried to move to hold her hand.

“ A...c... A...c...E......” He could hear her heavy breathing and she is trying to call him.

He want to shout that he is here. Just near her but they both couldn’t see each other. He managed move a little more. While he is trying to move forward just to touch her may be one last time, just to hold those hands with wedding ring on, he didn’t notice some people are rushing towards them. Just before they reached them he managed to catch her hand, he just touched the ring finger with his trembling hands.

“ hey look this girl here had some life left on her. Try to help her out.” A sound came from her side. May the people who came to rescue them.

“ Oh no. This is Melinda Madam. Madam please open your eyes. Madam.” A girl screamed.

“ A...A...” Even between these shouts and screams he can hear that beautiful voice whispering his name.

“ Oh my God she is in a serious stage. Take her to hospital.” A male voice shouted.

Some people took her front there, Ace who just touched her finger after great difficulty lost the touch, he saw some people taking her away and shouting for ambulance. He couldn’t see her face or anything , all he could see that the bright diamond ring shining in her finger. The ring he designed with his heart. The ring she said, she will wear only the day when he will get her forgiveness.

“ Melinda , my love, you wear my ring, you forgave me but I couldn’t complete my promise to live a happy life with you. If I get a second chance I will make sure to complete all my promises. I will make sure to love you more, I will make sure there is no more misunderstanding, I will make sure to live a long happy life with you. If I get a second chance I won’t hide my love for you.” Ace thought in his mind before his vision blacked out and all voices around him came to a sudden stop. He fell in to the dark silent pit.

Melinda was in her room when she heard the noises from out side. She didn’t want to sit still and hide there like a coward. She took the gun once he gifted and always she had with her, she get out of the room to find Ace. But she couldn’t find him in the darkness. There is a big fight going on there. She successfully killed two of them , bit they successfully hurt her too. May be after a long fight everything calmed down. She already lost a lot of blood and couldn’t move an inch. Her beautiful white gown now dyed red in her blood. She tried to call him. May be he is some where around. May be he is searching for her. She tried to shout his name but only broken letters in slight whispers came out.

She wanted to move but couldn’t. She wanted to shout but couldn’t. She cried miserably. Today she found out what heartache is. It took ten years for her to forgive him. Today she want to confess her feelings towards him, even if he accept or reject, she want to tell the whole world that she Melinda Wilson is now madly in love with Ace Williams and want to be Mrs. Ace Williams for the rest of her life but sadly her life ended before she could say all this.

“ Ace I am sorry. I am sorry for misunderstanding you. I am sorry for hating you. If I got a chance I will rectify the mistakes I made and punish those people for what they did with us.” She said in her heart.

She felt a slight touch on her ring finger. The familiar warmth filled her heart. She know it is Ace but she couldn’t see him. She want to shout his name but she couldn’t. Some one came before she could do anything and took her to somewhere. She tried to search for her husband but they took her away. She slowly lost her consciousness and fell in to darkness.
