In a presidential suite…
A carefully orchestrated plan was about to unfold.
In the softly lit room, Susan Warren perched on the edge of the bed, her arms tightly wrapped around herself as a shiver coursed through her.
The door creaked open, and Cedric Reid's imposing figure strode in. He fumbled for the light switch, only to discover that the lights were mysteriously out.
Susan caught her breath as she rose from the bed, nervously encircling Cedric's neck with her quivering arms. Standing on her tiptoes, she hesitated before planting a delicate, cautious kiss on his cheek.
Suddenly, and without warning, Cedric's commanding hand gripped the back of her head, leaving her uncertain about what was to happen next.
Before she could retreat, his lips, tinged with the scent of strong alcohol, decisively captured hers in darkness.
"Hmm," she murmured, muffled by the kiss.
Her thoughts, at that second, evaporated into thin air.
His unfamiliar yet crisp fragrance invaded her senses.
His assertive, intense kiss swept away her mind and breath, leaving her feeling lightheaded and overwhelmed. He pressed her body firmly onto the bed, his kiss enveloping her in a passionate embrace.
What unfolded next was unmistakable.
In the darkness, tears trickled down her cheeks.
......
Two nights ago, within the confines of the hospital's corridors…
Susan tightly gripped George Warren's arm. Her eyes were brimming with tears as she pleaded, "Dad, please, save Mom. I beg you; she's in critical condition."
George, with an air of cold detachment, attempted to free his arm from Susan's grasp. "Your mother is not going to survive," he uttered.
"But she can be saved. The doctor mentioned the surgery costs only one million dollars. Dad, please, help us," Susan implored, her face soaked with tears.
George, clenching his teeth, drew Susan nearer and gazed into her tear-filled eyes. Lowering his head, he spoke with a stern tone, "Susan, if you want me to save your mother, you have to promise me something."
"Anything, Dad. I promise," Susan replied, willing to agree to whatever it took to save her mother's life.
"I know you're a good child, and I assume you're aware of your sister's engagement to the heir of the Reid Group," George continued.
Susan blinked her clear, innocent eyes, unsure of her father's intention. Choking back tears, she nodded and said, "Yes, I am aware of that."
"Mr. Reid has a preference for certain qualities. A virgin, I mean. But, your sister is no longer eligible. I want you to take her place and offer yourself to him," George instructed.
Trembling with fear, Susan looked up at her father, her eyes filled with desperation. "Dad, please, no," she pleaded.
George, maintaining a cold demeanor, tightened his grip on her hand and spoke in a low voice, "If you agree, I will provide the money for the surgery immediately. In three days, there might still be a chance to save your mother."
Anxiety flickered in Susan's eyes as she took a deep breath and said, "Okay, I will do it."
