HIt was drizzling outside, letting the cool wind to sway past my face every now and then. Every time it touched my body, shiver ran down my spine.

I looked through the glass walls at the front of the coffee shop. The weather was incredulously beautiful outside, creating cold, cozy ambiance inside the cafe. Drops of drizzles were slithering down the tree leaves and rain droplets, clung on to the glass, were creating unusual patterns on the walls.

The cafe had wind-chimes hung near the windows that swung back and forth, producing sweet melancholic sound with the rain. And, the colorful lanterns above the tables spread warm light across the room.

I heaved a sigh and started reading the book, "The Unexpected Guest by Agatha Christie" that had been…

Thanks! By the way, you look lovely in that floral top."- I greeted her as she was retreating back.

Ever since the cafe opened about seven months ago, Brianne and I chilled there every weekend until she left for Paris for a month. It was an elegant looking bracelet with medium-sized white stones encircling it. I couldn 't help but smile. Leave it to my friend to always surprise me with pleasant things.

"Wear it. I want to see how it looks on you. It 's a Swarovski bracelet." Bri said cheerfully while pulling my hand towards her.

I stared at my wrist. Indeed, it looked pretty. Brianne really had classy tastes on jewelry. I was about to thank her for her gift when the phone buzzed in my pocket. I frowned as I saw the unknown number on the
