Morning 4 30 am.... Anjali was standing infront of the gaint black gate since yesterday evening inspite of rain.
The gate opened revealing MAYA and a women who was holding an umbrella FOR MAYA.
"MAYA ....U know me well ...we are friends right please you belive me I didn't kill grand pa. I did not know why DIVYA gave statement against me...but I did not kill him " ANJALI cried kneeling down.
" Ya I know..." she said casually...
" THANK YOU...atleast you are believing me
anjali cried with a smile
But how and why do you belive me ..do you have any evidence to prove me " Anjali asked with a hope.
MAYA gave a creepy smile...and started moving from there into the garden on the right.
" MAYA...MAYA.." ANJALI shouted and followed her..the guards did not allow her in...
MAYA Clapped her hands and asked them to allow ANJALI in... ANJALI smiled painfully how these guards used to bow their head to her back then...
Now they are not allowing her in...
MAYA went near the pool and stood there... It was completely dark and the skies are welcoming ANJALI to her end with a roaring thunder....
" MAYA... do u have any evidence in favour of me.."
She laughed like a evil and said " NO "
" then how you know, that I am not the killer.."
As the rain stopped MAYA showed her hand to the lady with umbrella to leave and then said " because I killed him in my own hand and also I was the one who added seduce to your tea and made you unconscious "
" M...MAYA..YOU " ANJALI said in a broken voice...
" ya...I am... in every plan of mine he stood like a barrier and protected you , so I decided to kill him and make You the killer... I very well know that other than him no one is gonna belive you and when he is no more who is gonna belive you.. my dear"
" What is mean by all your plans.." ANJALI asked
" wow... atleast now your useless brain is working with a question !! impressed.. mmmm... all my plans means ... mmm...means what so far bad happened in your life after marriage is my plan.."
ANJALI was completely shocked...
" I don't remember everything ANJALI but I was the one who killed your baby in your womb and made everyone belive that you aborted the baby wantedly... then ...I was the one who faked the DNA report and made your birth as an illegitimate one... mmmm ... then... ya ..moreover the gas accident in my house after you went meeting me is by me and made everyone belive that you tried to kill me... hiii... I am finding hard to recollect yaa...sorry " MAYA said with a smile folding her hand across the chest.
" why ...??". Anjali shouted
" For my life that I am living with VIKRAM... do you know he said ' the last face he wish to see before death was me and the face that he disgust the most is you..' "
" disgust.." Anjali said under her breath and touched the right side of her face which was completely full of burns from the fire accident..
" then Are you the one behind VIKRAM kidnap two years back... "
" No...I did not plan it against you but it was by God...Do you know what is more interesting???? Actually you are the one who risked your life and put VIKRAM out of the burning building but you got trapped in and injured. Everyone believed that I was the one who saved him and you are the one who was the reason for kidnap...." MAYA said
Anjali was completely shocked. She wiped the her tears and started to head towards house.
"Where are you going my friend ...??? " MAYA asked giggling
" I am gonna tell them.. " ANJALI said as she walked further
" Already you did tell them ' I did not abort the baby...I did not kill grand pa please...please belive me...' did they belive you...no right .they will belive MAYA and not ANJALI.. "
ANJALI walked back to MAYA ..." Why...why did you do all this ?? instead you could have killed me in the first place right before the marriage ... you very well know that VIKRAM married me under the compulsion of grand pa.."
" ya.... if I killed you then , they would have felt pity on you forever.. and then VIKRAM was neither interested in me nor you . I want him to hate you as much as possible so that I can turn all his hatred into love towards me.."
" you have won... congrats... I am the fool who thought you as a good friend " ANJALI Said in a broken voice.
" No I am a good friend that's why I am telling you all the truth before killing you.." saying she took her gun and pointed it towards ANJALI head.
ANJALI Sighed with a smile " I have no reason to ask you to spare me or to live my rest of life,but I need a justice please..please .... atleast tell them I did not kill grandpa .... he wished me to live happily so please I am not wishing to die as a killer who killed him..please MAYA " she cried joining her hands.
" Sorrry... your wish cannot be fulfilled "
ANJALI grabbed the gun from her and towards MAYA... "I am already a killer now it will not make any difference if I will you "
" but you can't do that ANJU ... Because you are not MAYA.." she said in a low casual tone.
ANJALI cried helplessly. She cannot kill one who she trusted in her life and MAYA is the one and only love of her love VIKRAM. He has divorced ANJALI immediately after grandpa death and married MAYA...
Suddenly MAYA shouted.." ANJALI..even if you kill me I will not leave VIKRAM... I will better die as his wife shoot me.... but remember your making mistakes again and again.."
Before ANJALI could recognize why she is shouting . She heard a gun shot which coincided with thunder... she put the gun down due to the sudden sound.
ANJALI closed her eyes for a fraction of second and then turned towards the side of gun shot to find VIKRAM with a gun.
ANJALI decided to make a last try... she ran towards VIKRAM shouting " VIKRAM ,,,MAYA is the one who killed grandpa belive me.. she told it from her mouth"
VIKRAM started to walk towards her she joined her hands and kneeled down " VIKRAM..PLEASE..VIKRAM belive me "
But what shocked her was VIKRAM walked towards MAYA by passing into her.
ANJALI was completely shocked... she saw MAYA who was crying seeing the pool and vikram hugged MAYA and was checking on her...
ANJALI walked forward to the pool she saw herself lying in pool with gun shot in her head.
Vikram shot her because she may hurt MAYA his love...
ANJALI shouted " VIKRAM why did you do this...?? " and bet him but he could not feel her touch. Anjali ..sorry her soul kneeled and cried in the garden.
Soon everyone from the house rushed to the garden ....
No one in the house shed even a single drop of tear.they cursed ANJALI even after death
' she deserves a death worse than this '
'Vikram you should have done this earlier' one said...
' she is not at a women she killed her own child even grandpa '
Anjali soul closed its ears and eyes tight. it again started to rain but it did not drench ANJALI...
Two guards took ANJALI body out from water and laid it in garden. MAYA touched the body and cried badly. She closed the eyes of body with her inner voice... ' I am sorry ANJU... I spoiled your life and also say to NALINI that I am sorry for killing her and making it as a gang rape... REST IN PEACE.. '
ANJALI soul can hear MAYA 's inner voice ... she did not expect this ...NALINI was one innocent girl and a friend of ANJALI who believed ANJALI in everything . she even tried to prove that ANJALI did not kidnap VIKRAM but was killed by MAYA...
VIKRAM asked the guards to dispose her body anyway No one is gonna ask... why did you kill her or gonna get justice for her. He did not even look at her body nor had tears...
Everyone left from there. Anjali stood there ...she did not know what to do but she know she is dead...she did not want to revenge her death.. she did not feel pity on her ...instead she felt bad for what happened to her baby in womb ,NALINI AND GRAND PA . They died just because of her . She still doubt whether MAYA killed only these three or much more for selfishness.
There is a small statue of God in the garden. She went and stood in front of the statue.
' What are you gonna do next to me.... what should I do now... I am happy that I am dead because no one will see me with the disgust look they use to give me. I Don't want justice for my death afterall I was killed by my own husband whom I valued the most. But I need the justice for the ones who died as they took my side. Please give an answer to me. '
There was no reply... there won't be any reply...
' you did not answer for my tears when I was alive... how will you answer it now???. Atleast show a way to destroy my soul....I cannot take this pain. See the guards are burning my body and they will dispose it without any trace. The rain is not touching me.... the fire is not burning me... but my inner soul is killing me please...please destroy me...'she cried closing her eyes .A thunder strikes in the sky.
When she opened her eyes to find everything was frozen in time. Yes the time frozen at the same second. she walked into the house everyone were frozen as they are at that moment .
She saw VIKRAM standing frozen in an passionate kiss with MAYA in their room... ANLJALI shut her eyes in pain. As everything is frozen a butterfly flew infront of her . it flew out of the room she followed it .
Anjali saw a bright light at a distance and the butterfly flew towards it. she started to walk towards it .
She found much more difficult to see as she walked towards it . As the butterfly flew in it turned into ash. ANJALI's eye widened at the sight of it but her heart said her to step forward .
She closed her eyes there is no good memories nor any smiling faces that appeared to her memory it's only the last thing that she saw VIKRAM kissing MAYA came..she realized the only mistake of her life was to love him... she shut her eyes tight without any hesitation she walked into the light to destroy her soul...
But this is not the end its the begining of her life....
Suddenly the burning sensation stopped and she opened her eyes slowly she found herself in the room where she saw VIKRAM few mins ago and VIKRAM sleeping next to her facing her. She was completely naked she covered herself completely in duvet.
She slowly looked around the room there is much changes in the room from that she saw before. It was decorated nicely. VIKRAM slowly stirred from sleep when she was looking at the room like a alien .
Her gaze fell on him when he was already glaring her. He can't see her that is what she thought. So she too saw the sight he was glaring that is nothing but window.
" why is he glaring the window like a bull ??" She blurtted her heart out as he will not hear her.
" I am not a fool like you to glare at the window I am glaring you.. and how dare you say me a bull"
" what !!! can you see me..??? ".
" what ???why can't I.. I have good vision"
