I'm still at the court, waiting for my turn to speak out, as a defense my work isn't easy especially when you're not serious and intelligent enough. You must know how to handle some cases and know how the prosecutor hold the court. You need to be more brainey or more intelligent than the prosecutor or the other member of the opponent or else you'll lose.
I'm sitting on my seat as I still watching the prosecutor keep on asking and forcing the accused to answer and tell to everyone his mistakes. Im pissed because of the words that the defense keep on telling out. He's forcing the accused to the things didn't mean it to do or he didn't do.
I creassed my forehead as I leaning on the backrest of the chair. Still watching and analyzing the situation. This is the last day of verdict and I should do my best to plea my client not guilty and save him from suffering. He didn't do anything wrong against the law or should say he was innocent that's why I keep on fighting for him. This is not only my job or for myself just to prove that I'm a good lawyer but for my client who's not doing anything or whom innocent. I know how the goverment and the life unfair sometimes so I need to help him.
He was the accused but he's also the victim here so he didn't deserve to be imprisoned. I deeply sigh as I heard the audince from the oppenent murmuring their own opinion, own perspective and sayings against the accused that are not evetually true.
After the accused, the judge called his boyfriend. His boyfriend would be the witness. I pats his back then smile forcely to calm him and lift him up and to motivates him. He held Yvo's hand

before going to the witness stand. He stood up and sit on the witness stand after he promise to tell the truth nothing but the truth.
He gulped before looking at Yvo, he was so nervous and shaking but for the sake of his boyfriend he will do anything about him.
Zaiden clenched his fist after hearing some harm words came out from the prosecutor's mouth. The prosecutor was so much determined to win this case because this is one of the huge cases we both handled. This is not only about the case of murder but the case of having unfair or unequal treatment to LGBTQ.
" His father molested him! He raped him!He hurted boyfriend! Why?Because he was gay? he love same gender as him?Huh!?They treated him so unfair!They respect him!He was a human too not an animal to abuse! Yvo was a human not like his father who's an animal-like!" Zaiden madly explained as he's face become reddened in anger. I noodded when I saw the witness protecting my client. How right he is.
"So, because of that why he killed his own father?' the prosecutor asked, smirking on him. I shook my head in disbelief.
Zaiden looks at Yvo with teary eyes as his breathing become more fast and hard. "H-he didn't mean it....It's only a s-self defense." he uttered.
"So.." he halted for a second and looks at me visciously. "You are admitting the crime?That your boyfriend Yvo" he points his finger on Yvo before looking back at him. " killed his own father?"
A smiled form on his lips while asking those words towards Zaiden. Tss.."His father wants to rape him!" he painfully shouts. I saw on his eyes the pain as he looks at his boyfriend but he still being strong just for him.
Silence.....but a second audience insude the court laugh like he was joking. Fuck this cruel society!They only know how to judge people but they don't know how to appreciate them as a human!.
"Raped?He's not a girl to be raped, silly." the prosecutor said that was not right. Damn! "And how he will raped his own son huh?This is the first case I encountered." he shakes his head and looks at everyone in this belief. "He really killed him, okay? He planned to killed him or you both planned it?" the prosecutor squinted his eyes, scanning Zaiden's reaction.
"No, Why don't you believe me!?Why so unfair!? Is only a girl can raped by someone!Fuck stupid!" he angrily shout then thumped the desk with his hand.
""OBJECTION YOUR HONOR!The prosecutor didn't think wisely that the man could also be rape" I stood up then shout. "He's being unfair about the things in this world!" I defended.
"Change your statement." Judge said. "Prosecution proceed"
"Let's go back to my previous question, did he killed his father?"
"It was j-just a self defens—" the prosecutor halted him.
"Did he killed his father?" the prosecutor asked.
"OBJECTION YOUR HONOR !" I said again, "the Prosecutor traumatizing the witness"
"Objection overruled" the judge said, "Prosecution,proceed again".
"Did he killed?Yes or no"
"Shut up!It's only was a self-def—" he cutted him again.
He just looks down, a tears forming in his eyes.His jaw clenched as he looks at the prosecutor.
"Its just a simple question!Yes or No!" the prosecutor asked again in a loud voice.
The atmosphere in the court change and becomes hot and hard. They both attempting to do something towards the prosecutor.
"How many times I told you that he didn't mean it!?" he shouted again slowly losing his restraint.
"Just say YES or NO!"
"H-he d-did b-but it was just a self d-defense"
"He did? That's it, it's a yes." The prosecutor looks at me, smirking playfully before gazing at the judge. I smirked back and gives him a death glare but I'm full confident that we will win in this case because it has many hole in all evidences and question that the prosecutor give to the judges and asked to the defendant and witnesses.
"Your honor and all the people here in the court, as you witnessed that the accused boyfriend admitting the crime. That HIS boyfriend KILLED his own father." he said and Yvo's boyfriend eyes turned into a bigger as Yvo startled.
What the fuck...
A loud noise.
"He said that it was all self-defense but base on the other witnesses said that it was all planned and intentionally because of their dispute and the all evidence that presented.So he's plea guilty. I rested my case." he said then glance at me again smiling like a fucking idiot! before going back to his seat.
All the people in the audience started to speak out their opinion again as I hold the accused hand and tell that just to trust.
After the judge and higher ups reviewed all the evidences and witnesses statement they created a final decision.
"Will the jury foreperson please stand?Has the jury reached a unanimous verdict?" the judge.
I was chilling because I know we will win in this case. First, the case was not a murder but a homicide. Second, since we have some evidence such a medical evidences that tell that the accused raped by his father and it was only a self-defense. This is not planned but he just save himself from his father who enumerously molested and harrassing him since he was a kid. He learned to be strong and stand by own because of his boyfriend that helps him and lift him up.
We all stood up and got quiet while waiting the verdict. I crossed my arms as I looks at the clerk waiting for her answer.
"Yes your honor" the foreperson answered.." the jury finds that the defendant...."
I felt my cliet sigh deeply as his boyfriend holding his hand. They all widened their eyes due to what the foreperson said.
"NOT GUILTY!"
Yvo and Zaiden hugged each other while the tears continously falling on their eyes due to the happiness they are feeling right not. I smiled in happinnes because I won in this case and fight for the rights of my client. I pats their should while looking at them feeling a cloud nine.
"Thank you, Atty. Zaine Luna Azriel." a simple words that came out from Yvo's mouth then hugged me so tightly. I pats his back then blurted. "welcome you deserve it, you can go now and do everything you want. Stay strong for the both of you" I then parted to our hugged.
I greeted Zaiden then after that I turned around and walks away. "Congrats, Atty. Azriel you won" the Atty. Elijah Velazques. "Thank you, Atty. Velazques you watched my case huh." I then looks at him. "Not you, don't assume." I rolled ny eyes after hearing that words then leave him alone. While I'm walking away from him I still heard his laughs that teases me and makes me irritated.
