Introduction
Meilan isn't your typical friend or family member, what lies under her expressionless face is something you'd never expect to know. The doctor had already been dubbed as someone else, but Paul knew it was all the same person, no matter the actions and personality they would give and express to everyone they meet. She didn't do it on purpose nor did it have to happen at all.

The words on the monitor laid lifeless in front of Paul. The folder he opened only contained these... But there was more that he knew was in it.

"Paul..." A whine came from behind him. Turning around from his chair, he tiredly stared with an ever-growing frown of his workmate, Chris.

"Paul, you need to rest. You've been bugging with that hidden bomb ridden piece of junk since morning." Chris said while making a round inside the office. Stopping beside Paul's desk, he gave a look of concern towards his friend who paid no mind to it.

"You don't get it, Chris. It's... It's very important to me!" Paul said, stammering at a few words when impulsion suddenly ran through his tongue and jibbering hands. Chris sighed, sitting down on Paul's desk, he crossed his arms after fixing his glasses before he said, "Paul, you need to rest. Trying to figure this thing out is like... For professional hackers only! And you're just an investigator, Paul, we're both just investigators."

Paul gritted his teeth before calming back down from his sudden anger.

"I know that... Chris..." He mumbled while glancing back to the monitor.

"I just... Don't have the time to find myself a 'hacker' to do this job. And I don't think a hacker might help me do the job." He continued, fiddling with the mouse before taking his hands away from his desk and unto his lap. Chris hummed.

"I'll get you, someone, to do the job then." He suggested.

Paul chuckled before he said, "there's no way you can."

  He didn't believe him.

"Are you doubting me?? You're friend?" Chris snickered. Paul threw a fit of laughter at his statement, patting his lap a few times before he said, "it's not that I don't trust you, it's just that I don't think the boss would like that. He doesn't trust hackers y'now, he also doesn't believe in hackers using their talent and power to do the good."

  Chris smiled.

"I know... But I've known this guy for quite a while, I'm sure he can help us with this, Paul. Trust me on this will you??" He said. Paul shrugged.

"Alright, I trust you." He said. Chris huffed, hopping back down from Paul's desk, he patted Paul by the shoulder before he said, "alright, Paul, you should go by now. I heard the rain can get much stronger later."

  Paul shot up.

"Ah crap! I'd be late for me and my wife's anniversary!" He stammered as he rushed to yank his coat and umbrella. Chris smiled with a raised brow before leaving his friend for his own duties. Paul rushed over to a few documents, rearranging them back to the side and under his desk before rushing over to the computer. Pressing keys fast, he was really hurrying it as fast as he could. That's when an accident happened.

"What the..?" He mumbled in confusion when the screen suddenly displayed blue in it. The whole screen was only blue for around ten seconds before it suddenly glitched and he was sent into a weird-looking website that had only one thing in it. Enter password please.

"Password..?" He mumbled before trying to guess once. Of course, it would be wrong, but he got himself a hint out of it. 'What is the experiment called?' Paul's eyes widened. Was it finally this? Had he actually finally cracked it? Rushing back over to the documents he placed away. There it was, Experiment 33015/MEI.

"Experiment 33015/MEI..." He repeated to himself while typing. Pressing Enter, his excitement was greeted by joy when it granted him access. It was another folder. Opening it, he was met with words like before again.

  Experiment 33015/MEI;

  3/27/200X

"Entry 193, me and Dr. Remier have gotten in good terms after she fixed the accident I caused."

"Entry 201, miners in an underground expedition found an old black colored briefcase while mining for the new science lab for animal testing. Dr. Remier took priority on it and investigated."

"Entry 203, Dr. Remier suddenly changed. She's been acting more hostile and serious than before, she's always been serious but now she's just emotionless and physically aggressive when pursued. I don't think it's her anymore now too."

"Entry 208, me and Dr. Remier have begun the first experiment yet. She called it the Cloning Experiment."

  3/28/201X

"Entry 300, it worked. The cloning worked! I don't know how but now Dr. Remier has a clone of herself now. The clone was lifeless while it was inside the large tube but it had life for sure."

"Entry 301, I felt good that it worked, but then Dr. Remier said, it worked. It actually worked. I never knew I was this special, I've been a lost one for a long time and I've been found just now, huh. When I called her to ask if she was ok, she snapped at me with a wide grin and she said, my name is Meilan."

"Entry 324, I don't know why I did it, but I did it. I shot her. In the head. I swear I didn't mean it, she was getting terrifying. Saying all those weird supernatural and religion-related words. She said she was a part of an occult, she said she was a masterpiece, she said she had an accidental amnesia and now she has her memories back now. She said the whole world was now going to die because of me."

  3/29/201X

"Entry 665, it's been only a day after I shot her. Nobody knew. Nobody else was there than the two of us. She was deemed missing and people were out looking for her."

"Entry 673, my workmate and partner is a handsome one. She has eyes that can attract you to stare at her, she has the voice of someone a person would want to listen to forever. She's the best of the best, but I killed her."

"Entry 710, I think I'm going mad. I buried her along with her clone, under the dirt, and behind the closed doors of my own backyard, I checked the security camera on my phone and saw that my backyard was undisturbed but she stood on the grass before walking with the same white coat."
