Emilia POV

There are different kinds of secrets. A secret that you would want to keep forever, a secret that you can only tell to your closest friends, and there is a secret that only you and your diary can know!

Breaking the third rule of my friendship rules, a rule never to keep anything from my friends. I kept a really huge secret from my closest friends.

Not just a secret, but a secret that can destroy our relationship, harm me or harm my friends

Spare me! I chose what will favour me! It's either I keep the secret and save my relationship, or I tell them everything and lose my relationship

Break one, retain one!

I broke the third rule and saved my relationship!

Perhaps it's safe to say that I'm someone who'd readily sacrifice anything and everything in order to save her relationship!

Spare me! Do not bash me!

Done brushing my hair, I packed the brown messy thing in a ponytail before I swung my backpack on.

I checked myself again in the mirror, my lips permed together just for the little lip gloss on my lips to be moderate. I blinked my eyes several times like a runaway model.

Satisfied with my look, I gave out a toothy grin before I sauntered out of my room, descending the spiral staircase

"You're done!" Tori grinned at me, her eyes roving my face as she arched her perfectly shaped brow. "Am I missing out on something?" She inquired further

Victoria, or rather Tori as I preferred calling her, is a worker here in my Dad's mansion. She's been working with me for more than four years, and that made her a sister I never had, and a mother that just recently passed away

Tori knows almost everything about me, but then, she too never knows whatever secret I am hiding!

"You're not," I said coolly with a roll of my eyes. Of course, I'm not ready to tell her why I've been so keen on looking good

"This has been happening for some months now," Tori mumbled. She moved away from me and walked towards the dining table. "The Layla I know was never the one who always dote her face"

I palmed my face softly, trying to smoothing it. "Something is better left unsaid." I said. And as soon as the word left my mouth, the door flew opened, and my two friends rushed in

"Not again!" Tori growled. With the corner side of my eyes, I saw her casted a dangerous glare at the two guys that just made their way in. "Show some manners, will you?"

"Oh, not really, Tori" said the deep masculine voice that almost rendered me lifeless.

God knows how hard I tried to stop this stupid heart of mine to stop beating whenever he's near.

"We can't stop it, honey" came the second voice. So deep, yet alluring

I can hear my heart beating violently in my chest, trying to rip it and leapt out to the two guys that's just made their way in

God! I don't want this. Will my heart just keep it insanity to itself and leave me out of it?

"You good, Layla?"

I swear my face just turned a shade of red. I nodded speechlessly as he took a long stride towards me.

I don't why he's grown his hair this long, and how he'd get away from even dying it blue.

He grabbed my shoulder, making me look up to his enchanting blue eyes. My eyes moved from his eyes down his pointed nose, then his plump red lips that was busy calling for my attention

"Layla!" Dylan called

"Dylan!" I gasped. My face is heating further.

God! What's more of an embarrassment

A grin marred his face, he chuckled lightly and quickly wrapped his arms around my shoulder. "What are you thinking, Layla!" He mumbled

Again, I was overwhelmed with how deep, yet annoyingly great his voice sounded. His manly cologne waffled through my nose that gave me a tingling sensation between my legs

Stop! Layla! Stop!

"Nothing," I muttered. Now, I suddenly lost my voice and resorted to stammering!

Great! Just great!

"Is there anything wrong with you, baby girl?" Harry said, a big scowl on his face as he matched towards me. No, toward Dylan and me.

Harry is a typical playboy, yet my stupid heart refuse to take in that fact. With his golden dyed hair, the piercings on his ears, and his long slender body, he sure can pass as a runaway model!

Yes! Model

Harry stopped before me, looking from my face up to Dylan beside me, his scowled grew bigger. "No more morning hugs, princess!" He said

I grinned at him, trying to ease my thudding heart. "You came a bit too late" I mumbled

Harry smirked, a typical bad boy smiled before he quietly snaked his hand around my tiny waist. I gasped, looking from Harry to Dylan who still has his hand around my shoulders

Oh no! They're not making this feel better.

I silently gasped when I felt both boys cocooning me to their bodies. Their strong cologne mixes together to produce a stronger cologne.

My heart was a beating mess now, my face now a shade of violent red as I tried to keep myself from shaking.

Can someone just save me from this mess?

"Aren't you guys going to school?" Tori yelled, coming to sight. As soon as she get to us, her eyes landed on me and she gave me a confused look before a grin found its way down her lips

"Of course we are" I quickly replied, trying to free myself from the stronghold of the two guys holding me

I groaned. Who am I kidding? Harry's hand on my waist tightened, and Dylan nudged me lightly on the rib

"We're escorting you," Dylan whispered in my ear, making me moaned lowly

His hot breath on my neck almost made me wet.

"I actually can walk on my own, you know?" I managed a grin on my face, looking from one guy to another. "You can just let me..."

"No chance, honey!" Harry scowled, tightening his hold on my waist.

Okay! What is this?

Following their steps, I was escorted down to the dining room and Harry quickly removed his hand on my waist to pull out a chair for me.

"You don't actually need to do ..." I swallowed the rest of my word when Dylan glared at me

Of course this is not the first time they are doing these things, but I've learnt to avoid them because it does me no good.

Dylan slowly removed his hand on my shoulder, then he pushed me slightly down the chair before he took his seat before me.

"I did not eat much this morning," Harry tsked, "I guess you know why?"

A bigger scowl formed on Dylan's face and he slapped Harry softly on the forehead.

"Do you ever know anything else apart from eating?" Dylan scowled

I snorted. "Obviously no!"

Harry pouted, a playful frown on his face as he glared at both me and Dylan. "You know what else I can do apart from eating, right?!"

Dylan snarled. "Don't bluff!" He smirked, "everyone knows how you fuck the girls like your life depends in it. "

"I'm glad you know that" a triumphant grin marred Harry's face, and I couldn't help but feel a tightness in my chest.

Harry is a player, I know that and I'd get used to seeing different kinds of girls around him, but then, my silly heart still did not want to comprehend this fact.

I let out a dejected sigh as I stared at my two friends who's playfully bickering themselves, and I couldn't help but feel a wave of guilt wash through me

I did not want to lose my two friends, but for how long will I keep my secret? For how long will I keep being secretive in our friendship?

How will I tell them that I did not just love them as a friend, but as a lover!?
