The awkward silence that was felt at the dinning table was so intriguing that one could cut it with a knife but I didn't care less cause I was busy goofing all those delicacy down my throat but I felt something akward in mama's eyes those eyes said much more than her lips had said but all I could do was to avoid eye contact with her to avoid being dropped with a fake smile all in the name of "Table Manners" especially with the already bulge gradually forming inside me

Mama finally got to her breaking point and finally what I was avoiding was already about to be said

"Bethany you know we could actually stop all this.. you think you can leave the house and come back anytime you want and to make it worse with a BABY!!" mama said

I was actually about to say something when she gave me the shocker of the century

"You can't stay here with the baby!!" She added with a yell mixed with frustration in her voice walking out of the dinning table after throwing her napkin at me...

"I drop you off at Olivia's place" Delvin said with which I replied only with a nod because I was still trying to process all those words and the more I try to the more all those clips of that horrible mistake replied in my head ..

"Well if you really want my advice you need to go let his parents know that your pregnant for their son"

" A son whom they already sold out for their political status"

"What do you mean sold his political status?" Olivia aasked

"' His parents are planning on making him marry another lady"

"What ?" Olivia screamed

" Beatrice Washington I read it's her name"

I noticed something strange as I mentioned the name to Olivia.. the stare into air was enough to know that something is wrong with her but I didn't care to ask all I wanted was a place to rest my head off before maybe taking Olivia office and going to see Darey Willard's father a man whom has forgotten his dignity all in the name of a dirty game as they call it.. A man whom seems to have forgotten about his lineage and traditions that his blacked and not only blacked but a Nigerian man who one can call a Middle class citizen......
