My name is Anna and I am twenty three years old. I was born to Mr and Mrs Adeniyi. I'm the third child of my parents and I have two older brothers and a younger sister. My eldest brother is Robert and he works in a bank as a marketing manager, my immediate elder brother is Christopher and he is weird and I will call him a business man because he is always buying and selling something.
The baby of the house is my sister Rachel and she is a student at the university. She is studying Accountancy. Apart from me being her sister, she sees me as her biggest rival in everything, well, that's a story of another day.
I just graduated from the university and I studied business administration and I am also a trained tailor. My parents think I'm over ambitious because I have dreams but is there anyone without a dream? I was looking forward to getting a job or even opening my own shop. All my mum talks about is me getting married and it's kind of annoying because I'm not ready and I doubt if my boyfriend is even ready.
My dad is a retired principal while my mum is a nurse. She had always wanted me to be a nurse but I was terrible with sciences. My dad didn't mind if you were in science class or not, all he wanted was an impressive result. I had just moved to Abuja to stay with my brother Robert so I could start searching for a job far away from my mum who lived in Lagos. It's not as if she is not a nice woman but she can be overbearing.
Robert has a two years old daughter who I adored, her name is Rose and I got along with his wife Tobe, she is an awesome lady who always encouraged me to work hard. She has her own business and I saw the way my brother encouraged her which made me pray for a supportive h like him. I did not have friends and it's not because I'm a shy person or anything but people can hardly keep up with me and it affects my relationship with others. Well, that's just a brief history of my life and the journey continues.
My dream is to become a fashion designer with a name for myself since I loved fashion though my mum would prefer I get an office job and that's the reason I chose to leave home and move to another city and avoid pressure from my mum and I found myself in Abuja trying to make a name for myself. I hope to make new friends too because I left friends behind in Lagos where I moved from and hopefully fall in love but who knows when that will happen? I didn't want any pressures from relationships either.
Well, here is my story.
