I saw this tall, dark and handsome man descending down the staircase. He was very handsome and quite confident in his walk. Little did I knew that I would be entangled in something wild with this man.

Those were the thoughts which came to Alannia mind when she met the handsome Dorien Coultier.

It all started that Saturday afternoon in the French country side. Alannia was attending the wedding of her co-worker from the local jewelry store which they worked. It was a beautiful day for the wedding, birds were chirping and flowers were in full bloom. Not one gown was deemed ugly for this wedding, everyone was looking great besides the newly weds. When it was reception time, the couple went to cut the cake to the sound of excited family and friends. The garter and boutique toss was gonna happen later, it was time to eat! The food couldn't have been more perfect, not to mention healthy.

Than the dance would come right after, THAT was what everyone was looking for to. Well, almost everyone, except for Alannia though. Her significant other never bothered to show up for the wedding. Let alone the fact that he didn't even like her co-worker.

She wore a long cocktail off shoulder dress of beige. Her hair was long and curly and had a ivory rose pin in it. Her fair skin didn't look more perfect for this occasion. Alannia wished she was more cheerful than she wanted to me.

Her significant other sent her a annoying text asking if she could bring half of the leftovers over. When she texted back that their wasn't much left, he rudely said forget it and never bothered to asked how she was nor her co-worker. Not that he really did care for the latter.

Shaking her head, she went to the bathroom upstairs. After five minutes, she came downstairs and tried to smile.

Why can't he be more considerate? IT'S A WEDDING! Anyways, I should try and stay positive.

Alannia went to the counter and gazed at her reflection in the mirror. She really was a beautiful girl. Alannia was about to go to the dancehall when she notice someone descending down the stairs.

He was a tall man, with dark smooth hair and had an eye colour fair too beautiful and crystalized to be common. He caught her staring and she immediately turned away. Seeing her reaction made him smile, she was modest. She tried to pretend to have not seen him yet a part of her didn't mind that he saw.

"May I offer you a drink miss?"

She turned around and nearly jumped seeing him standing right beside her.

"I'm sorry to have startled you."

They made eye contact and this time, Alannia couldn't look away. The gazed they shared felt very profound.

"You're very beautiful."

"Thank you."

She became nervous having exchanged such a gazed like that and tried to leave from that very spot.

"Miss, would you like to dance with me when they give the call?"

She didn't turn around to face him.

"I was going to the garden in the back."

"Why? Do you not like to dance?"

"I came alone."

He moved his hand over to caress her arm.

"A beautiful thing such as yourself shouldn't be coming to a happy occasion by yourself. Least of all excluded from a dance."

Alannia turned around and he took her hand to his lips and kissed it.

Oh my. This man is a gentleman.

"I promise you, you'll be dancing very shortly."

"Sir... you're far too kind."

He started to caress her hand.

"I wouldn't want such a beauty to be left out of a bride and groom's first dance."

A spike came from a microphone, the groom had announce that they were going to take their first dance and everyone should gather around and prepare to dance as well.

"Come."

Dorien took a surprised Alannia hand to the dancehall and made room for them to at the center of the crowd. They watched as the happy couple danced, full of smiles and laughter intertwined.

"They look so happy don't they?"

"They do." Alannia replied while she watched on.

It was than time for the wedding guest to come and dance. Dorien took Alannia hand once again and they began to slow dance. Dorien leaned over and whispered in her ear.

"You dance beautify."

"I suppose."

"Don't doubt yourself."

He spun her around and she began to laugh. Than, he pulled her in and let her go than brought her back to him. Alannia laughter was music to his ears.

"You have a beautiful laugh."

"I never had such fun dancing before."

Suddenly Alannia heard her cellphone go off and stop dancing. When she looked it was her significant other. She remembered that it was getting late and she had to head home.

"I'm sorry but I have to get ready and head home. It was nice meeting you Mr..."

"Dorien Coultier."

He gave her a seductive smile which made her nervous. Quickly she walked passed him and hurried to the foyer.

Alannia didn't know why but being around this man made her feel something she'd never felt before.
