"Mmmmmmm baby, faster!" Nora moved closer as the noises became more audible.

She wasn't the type to listen in on other people's conversations, but she needed to know if the person she heard behind the door wasn't who she thought it was.

As if she wanted to detonate a bomb in her heart. She opened the door to find the couple humping each other with no regard for who was watching.

Her fiancé was supposed to be in a meeting and her half sister was supposed to be shopping while Nora attended a secret meeting, but her secret meeting ended sooner than expected, so she returned home to find her half sister and fiancé having sex in her half sister's room.

Nora, who was heartbroken and felt betrayed, decided to stick a portable camera to record everything because she would get sick if she stayed to see their wickedness.

The aroma of fresh coffee beans hit Nora's nostrils as soon as she walked into Ruby's Cafe, calming her nerves. Nora had a penchant for coffee, particularly cappuccinos.

The Cafe had a vintage yet calm look with brown wooden tables and cream white chairs that gave the place a classic yet calming blend. Nora couldn't deny how much she loved such places because they always helped her calm down if something bothered her and helped her think that even though she was one sharp minded lady, it all depends on who she is dealing with.

Nora lost her balance after colliding with a wall while distracted by her own thoughts.

'A wall? What caused a wall to appear in front of me?' But before she could answer her thoughts or realize she was falling, strong arms firmly gripped her as a man's cologne filled her nostrils, which surprisingly turned her on.

Is that even permissible? How can cologne, particularly a man's cologne, turn Nora on? That confused Nora even more because it had never happened before, nor had she ever been hit by such a strong men's cologne.

Not to mention that Bryson couldn't even get her first kiss.

A cough brought Nora back to reality, where she found herself standing but still clutching the man's arms.

She quickly apologized and released the man's arms while chuckling nervously.

Nora became so irritated by the man's statements, "It's okay, I know it's hard not to like me," that she turned to face him.

That was just a small desire; instead, the words became lodged in her throat as she looked up to find the most stunning guy she had ever seen staring down at her with chilly gray eyes and a sneer on his face.

The man's dark brown curls stood out and shone thanks to the curly afro at the top of his head and the fade cut below.

He was very well built, very tall, and from the way she felt in his arms, his aura screamed dark, deadly, and power; even a blind eye could tell that he was not to be trifled with, but this is Nora.

She choked back a lump and glared aggressively at the man in front of her "you! Never take yourself or others too seriously! A wolf's hug is preferable to your egotistical assholery!" Nora moved to the front of the counter without waiting for any more comments.

The man turned to face the woman who had accidentally run into him as he and his best friends were leaving the coffee shop. He saw the bottle-shaped woman with the small waist tip toeing over the counter to place an order.

For the first time in his life, he can honestly say that this woman blew his mind in a way that he loathed, but he already knew that she was the one who he would do anything for to be by his side.

The man walked out of the cafe, saying, "See you soon, mi amor," with a sneer.
