It's been an exhausting day for Alice coming home on a Friday night, just after her shifts 8-hour shifts working as a nurse, dealing with the patient, changing diapers, struggling her best not to slap anyone, while trying to keep herself safe, and so on, not to mention the 1-hour drive she took to get back home.
"House I'm happy to see you" finally made it home Alice wines up the car windows, turns off the engine grab her bag from the first passager seat, opens gets out of the car putting her slipper out first then puts them on, standing up then close it.
Checking to make sure it's lock "it good to go" before she switches "I've got to get that light fix" on her work phone's light.
Now walking distance to the door, she finds the key instantly putting it in unlocking the door with an exhausting sigh through her covered lips.
Alice puts the masks down off her face "I'm home!" Closing the door behind her, dropping the keys in the basket stand that's a few inches away from the door.
"Welcome back, mom and I sit the water already" "thank you honey, but whatever you want to have to buy or replace it" Walking up the stairs with speed Alice kisses her daughter's cheeks as she flies past her on the stairs.
{TIME-SKIP}
After an hour in the bath, Alice's phone rings interrupting her God-given time. "Yes, Angie?" "Are you ready girl!" "Huh? Ready for what- oh shoot! I forget!"
"We're waiting on you, so hurry up!" Alice stands up with the phone getting out of the "yeah yeah I heard you" bath hanging up on Angie.
{TIME-SKIP}
"Wow! Mom, who's the guy?"
" aren't you suppose to be in bed?"
"Aren't you suppose to stay home with your kid?" " Not when they're 18 and going off to college"
"Jeez kick me out why don't cha" Alice chuckles at the statement showing her daughter a devious smile " I'm just waiting for graduation, then I'll kick you" "Mom!" grabbing her car keys and the jacket for the dress she's wearing, Alice walks over to door " watch the house and don't wait up~" then opens and close it on her way out.
Walking over to her car on the driveway Alice turns on the flashlight on her Samsung Galaxy and shines it on the little remote on the car keychain in her hand.
With a click of a few buttons, the car starts and the door of the car automatically unlocked as she walks over to the driver's side of the vehicle and opens the door with her hand.
Alice sitting on the driver's seat with her feet still outside the car door slips off her heels then turns her body around to the starring wheel and closes the door.
Reaching towards the rearview mirror Alice's phone starts to ring, but she ignores it and fixes the mirror anyway.
Alice fixes the joystick to R [reverse] and finally slides the touchscreen answers the phone.
"Yes, Angie?" "Don't 'yes Angie' me, where are you girl?" "I'm about to leave out" "leave out?! You should be like 3 minutes, away, this two-day off is rare for a nurse like me, you, and Rachel, hear me?" " Yes ma'am!" "Don't be acting all cute, when your lawn ain't cut" Alice laughs out at her bougie friend " yeah, about that-" "no way!!" Alice removes the phone from her ears as her friends scream exaggeratedly.
"I'm hanging up now so wait until I get there, okay bye" Alice hangs up and toss the phone into the passenger seat then pulls up the emergency brake and reverses out, moving the joystick to D [drive], and driving off.
Now driving on to the highway in the fast lane Alice puts on her music and turns it up " yayo, yayo, moo-la-lah, yayo, bitch better have my money! Y'all should know me well enough, [bitch better have my money] Please don't call me on my bluff!~"
