Stretching her hands after a long time seating on her chair, Diem yawned.. She is so tired today and finally, She leaned back on the chair..

Turning off the computer, she looked around her medium size office.. Which has been decorated by her own two hands..

It's been five years since she is working for RD Corporation Ltd. as the director's special secretary..

"It's been five years and I am going to leave the office in just few months! It's been so long but seems it's just yesterday, I entered into this office!" She sighed feeling both happy and sad..

And now she has left only six months more, than her time is over here.. Basically she wouldn't do that if her boss, Salvador Rodriguez would not thinking about getting retire.. He wanted to handover the business to his only son, Sebastian Rodriguez..

Diem loves the old man like her own father.. He helped her a lot through her journey.. He is the one who invited her tk join the company..

she was just nineteen back then and now she has turned twenty three.. A beautiful young adult.. In her life Diem doesn't want to be anyone else's assistant then his.. That's why with him leaving she also decided to leave..

While she was thinking her past memories, suddenly her office phone started ringing which is only for her boss and office employees to call..

Diem picked it up.. "Hello, Diem Damiyany speaking.."

"Come to my office.." Came Salvador's heavy voice over the phone..

Saying he cut the call.. Diem huffed.. "The rest is over now, get your ass move to work Diem.." she thought it might be overtime.. Because her boss is trying to gather all his works as much as possible..

Getting out of her office, She knocked on her boss's door and after waiting for few seconds she entered.. "You call me Salvador?"

Almost getting sixty, a handsome old man looked up at her with a bright smile on his face "Hello, sweetheart.. Done for today?"

"Yes, it's done.. What I have to do next?" She asked.. Ready to get loaded with works again for the night..

Salvador chuckled "Well, well, your next work is having a dinner date with me.." There was a playfulness lingering in his eyes.. "What do you say?"

Diem acted to think by tapping on her chin and then spoke arching her sharply plucked browes "I think that's a freaking good idea! I'd love to!"

Salvador get up from his seat "Let's go then!"

And then with a smile lingering on their faces, they both get out of the company and went to their favourite dine..

The dine is under their company.. Basically, their company is investment company.. They invested in different sectors in 60/40 partnership or just bought it and run it in their own way..

Ordering their favourite dishes, Diem watched her father like boss deeply.. Something he was trying to say but didn't know.. In these five years she remained the most closest of him and she can read him like an open book..

"What do you want to say, huh?" Diem finally asked..

Salvador smiled.. He knew this girl for more than seven years.. She is such a talented girl and over these years it's very tough for him to hide anything from her..

This girl has always taken care of him as her own father..

"So, you caught me, huh?" He smirked..

"Yes ofcourse, I did.. It was too obvious truth to be told.." Diem replied as if it's nothing..

Salvador started thinking something and suddenly his bright face started getting lifeless..

"You know everything about me Diem.. My life and my family.. I am going to retire soon and give everything in Sebastian, my only son's hand.." He paused and glanced at her..

Diem nodded, asking him to carry on..

Salvador spoke "This is what my biggest insecurity is.. I have built up this company with much love and hard work.. I need him to be responsible with feelings for the company.."

"And for that he needs a proper trainer with strict rules, who can show him the right direction.. And in my eyes, no one is more perfect for this but you.. Diem, I want you to help me to take care of him for these six months and train him.."

He literally explode the bomb on Diem..

"Wh..what!?" Diem freezed hearing his words.. She didn't understand that it was a joke or what!

"What did you said!?" She asked again.. Trying to confirm whether she heard it right or not..

Salvador chuckled a bit.. He knew it would come..

"I know darling, you are not much fond of him.. You have never been nor ever tried to meet.."

"But as a father I have to make sure my son is in good hands.. And I couldn't think anyone better than you Diem.. I am helpless.." Salvador lowered his eyes.. He is sad and guilty..

Diem shook her head in sudden surprise and fell into confusion.. "But how could I!? He won't listen to me ever! I can't do this!"

Salvador hold her hands and looked at her with his pleading eyes.. "Please darling, don't deny.. Just think it as a father's last wish Diem.. Please, help me.. My everything will ruined if he is not trained.."

Diem felt ridiculed by the situation.. On one hand she doesn't like that arrogant man a bit.. And on the other hand, her father like boss! She fell in dubiousness..

Eventuall, She sighed.. She couldn't deny this man.. He has been her support and friend always.. Never behaved like a boss.. Salvador Rodriguez is her idol and inspiration in life..

"Fine, I will do it.. But I can't guarantee you that things will turn like the way you want.."

The old man nodded his head.. "I know, things are unpredictable.. And I also know if someone can do it, then it's only you.. And I want you to give it a little try.."

"Okay, from when will I start then?" She asked..

"Feom Monday.. He will be in your hand for these upcoming six months.."

Diem nodded.. Suddenly, something came in her mind and she looked at him frowning.. "What about you? Who will assist you than, only Chester?"

Salvador lowered his head again, as if a thief has been caught! "I am retiring from Monday onwards.." He spoke slowly..

"WHAT!?"

Diem again went dumbfounded.. She did not know what to say anymore.. She felt she has been betrayed!

"You lied to me! You have planned it from before!" She said painfully..Feeling distraught..

"I did and I am really sorry for that sweetheart.. Please forgive me.. I didn't find any other way.. For these upcoming months, you will be the main person.. You have to take care of Seb and the company.." He said, giving her a puppy eyes..

Diem sighed.. "Okay".. Taking care of the company is not a big deal for her.. But Sebastian? She doesn't know!

After having dinner Salvador dropped her home.. The whole way she remained silent.. And why not? He betrayed her! And he should face the wrath now..

However, the old man kept apologising from his heart.. And she ofcourse could to be angry with him forever.. So, she decided to let it go..

Getting home she took a cold shower and lie down on her bed..

Salvador's words kept roaming inside her head.. Frustrated, she rolled on the bed and cried.. "Ugh! UGGHH! I can't believe this is happening with me! So frustrating!"

And why she wouldn't!? Diem Damiyany is the person who always cherished her peaceful and honest life more than anything! And now she has to enter the world she loathed the most! The fake world of entertainment! Well, at least it's fake for her!

Soon Monday came.. Diem looked herself through the mirror properly and nodded when she felt satisfied.. Today is the new beginning of her life with a new challenge.. She  needed to be come and patient..

"Yes, you are good to go Diem.. Now, let's get your ass ready for the most frustrated work of life!"

She get herself out from her apartment and directly went to Sebastian Rodriguez's mansion.. Salvador has already informed his son about her arrival..

Glancing at her wrist watch Diem nodded in satisfaction.. Five minutes left for 8 am.. "You are on time Diem.. Now, let's go with it.."

She stood maintaining her professionalism after ringing the bell.. Waiting for Sebastian to showed up..

However, much to her dismay, an old man open the door.. Wearing all butler uniform.. He politely smiled at her..

"Hola señorita.."

Diem thought Sebastian would show up as exactly at eight they would leave.. But, instead of him another man showed up!

"Umm.. I am Diem Damiyany, Mr. Rodriguez's new assistant mentor.. Can you please call him?"

The old man never lost his smiling face.. He stepped aside from the door.. "Young master has informed me already.. Please come inside ma'am.. He will be down at any time.." He said..

Diem smiled again and went inside, following him.. She didn't want to though.. But, on the first day of work she doesn't want any unnecessary drama..

The old man turned to face her with the same smile holding on his face.. "I am butler Mateo.. Serving for Rodriguez's before young master was born.."

It was a real long time! Diem has visited numerous times at Salvador's but never have seen him.. Maybe he has always followed his young master.. However, she didn't voice out anything..

Butler Mateo showed the couch in the hall room.. "Please be comfortable miss Damiyany.. Young master will be here in just no time.. Will you take something?" He asked politely..

Diem shook her head "no thanks, I am fine.. I will wait for him here then.."

Butler Mateo nodded his head and left from there..

Diem looked around the huge hall room, she sat on the couch.. Everything is posh and screaming of a lavish life style..

Diem loves lavish and rich life.. She has always been dreamt of doing something on her own.. She is a woman of big dreams who always achieved what she wanted.. Very determined and hard working.. Her this nature has always please Salvador..

Though her huge dreams never allowed her to walk in the wrong path.. She has always remain honest and true to herself.. She is someone who never have scared to speak for herself..

She is really very mesmerised by the interior decorations of the mansion.. She started clicking pictures inside her memory.. Working with Salvador has showed her lots of mansions and villas but this one is the bestest.. 'He really has a great taste of decoration..' She agreed in her mind..

However, fifteen minutes passed but there was no sign of Sebastian Rodriguez.. And now Diem was getting irritated with each passing time as a very punctual woman..

She already memorised the whole living room by now.. There was no sign of any servant nor the old man who received her! She stood up from the couch and started walking around and observe things..

"Seems you love the decoration.." Suddenly, one sexy melodious voice with heavy Spanish accent came to her ear..

Diem was startled at first but then gathering herself in just a second she turned to face the man..

There he is! Standing a few steps away from her with all his glory.. Looking extremely handsome and arrogant with a smirk.. Wearing, a navy blue blazer with a matching pant.. White shirt under it, which was half buttoned.. Almost half of his muscular chest is revealed for show.. half of his tatto can be shown on his right chest..

Because of Diem's overly busy life she could not get much time for entertainments.. And for him, she has never seen him in real life more than two times.. That also from a far..

He walked up to her.. His eyes started roaming all over her perfect figure.. A smirk appeared on his face..

"I thought miss Damiyany would be a middle aged woman.. But, you are too young than I thought.."

Diem immediately understand that believing in other she never did wrong, at least about him! He is really arrogant!

Diem flashed her most fake professional smile at him.. "It's nice meeting you Mr. Rodriguez.. I will be your guide for upcoming six months.. Hope we have a good cooperation.." Diem reached her hand towards him for a hand shake..

Sebastian's smirk deepened.. He glanced at her stretched hand but didn't bother to shook it..

"I have heard that you love obeying the rules.. And for me, I love breaking it with all my heart.. As I don't want this stupid business to take over, I will make sure that you give up on your own, miss?" He arched up his brow..

Diem did not lose her patience, instead maintaining the same smile, she spoke "It's Damiyany.."

Sebastian bend down to her.. Now his breath could touch her face.. "I will show my father how incapable his trusted secretary is.. So Let's see, how good you can work, miss Damiyany.."
