Luna
<Year 1487>
A watch the kingdom that is being built, not far away from our tribe's land.
They will get in our ways. Sooner or later, they will try to get our land and made us their slaves.
"Luna, the tribe leader is looking for you."
I look at Heria. Her black hair has a glimpse of red when it's being kissed by the sun. Her cat eyes are looking at me coldly, leaving no expression on her face. She handed me a scroll with our tribe's seal.
An eagle and a crescent moon, printed on the paper.
Heria turn her back to me and walk with her bare footed feet. I followed her immediately, we're going back to the main village of our tribe.
Our houses are not made up of bricks, unlike those houses from the other tribes or kingdoms. Our house's foundation is just a bamboo stick. Then our wall and roof are nipa.
Back in the days, it's cloths. But it can't be used during stormy days so we change our house's materials.
We stopped in front of the biggest nipa hut. The curtain in the window is being blown by the soft wind.
Heria knock on the door and said, "Lady Raya. Luna is here." And then left me alone.
The door opened, an old lady appeared wearing a small smile on her face.
I sigh as she lead me the way inside her abode. I sit on the ground and wait for her to comeback.
Lady Raya, the tribe's longest leader. She became our tribe's leader the day when her family died due to wolves attack.
According to her stories, those are mythical wolves. Those who shape shift into humans.
When she came back, she's holding a cup of water. The cup is made up of wood. I immediately accepted it when she give it to me.
"Greetings, Lady Raya." I said as soon as I realize that I haven't greeted her yet.
"Greetings, Lady Luna." She put the back of her hand on her forehead, but only only her forefinger is touching the skin.
Our form of greeting, accompany with a bow.
"What is it, Lady Raya? What do you need?" I straightforwardly asked.
Her smile vanished, making her expession cold. "When you meet the alpha, never fall in love. He is mated to someone else."
I rise from my bed as I started painting. Sweat is all over my face.
Lady Raya died two years ago. But that memory was like, engraved, to my memories.
I wake up from another disturbing dream again, in the middle of the night.
I stand up and slowly walk towards the window, I froze on my position as I heard the wolves growl. It's not far from our tribe's base.
I immediately grab my bow and arrow, just in case there's a sudden attack.
And to make sure our safety, I leave my house in the middle of the night and patrol around.
Tonight is full moon. Maybe that's the reason why the wolves are growling, maybe they don't intent any harm to us—
My eyes widened after an animal jump into me from the bushes. In order to get away from the animal, I turn around and tripped myself.
I groan a little and slowly stand up. I look at the animal—no, it's a human. He's naked...
Dear ancestors, my eyes!
A man is lying down on the cold ground while his top is naked, revealing his upper body that looks too muscular. I look at the opposite way from the man and started thinking.
What should I do? He's naked, I can't let him in. I mean, he's a stranger! But... It's cold. I mean, he's not totally naked, Luna. He's just half naked.
But he's still naked! This is making my head ache, Gods!
I stopped when I felt a hand grab my right hand. When I turn around, I saw the man pull me close to him. I bump into his chest.
Holy cow. Ancestors, Lady Raya, Mama, Gods! What do I do? Does he mean harm?
I almost forgot to breath as he snake his arms on my waist. I gulped and look up to the man.
He's looking down to me with those silver eyes. It's fascinating. His hair was tied into a bun but there are a little amount blocking his face.
I raise my hand slowly and put it behind his ears. I felt an electricity flow on my body when I touch his skin. Oh dear, I didn't mean to touch him.
His left hands touched my hand, then intertwined it. My mouth was left half open, I felt like this man is bewitching me.
"It's full moon, mate." His voice sounds so tired that his head will fall into my shoulders anytime.
That's when I saw it, there are scratches and wounds on his body. My eyes grew wider and I accidentally push her. "Wait, what happened to your body?"
He chuckle and caress my hair, my forehead wrinkled. What the eagle is wrong with him?
"Raya was right. You are pure and innocent." He said, flashing a little smile that annoys me.
But Raya? Does he mean...
"How do you know our former tribe leader?" I curiously ask him. I warily examined how he will react, but nothing is suspicious at all.
Who is this guy? How does he know Lady Raya?
He lower his head a little bit to level our eyes. I blink. His eyes are smiling at me too. Am I hallucinating?
"I promised her to marry you."
My jaw dropped. Just what did he said? Marry? As in wedding of a couple? I don't even know him.

I run towards nowhere as the huntresses chase me. Why on earth do they like wolves so much?! I feel like they're going to follow me wherever I go. It feels like they'll even jump off into a cliff when I do.
I jump on a bush that appeared out of nowhere while I am in my wolf form. My eyes widened mentally as I jump into a woman.
Oh, moon!
She suddenly turn like a fast tornado and tripped herself on the ground. While I change into my human form and fall on the ground. My body can't bear the pain, I'll rest for a moment.
I closed my eyes and catch my breath. When I get enough, I stand up and watch the woman.
I pouted. She looks problematic. Her brown wavy hair is not even tied. Maybe she wake up from sleep, what is she doing outside anyway?
I look around for a moment and realize where I am. I am on Crescent tribe's den.
I look at the woman again and started walking towards her. Lady Raya's, their former tribe leader, word rang into my ears.
"She's not jolly. She lacks emotion. Her amber eyes makes the other people think that she's not a human, but a vampire. She rarely talks to anyone." I remember how she smiled brightly while describing the woman whose name is Luna. "But she's warm hearted. She loves and treasures her bow and arrow. But I feel like she's never going to meet the one for her."
I grab her wrist to confirm something. I adore the woman on Lady Raya's stories. The council decides of who we are going to marry, but I am not going to let them decide to pick a mate who I don't want.
"She's just my style, Lady Raya. Maybe one day, I'll meet her and marry her." That's what I said to Lady Raya the last time we talked.
