"Dana, are you done getting dressed? were gonna be late!" Mommy asked who is waiting in the living room. "Almost done mommy, just give me a few more minutes." I shot back.

Today, I will say goodbye high school. Not a typical high schooler, but at least I finished with high grades. I love going to school to meet my friends, but few were real. Jenny and Julie are my best buddy. Julie is head over heels to her boyfriend. Ending our high school life getting engaged. Jenny and I haven't had the chance to get a boy to hang on. The fact that we always scream when we see a handsome guy.

I finished high school being the Valedictorian, ditching the darling of the crowd being the Salutatorian. She hates us so much since we don't know the reason. She's not as beautiful nor sexy, but she's the varsity player and muse of our school. Whatever her reason, we're not interested.

“As one of your teachers, we are all glad that you will graduate after four years. This is not the end yet, but the opening of a new phase of your life. The next chapter of your life will not be easy, but I am sure you can handle everything with the guidance of your parents and new teachers. ” Simple yet meaningful statement of our principal. “Before we give your diplomas proof that you have finished high school let's listen to the message prepared by our Valedictorian this year, please come up on stage Ms. Dana Clemente! ” Applauses heard while I'm climbing to the stage. The darling of the crowd groups murmured that I don't deserve being Valedictorian. I fixed myself climbing the stage, proving them, I deserved it.

“Thank you very much dear principal. Good afternoon to our dear parents, teachers and graduates this year." I took a deep breath, scanning the crowd before continuing.

“Actually, I prepared a long sheet of my speech, but I opted not to disclose. Half of the crowd, screams I don't deserved standing her giving my speech." I stop and gaze at their area. "I don't know how I deserve it either, I didn't ask for this, but I did my best to pass my studies." The crowd roared, one guy shouted. "Just cut the crap, you're rich! You buy your grades." He shouted. I smiled not affected to his rant. The guards chased him away. I continue my speech, ending telling a funny story.

“Graduates lets continue to soar high with flying colors to be proud of! Let’s study hard and become a successful person in the future that our parents will be proud of. As our principal said, our next journey is not as easy as we had here, but I assure you it's interesting and worth chasing for. Thank you parents and teachers for molding our capabilities." I ended, smiling. I feel my leg cramp standing with my high heels. I hurriedly walk down the stage, didn't notice the man standing beside the stage suppose to climb up. I stumbled, falling down the stage hitting the steps hard making me dizzy. Some scream worried, some laughed at my misfortune. I stand up to walk when my feet twitch causing me to fall, but I didn't land on the ground as a strong arm catches me before falling. I look up to see my savior.

I froze, staring at his perfect face, his long chestnut brown pony-tailed hair makes him look like a European king. His thick black bristly eyebrows and long curly eyelashes emphasize his strong personality. He has a broad shoulders and leopard movements. His rain masculine scent, enough to make you sniff him. Staring at his deep blue ocean eyes gives a calming effect. His kissable thin lips are inviting. "Miss, are you okay?" He ask with his deep voice. I nodded, helping me back to my feet. I feel tingles on my body as his rough hands landed on my bare skin. I walk back to my seat wobbly. I clench my sweaty fist as my heart pumps erratic. Everything is new to me, my body reaction to his touch and my bizarre breathing. I calm myself as the principal call name to receive our diplomas. Who is he, what is he doing in this school?

I panic as my name is called. I'm shaking, approaching the stage. I saw him stare at me intently, as he swallows hard, making his adams apple move.

"Congratulations!" He said, reaching his palm. My palm sweats staring at his palm. I reached my diploma, grabbing his right palm. Sparks ignite as we close our palm. I saw him swallow again, restraining his self, but I feel him grip my hands. "Thank you!" I manage to utter not showing any signs that I'm damn affected by him. I exhale, looking at his eyes before turning my back. I feel goosebumps walking down the stage.

Everyone shouted and applauded after receiving the diplomas and we threw our toga's in the air with joy because we finished another stage of our lives.

I roamed my eyes to see if he's still there, but I didn't catch any glimpse of him. I heard people murmuring about him. So, he is one of the best alumni, that's explains why he is here. I feel dejected, losing his embrace makes me crave for him. Maybe this just a crush since I'm just 16 turning 17 years old. That handsome man, probably married.

I sighed, shaking my head, approaching my parent's seat. I bid goodbye to my friends and grab some shot of photos before leaving.
